The Ramstampits | I Fought the Law 

Fierce Beastie is delighted to be involved, behind the scenes, with a brand new band from the West Coast of Scotland.
The Ramstampits feature a potent mix of some of the best Punk and Folk musicians around, these guys and gals play a huge range of original tracks from powerful, melodic, and punk songs to celtic barnstormers, sea shanties and folk songs - a truly potent mix.
This video is their only cover track to date, their Celtified version of a truly classic song, I Fought the Law, written by Bobby Curtis of the Crickets and popularised by a cover by the Bobby Fuller Four. It's been covered by so many others since, with the most significant being by the Clash.
The track is one of six songs on their debut CD/EP/Mini-album, ‘Light The Beacon’ which is to be released on Friday 22nd October. It is also available to download on all the usual outlets now.
