Think of it this way. At a school board meeting, a Christian board member votes "no" to allowing the introduction of graphic sexual content to promote LGBT lifestyles...that member is "restraining evil" because the Holy Spirit is in him/her. At an auto repair shop a Christian mechanic says he will not go along with charging a customer for parts and work that was never done...that Christian mechanic is "restraining evil" because the Holy Spirit is in him. Now look at the passage in Thessalonians that talks about the removal of the restrainer...what is implied is the removal of the Christian who acts in a Godly manner because he /she has been transformed the the presence of the Holy Spirit in them. This is just one more example of how the Bible does teach a pre-trib rapture. The book of Revelation does say that there will be people who accept Jesus Christ and that all of them will pay with their lives...so the Holy Spirit will still be convicting people of sin and unrighteousness...and these people will be those who have never heard the "good news" of Jesus Christ. Anyone who heard the gospel and rejected it will not accept it during the Tribulation.

None of the resurrections spoken in the Old Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John resurrection, or ones in Revelation 20:4-6 have anything to do with the clouds and the air. When Christ descends from heaven, He will lead the way, *=====>* "And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." The wedding festivities & marriage supper to take place AFTER the wedding, will be held here on earth with the tribulation saints & OT saints the special guests.

John 14:1-4 is talking about Jesus coming to receive us to himself and take us to a place He prepared in the Father’s House. When we get a harpazo, we see the Bride in the Father’s House in Heaven, Revelation 22:17. And during the return, Revelation 13:8-15

When Jesus's disciples asked Him about the end of days in Matthew 24 He said, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." There are no clear Pre-Trib verses. The verses used to "support" pre-trib are just verses where someone has to tell you what they mean because they don't actually say there is a rapture.

Christians will be there during the tribulation and they will be forced to make a decision on whether to accept the mark or not. It seems quite clear to me that Tribulation is something we will all have to go through and many of us may be killed for keeping our faith and not denying Christ. This is what it means by the hour of temptation. We are all going to be tempted to go along with receiving the mark. The rapture is unorthodox theology, we are not getting beaming up out of there like Scottie. Of course, I could be wrong and you may be right but I am 100 percent certain that I'm not.

REV 6...The seals begin a time of tribulation. Seal 5 shows those under the altar who perished during events of seals 1 thru 4. Seal 6 is a great cosmic event and earthquake that results in worldwide devastation or great tribulation. CH 7 CONFIRMS THIS when another group of ppl from all nations are in front of throne. These are worldwide believers in Christ who did not survive effects of Seal 6. Rev 6:16 says it is the wrath of the Lamb, as He is the one opening the seals. Notice all the events happening thru Rev 13 when the antichrist comes into full power and people cannot buy or sell without the mark, and must worship the image of the beast. Bible is clear that believers are still here as the beast wars against God's people.. Many will be jailed or killed as stated in Rev 13. Then, we see in Rev 14:14-16 , Christ comes on the clouds and reaps the harvest, THAT is the time of a rapture of any faithful believers who did not take the mark or worship the beast image. Immediately after that an angel begins gathering evil men into the wine press of God's wrath. This BEGINS God's wrath. Rev 16 clearly points out the bowls are God's wrath being finished. So yes the faithful believers, who were survived and endured from Rev 6 thru 14, will be taken out before the Father's wrath is poured out!!!!

The Last Trump spoken by Paul is the Last Trump from the Fiest of Trumpets. Twinkling of an Eye is am idiom of the Fiest of Trumpets. It's where the trumpeter takes a huge breath and blow as long and loud as they can on one breath. Paul was simply explaining what the SOUND of the Trump of God will sound like.

The wheat and tares grow together during the Tribulation. The wheat refused the Mark, so they are gathered and sent to Jerusalem for the wedding fiest of the Lamb, and to see Jesus set on the Throne of David as KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. The tares took the Mark. They are tossed into the Lake of Fire forever. We return with Jesus from Heaven to the Earth with our glorified bodies fashioned like Jesus's glorious risen body.

The wheat are not "changed". They go into the Millennium Age with their vile bodies to populate the Earth with children and grandchildren. We rule over them as Kings and Priests.

Jesus doesn't make a grand appearance for all during the Rapture. We are the only ones taken. It's not recorded every eye sees.

Missed the sermon? Normal arguments consist of points which support your point of view. So example: I grew up amillennial and am now pre-trib [my point of view]. I became pre-trib because 1. the Tribulation is 7 years or, the 70th week of Daniel. Where was the Church in the first 69 weeks? The 70th week is an uniquely Jewish event. 2. God poured out His wrath at the flood, on Sodom and in the Tribulation. 1 Thes 5:9 says God will keep us from wrath, so which is it? There's many more reasons, but this is an example of a rational way to bring up a point of contention. Your, "this is what God does because I say it" does not carry weight. I have asked first the people in my first church (Professors at Westminster Seminary) and every post toastie and mid tribber and have never gotten a good answer other than, this is what we believe. In *Matt 25,* here again...all that unfolds is here on the EARTH, not like the rapture event in the air.

You and i did not wrote the Words, but we want to obey, understand,known God's Will. If we do not look ( especially at Christ's Words for me more ) all the scriptures, the picture we came to will be wrong . The most important is Christ. The only way to make the Rapture is to simply believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again.

People who would pass from this life into the presence of Jesus by way of DEATH & not the rapture, only NOW think it would be a "disappointment", because our finite minds might want to be part of that great & glorious day, the RAPTURE & the "thrill" of it all. But hey, once we see Christ face/face, any "DISAPPOINTMENT" will vanish, for our immortal bodies will be void of any such emotion. Now, in response to you bringing this up, *=====>* _"pray you are accounted worthy to escape all these things"_ Those words are extracted from a passage that has ZERO to do with the church. @@deewilson888 Jesus gave Peter the keys to the Kingdom... But the Jews rejected the Kingdom with the Stoning of Stephen in Acts Chapter 7. We are the Age of Grace.

Jesus mentioned Days of Noah and that event was escape then judgment... Jesus mentioned Days of Lot, which ALSO was escape then judgment... Are you making a case for Judgment then escape? Because judgment then escape isn't an escape, that's a rescue.

Rev 3:10 Those who are left in the time of the 7year 'Tribulation' will have to endure to the end.

@@nia5520 ​ These verses are about the Second Coming. There is a First Coming and a Second Coming- not a One and One half Coming. Revelation 3:10 is about the Philadelphia church. do you know what church you are in? This is what the Bible says, The saints will not take the mark of the beast nor suffer God's wrath. II Thessalonians 2 tells us that we will be here when the anti-christ is revealed. Revelation 13 says that the anti-christ will be allowed to overcome the saints for a time. Revelation 14 tells the saints to persevere and that "“Blessed are the dead-those who die in the Lord from this moment on.” because then in Revelation 20 we hear of those who are beheaded for the sake of Christ in the Tribulation will reign with Christ in the millennial kingdom. Then of course we have Jesus's own words. When His disciples asked Him about the end of days He said this in Matthew 24, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

Rev3:10 Post Trib belief has no dispensation or rightly dividing, so that means the blind folds are on and cannot see the that each prophecetic timeline is for timely events that are unfolding in its context, so obvious.
