Ryu, if you go to your settings menu they added an option you have to enable which makes a whole page for most recent items you've picked up. It's super helpful and a much needed addition.

Love the Elden Ring and souls content. You can see how the Scadutree Blessing affects your stats on the status screen. The affected stats are in gold

Love the unedited Elden Ring videos. The edited versions are nice, but I enjoy watching the full struggle. It's much more satisfying when he finally succeeds.

Hell yeah, Ryu! I'll watch you play any Souls game raw or edited haha. Keep it up! Love these vids! The scadutree fragments really do help with damage taken for later bosses. It's almost easier to think of this game as "Elden Ring 2" for the upgrade materials. It's like the better leveling system while in the DLC. Also, this has probably been mentioned a hundred times, but there is a new option in the settings menu that will show a "New Items" inventory screen, as well as mark new items with a little exclamation point. If you turn it on, it will help you find new items that you aren't sure what they are, like that Blade of Mercy you picked up :) Happy gaming!

Okay loving the no summon/no magic hard mode run. Baller. Two things: 1. Please just jump L1. It does massive damage and for dual weilders is a must use 2. In Display Options switch on Recent Items Tab and Mark New Items. You are welcome. Also stream pleasssse!!!!

Hey Ryu, thx for all the content, been watching for a while and always enjoy it! One thing you might've missed that I'm not actually 100% sure if it is mandatory and/or if you got it: the golden beacons (ingame referred to as crosses) going straight up in the sky that are sometimes near graces can be touched and provide some story arc. If I remember correctly from other clips I saw, some npc tells you to touch them, too and it's always somthing about Miquella

I love watching this. I also think it's funny that Ryu is upgrading his summons every chance he gets, almost at every site of grace...and then never summons them.

I actually credit your first ER gameplay with why I remapped crouch to L2 lol. Made the play thru MUCH more enjoyable not accidentally crouching and jumping off my horse all the time!! It def does change everything! So thank you!!!

Ryukahr!!! You wanted to go to this castle that was deep down in the gorge. Look at your vid 1:27:31 on the map, you can follow the ledge to the north west. You desperately wanted to explore this (and I am so curious what is there!). 😀 PS: I looooove the raw experience of elden ring and souls games by you (since I am not good enough for these games (-; )!

how dare Ryu not find the Blade of Mercy between his 3000 items in his inventory. That is just unforgivable.

Scadutree provides around 5% bonus to the damage of the weapon and damage reduction stats.

The way he doesnt use the horse to double jump around the buildings lol

If you can fight one dragon you can fight them all. They are almost all the same. Just one breathes fire, one is lightning, one is ice, so on so forth, but they all fight the same. Unless it's a special dragon with an actual name.

You can get the birds with ease when they are in the air, just jump attack lol.

Around 1:15 that spirit spring you have to destroy the stone. Use mogh's shackle and you are good to go!

Dodge the Fire Giant attacks when they stomp by jumping.

I think twice I have done a double KO with me and a boss taking each other out lol.

I use the mimic tear on most bosses and it does not take away all difficulty. At best it acts as a distraction for a few seconds here or there. The mimic gets bonked around just as much as the player, though unlike players, mimics don't learn patterns, they don't really dodge much, they just get smashed and tank the hits lol.

Since you don’t use magic you should reallocate your flasks to have max heals. Just a suggestion.

I looked up the Scadutree Blessing and the scaling is weird. The short answer is each point increases your damage between 2-10% per level maxing out at 20 levels for about 2.05x normal damage and damage taken reduced by between .7-10% (yes .7%) maxing out at 48.7% taken overall. After you upgraded at 15:00 you were dealing about 1.3x and taking 77%. Before that it was 1.1x and 90% taken overall. Its super weird because originally it was a clean scale till 2x damage and 1/2 damage taken but they updated to what feels like random values, some levels seem basically worthless.
