Been saying and many others that scottie is literally a point guard. He played the position growing up and was so in college. Hes clearly our best passer even though the stats didnt always show, he clearly was a natural playmaker. The only thing i can say is that scottie shouldnt be tasked to guard other pgs, especially the short quicker point guards so we need a player in the long run to guard that spot but on offence, barnes is perfect playing his natural position at pg. With him at pg i stll want to see him be aggressive. He needs to more off a score first player pass second because as great a passer he is, he is much more impactfull scoring because nobody can consistantly stop him.

My issue with it all will be; if things start going well, would Raptors still make trades? Yes, I was happy to see something different and Darko thinking about changing up things. But would they make moves?

That's what I've been thinking... They're so much in the "wait and see" approach that even seeing a roster shift gets the fans excited lol. Something needs to change no matter what with all these expiring contracts...

does scottie have a better handle than Giannis when Jason Kidd made him the point guard of the Bucks in his 4th year? I say yes he is. TBH doesn't matter how he does, he's always been a point guard and believes he is a point guard. Let him run.

Finally made the decision that should have been made in the preseason. As a follow up the team should consider benching Jak, starting Precious a few games to see what he can do as a starter. This team will be lucky to make the playoffs, so they should be willing to see what their younger players can do before moving on. Lastly, call up Freeman-Liberty. I'm pretty confident he's a better backup guard than Flynn. Flynn is 25 years old and looks the same as he did at 23. If the goal is to be big and switchable, which I hope it still is, then Freeman-Liberty is a hell of a lot better a choice in that scenario.

This is the only way this roster works. You take one of "the three" and make them play point guard or centre and unfortunately someone else has to come off the bench. Cause weall know Pascal, Scottie or OG are not coming off the bench.

This same dude said GTJ should suck it up and just come off the bench. Bro..some people are wired different. GTJ has that dog in him if given the chance and he needs to start. He also didn’t like the idea of SB4 at PG. always had the worst takes. At least he’s consistent.

@@lovethomoragbon479 lots of us have been saying this for months. I was weary of Dennis coming in because his first interview he seemed a bit too confident that he was gonna start. As we can see he gives the bench much needed structure and balance. Scottie can't grow as a PG unless he knows what to work on. We said he needed a shot....he got a shot. If we say he needs a better handle guess what he'll work on in the off season? The kid is an athlete....he can and will have a super tight handle by next year. He's a quick study and just needs to see what he needs before working on it. Unleash SB4.
