utilized this base design for several different servers including a weekly, monthly, etc. Never got successfully raided once. Consider upgrading the metal halfwalls to sheet metal so they can't be softsided out.
Just tried this on a build server. Overall, I like it. I'll try it on my next wipe (tomorrow), but someone below pointed out a lot of improvements and I pretty much agree with all of them. Also, 24 rockets to TC... And the wooden triangle does nothing for build privilege except offer a jump up, however, I could not place it unless the roof was not there. I would just rather use a stone barricade for the jump.
on the first jump up place a hexagon and break the 1s connected to the base then u can place a refinery and place walls might make it weak idk but having a refinery inside is nice

Whole base is not my taste, but some great ideas in it (love the vending machines, disconnectable tc), however maybe a few points for improvement. * The turret above bunker seems too easy destroyable from distance (or drainable due to its placement) * vending machines placement is not ideal, as in the moment you gain access to outer tc they can be looted with little effort * shotgun traps placement is very inefficient if a raid occurs * too many garage doors, nice for open core feeling but otherwise too splashable, some walls to force certain pathways would be more beneficial Id say. * Outer turret seems a bit too in the open. * Front ramp is vulnerable to softsiding a wall and then its only one hqm to core? * too many loot rooms - better to either reduce the footprint of the base - right now it feels a bit bloated :D Then again the aesthetics and vibe of the base feel good (but cost of base and raid protection are not in a good balance I think)!
Just curious couldn’t someone “softside” the bunker with jackhammers? Love the base and obviously it would be hard to softside in practice with the turret there. Just curious if thats a possibility! Awesome vid!
Solid solo base but does little for offline protection. 26 rockets to take main TC and another 8 if i want to full grief. It might be worth it to HQM the square floor behind the front door. This would deter the most logical raid path.
With the external tc attached to the gatehouse if raiders took/broke external tc would that not turn the turret on top of the gatehouse against you pointed at your door? Cause if so that seems problematic 🤣 I’m not sure if there’s something I’m missing there as I know with other bases similar has defo happened with shotgun traps I had on gatehouse peaks before do turrets work different?
just bc the tc is broken doesn’t mean the electricity to the turret goes off??? so the base owner would still have auth unless he turned off the power… 😹😹
looks good but as raid defense is horrible, so many g doors just to make them all splashable💀💀, try to make the path a maze...u low the raid cost so much if u leave them splashable like this...
