8:53 Jody was, for the most part, right on the money here. Records, tapes and CDs (not yet a thing at the time of this int.) still exist, but more as fetishist collector items. Streaming is King. Terrible for the artist (shamelessly exploitative pay structure), terrible for the listener (what happens when a deal with a label goes bad and their entire catalog goes offline?).
