6:00 Acrids jump used to scale more reasonably. Back when Hopoo patched movement abilities to not cancel sprint, they never accounted for how the abilities are now calculated using sprint speed. So that's why Acrid can jump to the top of a map with just a few energy drinks.
@@TheKaratejesus The perfected aspect multiplies your regen by a lot! Well you've been to school, multiplie a negative by a lot and you get a big negative lol
I find acrid one of my most favorite characters to play. If the run is good enough and you feel a little spicy you can take corpsebloom for the memes its alright.
By the way, "Just dodge lol" is a crucial gameplay tip for RoR2, that is nowhere near simple "git gud". Because to effectively dodge in RoR2, you need items for mobility, not just "skill", and due to multishops and printers, you have quite a decent amount of ways to influence what items you have. So you change your priority in terms of items from healing to movement speed, and that's actually nothing like learning timings 'n shit. Skill in RoR2 is item management and time management, not intricate techniques for movement and shooting. If you nail timing and items right, gameplay itself will be trivial - run in circles, pile enemies up, and shoot stuff at the crowd to initiate chain procs
POV. You had 114 clovers, were in the void locus, die with pluripotent larvae, get 114 benthic blooms, and don't even make it to the planetarium because of a reaver explosion.
Also, about fall damage - in the recent Cap clip where launch pad on the moon killed him, he took like 7k fall damage, while he only had 1,3k Total, shields included, and it's still something I dob't understand. Maybe negative numbers after you die are just wrong?
I remember in the area that gives you an artifact and loops your run and i get the one that gives you a shield but i was doing engineer bustling fungis healing build though so it was literally useless
i never really understood the love for the brooch outside of games where you get a lot or loop multiple times. even after one loop there just arent enough enemies for even 3 brooches to keep up with the decay. enough brooches or enough enemies to keep it up is where it gets good though
My first aspect was Slice Between Two Strikes (the Overload one) as a Power-Mode Scrap Launcher MUL-T. I still died, but hey, that run was fun as hell.
I find that when I play, what often kills me is lots of hits over a long time span. I'll just slowly watch my hp trickle down until I finally die as I struggle to survive. A lot of the time this leads me to thinking that I needed more healing, But I mean, if I had the movement to dodge the hits I was taking (blind pests in this case), just enough to strafe. I'd have been fine. Same with golem lazers.
I like to think of it this way: healing gets a huge nerf in Eclipse, so why rely on healing the same way you do on Monsoon? You're playing a different "version" of the game and the balance changed drastically.
I know what you mean about the acrid secondary feeling like the special. But doesn't the bite just feel like an extension of the m1? And spit is significantly better
The thing about elite aspects is that the effect is same on you and on the enemy which means if you want stronger aspects for the survivor you gonna face stronger elites
@@gatekeeper6720 get a fuel cell. Also don't just reroll everything because it's not perfect, reroll what's terrible or bad and take things that are good.
Not even close to best. It may be like clover, but it works horribly with gestures. Only fuel cells are viable for cd. Executive card is where it's at. No cool downs, ALL THE ITEMS
@@amateurtries7542 This post was made well before the release of the dlc. If we are including it then yes the executive card is quite obviously better though it's utility is completely different and not really comparable.
I first found a perfected on accident and left it on the floor because I didn’t totally understand them 🤣 it was like my second week of playing the game lol
just got the perfected aspect yesterday, it's awesome to play with but unfortunately i couldn't enjoy the visual aspect all that much bc i was playing void fiend :(
would yall believe me if i told you that the perfected aspect was the first aspect i ever got? oh and also that i got fire aspect on two back to back runs?
That god damn sound at 7:46 is the SAME EXACT sound my fridge makes when you leave it open too long. Needless to say I've ran to close my fridge too many times...
What is that section of Race's healthbar that seems sealed off by glass? I see it in all of the videos I've watched so far, but don't actually know what it is? Edit: Nevermind, found what it was on the wiki
I literally got that one like 30 seconds into a run, first time seeing it, didn't even know what it was, freaked out cause I thought it was like the most broken item ever, then found out that it's not good
you might've gotten a different elite aspect, theres one for each type of elite. this one is only found from the perfected elites on the moon or during a lunar chimera event on stage 5
there are aspects for each type of elite, it might've been different ones that you got. or you got extremely lucky haha. this one only drops form perfected elites on either the moon, or during a special event on stage 5
