_Tangled Ever After_ is a really good short. Pascal and Maximus were two of the best characters in the movie, and the gag work with them is top notch and felt so natural. And the 2D series was even better, I highly recommend it.
I really recommend Tangled the series, its a really cool spinoff with a cool art style based off rapunzels paintings, an interesting expansion on the lore, and even tho its episodes are pretty cartoon standard its probably some of the best execution of them ive seen
@@hybridvenom9 What gave me away that Frozen is my favorite Disney series as I own all the movies and the animated shorts on blu ray, I have lots of books based on Frozen , Frozen 2 as well as Frozen Fever, I have lots of funko pops based on Anna and Elsa in different dresses and I own lots of other stuff thats from Frozen. Showing my love for Queen Anna and Elsa
Well, I'm glad you covered the Super Rhino short, even if you didn't like it very much. Having grown up with Bolt, I love the movie and the short. The short makes me laugh and the actual movie is so wholesome and action packed at the same time.
It isn't the deepest short or anything, but Super Rhino is enjoyable. It is just supposed to be Rhino dreaming about being a Superhero. With him being a super fan of Bolts tv show, this makes sense. Also, the Hannah Montana reference was due to Penny being voiced by Miley Cyrus.
Disney doesn’t make spinoffs and tv shows anymore because they only did it in the first place to get IP into the home viewing market while they still refused to release most films to home theater. But now since you can quite literally watch Encanto whenever you want, they don’t need bad tv shows to remind ppl that the IP exists. And also, idk how much this plays a role, but all the shows from my childhood messed up continuity, retconned, and completely bungled cannon of the 90’s movies, and i have to imagine doing that today might be met with more upset
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but Disney announced two shows, one for Moana and another for Tiana. But the announcenent was made the same day as Lightyear, Dug's Life and dozens of other titles; yet we still have no trailer.
0:50 Moana is getting an animated series in 2025, full 22 minute episodes done by the new Disney Animation Vancouver studio. Tiana is getting a series in 2024 as well
The Best of Both Worlds gag makes sense because Miley Cyrus voicing the girl was the big advertising draw at the time. It was also the reason I didn't want to see the movie, cuz I hated Hannah Montana as a kid 😂
There was another spin-off short of frozen about spring called frozen fever and also a spin-off tv show about Olaf recapping and presenting plots of other Disney movies
Sorry to break it too you but- theres more tangled spin-offs than just Tangled Ever After. Theres Tangled Before Ever After, Tangled the Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, Tangled Short cuts, Tangled inside the journal shorts (tho the inside the journal shorts are really hard to find and the only place to watch them is youtube)
Tangled overall is one of my favorite Disney movies. Characters are great, jokes are funny, and even the short is very fun. Kinda hope we get a Tangled 2 or even a decent Live Action Remake.
as a kid i followed a disney blog and i remember being excited for a tangled sequel and i was so disappointed when the blog said the "sequel" was just gonna be a short
The reason there is only one movie for a franchise and no shorts, is that the disney producers were too busy making new movies, that go with those shorts.
A topic on other older Disney spinoffs would be fun If I were to pitch movies I want to see more of in the form of a weekly series or a new full movie I would do 1 Inside out 2 Turning Red 3. Wreck it Ralph 4. Incredibles 5. Moana 6. Frozen 7. Zootopia 8 Monsters inc 9. The Princess and the Frog' 10 WALL-E things I would see more of but NOT with the main cast Toy Story Raya and the Last Dragon and things that are on TV I want movies of, I want toys of , I want IN the Parks as rides and walk arounds 1. Owl House 2. Amphibia 3. Gargoyles 4. Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales etd 5. Moon Girl 6, Gravity Falls 7. Star Vs 8. Kim Possible 9 Recess , but like move time forward 10 Oswald
"Let it Go" being played to death doesn't make the song itself bad. If you came across a grizzly murder scene, would you assume the victim was as ugly in life as they are in death? Would you be surprised to learn that mutilated corpse was once a supermodel? Would you blame the victim for ending up looking like they were put through a blender, or would you blame the killer? Long story short, overplaying a song doesn't make it bad.
Know what happened? Michael Eisner left, Euro Disney Failed and there direct to DVD studio closed. You would think streaming would be THE place to put hit shows based on movies and sequels, but the critics hated on those things a ton so they stopped doing those and found it easier to focus on Star Wars, Marvel, remakes and Original stories that never get love. The Olaf one reminds me of Lino King 1/2
