I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know what you're doing but I painted mine to look like the 20th anniversary even the emblem is the correct color but have not done one controller yet could I couldn't find the middle button to match the original
I would've gotten it if it was an actual edition. Well, at least I have my Collector's MGS PS4 which was personally signed by Hideo Kojima during launch, it is one of three in the world. I'm actually considering selling it since I don't have time to use it. But I'm not sure if there would be people interested in it, or if it would fetch a decent amount.
I had this! I bought it for around $300 off of ebay and then after a while sold it for $800. Would have loved to keep it, but it was worth so much and didn't make sense for us to keep it. Now I can get a basic ps4 with controllers for like $60 on facebook marketplace.
I've come to the conclusion that this is my favorite RU-vid channel and RU-vidr, bar none. It feels like home every time I watch a video it just feels like us and Ryan. I love how the formula has roughly stayed the same over the years and idk it just feels so comfy watching this channel. Anyone else feel the same way? Like every single video just has this vibe. That crash bandicoot one is amazing. I've got the destiny ps4 and I love the way it looks I've got it standing up so I can see the design. I find myself not using it much now that I have a pro but I still keep it displayed right next to my TV.
I don't know if anybody else got this but the Grand Theft Auto Edition sort of looks like a Nvidia graphics card except for it doesn't have the logo and it doesn't have Nvidia anyways great video
Kinda neat knowing that I sorta have a 1 of 1 of sorts. Before Kevin Conroy the voice actor of Batman passed away I had my Batman Arkham Knight Limited Edition PS4 console signed by him. During it he said he’s signed quite a bit of the games, fewer Collectors Edition copies of the game but still had signed several including one of each for me, but said he had Never signed the PS4 system itself before and how my collection was unique from having each of the Collectors Editions plus the console all signed by him.
Those 2 year anniversay PS4s aren't that hard to come by if you want one. I've seen a few in game stores recently (I live in China) and you can buy them on taobao. Plus they do special limited edition PS4 consoles here 3 to 4 times a year to try to convince people to buy from the official stores rather than HK and Japanese models online.
@referral madness short answer : no. Long answer : there's always been a grey market for consoles in China. But one that sells them hacked with hard drives full of pirated games. So Sony is trying to make it popular to buy from an official store and pay for your games. But I've not noticed a shift in people's attitudes.
@referral madness The Switch is not available in China, as it isn't officially sold here. You can buy a hacked one online, or at a computer city. I've seen a few people with them. You remember all those old VCR model Xbox1's with the mandatory Connects? Ever wondered where they went? MS tried to sell them here. For the equivilent of around $800 USD, that didn't go well. Xbox as a brand isn't really popular in Asia. People do prefer PC and mobile. It's fairly similar to the Korean market. In that most people don't have consoles, and prefer mobile or PC games the majority of the time. Free to play is a big market here, as it provides a low barrier of entry. And people will save up to buy mobile phones so they prefer to have a phone most of the time to a dedicated PC.
Sony needs to make a "Nintendo PlayStation edition" PS4, based on the unreleased prototype. Have only 1 in existence, and make it the ONLY PS4 to play PS1-4 games, and Super Nintendo games.
