#lasvegasraiders #raidernation #raiders #raidernation #christianwilkins #maxxcrosby A look at just how good the Las Vegas Raiders' defensive line should be in 2024.
3:16 That Mac Jones sack was awesome. Watch Maxx. Maxx fooled his blocker by looking at where the blocker thought the QB was. The blocker set his feet, thinking the QB was behind him. Maxx looked like he was going to push off, but never engaged with his hands, then just ran around him to the QB instead. That was some high level thinking right there.
Death Muthafuckin Row 🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️☠️ I expect a big yeaf 2 leap from Tyree, Crosby might break the record or get at least 20 sacks, Wilkins is gonna send this shit to the next level
If the refs can start calling holding. Crosby seems like he gets held the most in the nfl and refs never calls it. Bet if he was with another team flags would be thrown left and right
@@franksharp7621yep. Parsons and Garrett and Watt have plenty of no calls but Crosby is absolutely #1. It's basically every play and he almost never gets the flag. I've probably seen 5 holding calls against him in his whole career.
Koonce had 8 sacks in 9 games. And 3 sacks against the Chiefs since AP took over. Tyree was injured and rushed back out on the field. His 3.5 sacks came after AP took over. Maxx is Maxx just sacked someone while watching this!! It was Maholmes again. While he was on his couch eating bonbons. Maxx, leave that dude alone! With Jenkins and Butler, you have your rotation, and don't forget about the rookie Byron Young from Alabama last year. He dealt with injuries that kept him from really getting going. The one to watch, though, is going to be Tyree. That last game against Denver, dude had 3 guys trying to block him, and he bent all 3 of them back. That mess was crazy!! Now, he'll have an off-season as he's already in the building with Maxx and them boys. He'll have OTAs , mini camp, and training! None of which he had last year. He's already as strong as 4 bulls and a mule. Add in the workouts and training he's getting from working with Maxx, Koonce, and Wilson.... BRUH!! Every QB we face is going to get that Maholmes treatment. They had 8 sacks in that Giants game, someone is getting sacked 20 times in one game. And if we land a Jayden Daniels or Michael Penix as our QB...smh... that team will wish AP stopped at 63 points. It will be a Madden blowout!91-3. With 5 minutes left. Smh.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 As for the offense goes, I do believe Munford can hold down the RT spot, but the RG spot... now that is the concern.
@isaiahayers1550 ABSOLUTELY NOT!! This DEFENSE as a whole will be much better. Wilkins, Wilson, Koonce will be a major problem and will give Maxx more one on one's! If our defense is ANYTHING less than top 10, I'll be shocked
Raider's defense will DOMINATE even more this year with brute beast Christian Wilkins, a much improved AOC, and filling the O line holes which will keep the ferocious defense fresh.
This is THE BEST Raiders Content I have ever seen on RU-vid or anywhere for that matter.... As a member of Raider Nation since 1985 I hope to see more Raiders material soon
@@mikesauce717 never said we would use 12th man saying . The term 12th man goes back to the early 1900s . Its been used by many teams and schools . I said “ Dirty Dozen “ .
@@mikesauce717 Following your logic then the Raiders shouldnt have a shield as a logo because the chargers had it two years before them from 61-73 . Guess who worked for the chargers before the Raiders ? Yep , Al Davis .😉 Your welcome
Thank you Sir for speaking logic again ! Exciting time for our boys. I'm sure you'll do it but Spillane, Hobbs, Mauherig, Diablo are fixing to become famous
Koonce is powerful off of moves or the block. 2 edges sealed and a interior collapsing the front is dangerous. That leaves for Qb to rush passes causing turnovers. Grahams scheme will show more as the pieces get closer to mending...
awesome video bro, if it helps i thought about the title and murder row rolls off the tongue better, killer row also has the sharp k sound in there that gives it a more aggressive and edgy aura , or raiders reaper row for the alliteration RRR
Cannot wait to see this defense on the field this year! I'd like to extrapolate the last 9 games of '23 to a 17 game season, but we all know the math usually doesn't work like that. Still, I think the defense is only a couple pieces away from being really special. If we can solidify the QB situation, it's going to be a fun season to be a Raider fan!
Tyree is gonna break out this year.Full off-season and Healthy!!! Was still rehabbing first part of last season. He is gonna be a beast also!!! We will have one of the best D lines thus year!!!
by week 10 teams will start fearing this Raiders defense. there is not a damn thing the refs can do about the fear offences will feel. it might take some time for the offense to score at will but it is going to happen. our head coach is the MAN! Raider Fan since 1968 i can.t wait for the season to start.
I haven’t been this encouraged about the potential of our defense since the 80s. Every “ok” defense since that era has been patchwork with obvious drop offs in talent. This year, as it stands right now, we are pretty solid in the D Line. Overall, heading into the draft, we still have a couple of areas of concern with the defense, but we are looking good to go into the next season. The offensive line is a great area of concern which must be addressed as a priority.
Love the content, idk who makes your beats but as a musician myself they sound off key at parts, a lot of dissonance. Kinda throws it off sometimes lol! But that’s neither here nor there, keep it up Carl!💪🏻
Now instead of that six-step backwards the QB’s will have to take a full nine-steps and Crosby coming outside,Wilkins coming up the middle, kooce and Wilson coming on the other side meeting at the QB
A lot of reporters say that Wilkins is one of the best and some say we over paid him and he hadn’t really done much in the last few season or what not they exactly said.
Honestly (imho) just one good solid ass coverage LB that can run support...just sayin. We pretty much have everything else near as I can tell. As usual sir wonderful insight thank you for your awesome work. WWG1WGA...Pride and Poise/Commitment to excellence/Just Win Baby!!!
I would still go get Latu in the 1st or Orhohroro in the 2nd! Late in the draft we could add Mohamed Kamara, Khristian Boyd, etc… do you hear me! Stake the “f^€k out of this defense. So, I'm 100% in favor of trading back especially if Latu falls. I'm venting but this is a defense-heavy draft. He can get a QB (Pratt) in the 3rd or 4th because he might be heavily underrated. If you get Max Milton and Kamern Kitchens, damn nest season would be insane. I fine with Minshew, O’Connell or Pratt taking QB1 for a season. Very few QBs taken 1st overall workout. So, let's not be desperate and instead get skilled players. Also we can get RT, but we can do that later. DEFENSE PLEASE!😊
I’m gonna temper my expectations a bit. We did play a bunch of nobody teams with backup QB during the second half of the year. Yes, I know we still played against Mahomes and Tua but that was two games
Its funny how coaching made such a big difference for our team. We've had good offenses the last two decades, but couldn't get a good defense no matter how much money we spent on defense. To be fair, trying to have a good defense without getting a strong interior D-line won't work, and we haven't had an elite DT since Sapp, but it shows that we had good players all along, we just needed a coach who could optimize them.
@@Mar-ri2iq he was washed, but his washed was still better than a lot of what we have had playing DT the last 2 decades, which says a lot. Last time we had a respectful defense was when we had Sapp and Nnamdi.
5 animals with 2 guys that played over 800 snaps last season is awesome. The continuity is there with the old heads, Maxx and Koonce. Wilkins should blow up with this lineup. We do need a bit of depth here though.
Is it me or the more you look at the team you realize Ziegler didn’t do that bad of a job. Jimmy G and DC were more Mcdaniels blunders but overall the team was pretty well built out. Outside of the oline.
Ok I love this but you showed a clip against the pats twice and said both butler and koonce made the play….mac jones comes running up after the tackle each time….
