This 2 movie will be among top indonesian legendary movie that would be talked about even decades after it first released, many have been trying to made a similar movie following the raid success, where action is at its core, some of them used almost the same cast even, but they all still fell sort compared to The Raid, Bravo Gareth, thank you for the amazing cinema
Damn I fucking like the sound music when reog scene, and the assasins hammer and the baseball bat guy appears, they mix gamelan with percussion so deadly, when the gong sounded it's time to killing.

If this film bears the name Hollywood in it, it would make billions of USD. Sad reality is even if Hollywood films are shit compared to this movie, but they make more money. Even the one produced in hollywood with Iko in it, they can't produce such a thrill movie as Gareth Evans did.
I had watched ;) my fave scene is car chase scene and kitchen fight :) i will watching it again today.. i love to see that silat has showed more on this sequel, especially on kitchen fight when 2 silat pros duel.. good job for merantau team

Shame on these Hollywood films nowadays on 40-100 million dollar budget and can’t make something good out of it these dudes were on a 4M dollar budget and put these fuckers to shame
Great movie, great tools, great cameras... But one thing that gareth evans missed. Helicam. Why he didn't use helicam? Car casing is more excited if he operated helicam

He was supposed to do Deathstroke movie in DCEU (Snyder verse) but after the Whedon's Justice League (2017) there's changes in personel and the movie ended up not being the priority. And now DC is rebooting again with Flash.
@@TopShotta. bukan gua ngarang² yaa, tapi kata bibi gua yg di US itu kalau the Raid 2 di US di perpendek masa tayangnya, ga ngerti karena apa, padahal antusiasme masyarakat sana gede bgt untuk nonton film ini.
ndak perlu segitunya juga,orang juga tau kalo itu film indonesia. malah orang justru kagum kalo kita diem2 aja dan engga usa koar2 itu film indonesia apa bukan. Mereka cuma peduli filmnya bagus atau enggak.
