Welcome back to the second day of the Punk on the Peninsula's Virtual two day festival - We hope you enjoyed it last night and are ready to do it all over again but with over 20 more fantastic bands.
Having to cancel not one but two actual Punk on the Peninsula festivals due to the pandemic and the restrictions has been painful. The festival is such great event and it's been described as one of the most stunning punk festivals in the world - so not being able to host it has left a big hole in our lives.
What makes it the most stunning punk festival in the world - well first you have the absolute magnificent scenery here in Dunoon, there's the camaraderie of the fans around the venue and the town and lastly, there's the amazing range and quality of bands from the early punk years through to young new blood bands looking to break into the music scene.
In order to slightly fill the void, we decided to host a virtual festival and got in touch with loads of bands who have either played or were scheduled to play at the next POTP festival. They all jumped at the chance to support and here we are.
Each band has contributed with a little bit of a lockdown update and then introduce a new or unique performance of one of their tracks. We hope you'll agree that the line up across the two nights is superb and just a small reflection of what to expect when you come along to the full festival here in Dunoon.
