Another great video, Dave! Always like to see a positive spin on something that can be quite (unfairly) maligned. I like to see a 90’s grungy aesthetic on things and a Carrie story is maybe the perfect place for that! Carrie 2 wasn’t needed, wasn’t really asked for, but I’m glad it exists. Every movie is someone’s favourite movie after all!
I watched this as a kid without any knowledge of Carrie (and King for that matter) and I actually enjoyed it. The final party scene was quite epicly violent.
Yes! This and the scene with the vinyl in Shaun of the Dead are some great pieces of music as weapons 😅 can’t think of any uses of cassettes of iPods in that way though 🧐
Two things: first part is the movie was filmed in my little neck of the woods in NC USA. it was kinda fun to see it happen. they got a LOT of locals to be extras. secondly, when I first saw it, I kinda thought of it as a R-rated The Craft movie. I did actually enjoy this movie when it first came out. I know, I for one, was cheering for all of them to die.

Hi Dave : So on your recommendation I sent off to eBay and bought Carrie2 The Rage and Pet Semetery 2 : I realise after watching Carrie 2 The Rage , why you like the look of the female lead : She could be your twin sister : She looks very much like you : without the facial hair and glasses 🤣Anyway thanks for the recommendation for both films they were very enjoyable 👍👍

I’m amazed you found 19 reasons…thought it was a terrible rehash from the original. I was a senior in high school when it came out and yea.. those kind of tools existed in my school too. Relatable yes somewhat…necessary? Absolutely not
I watched this film when I was a kid many times I was surprised that there was a sequel to carrie I liked the movie mena suvari and amy Irving did a nice job but still this film doesn't come close to the original carrie film
