So many cars, and the stories behind them, as well as who owned them. It's so amazing to hear who sat in what and the movies they were featured in, so mind blowing.
The armored vehicle at the end is a "SJ-7 Peacekeeper Assault Humvee" from "The Hunger Games" movies. It appeared in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - part 1" and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - part 2".
I built 1000s of HMMWV. never heard of no js2 or whatever u said. It's a maxx pro MRAP dude. I worked on 100s. Not a humvee, sorry. It's got a International garbage truck frame. Maxx force engine n can takes a 6 in hole in the side and still keep pressurized to keep radiation particles out. They pretty cool, but the mat v is my favorite. I've driven those fuckers full speed (80) its pretty scetchy. They work though. Especially if ur being shot at.
That place is car heaven! Been there once just over a year ago and still geeking out over it. Andy was also my tour guide, chatted for a while with him, such a nice guy.
I visited the Petersen Museum in the year 2000. Loved every minute of it! Of course, I was'nt allowed in the Vault ( lol ) but I can recommend a visit to anyone who ever ends up in LA. Great place, great diversity.
I visited the museum in 2016 and it is incredible collection. I took photos of almost all the cars in the museum (not the Vault) including Steve McQueen's car and an attendant took a photo of me beside it. The Jag with the machine gun was also on display as well as many movie cars. Including the back to the future delorean car. Pity she did not show a shot of the outside of the building, truly unique.
Great video. The only thing that could have made it better was complete coverage of the collection. In either case, it was a pleasure to see such cool cars.

My favorite honestly was the Mercedes that Saddaam Hussein was escorted out of Baghdad in. I feel quite a personal connection between me and that car, since I spent a good deal of time there.
