Well done, Sig. That looked like an excellent, calming shave. I’ve ordered the aluminium Lupo (in black), to add to my RR GC 68, Mamba 70 and SLOC. Like others have said, I reckon Razorock makes fantastic gear, for a very reasonable price. The UFO handle is also my favourite: just the right length, weight and diameter! My go-to for a mild shave is the RR SLOC. It has never let me down so far. Cheers. 👍🪒

I have all 3 plates and the .58 is my favorite. To me it’s as efficient as the .72 but easier on my neck. I prefer it over the Lopo aluminum and gamechangers and mambas.

What do you guys like about the SS .58 lupo over the aluminum lupo? I have the aluminum lupo and it’s one of my favorite razors. I’ve thought about getting the SS .58 lupo but wasn’t sure there’s any advantage or if it’s as nice as the aluminum. The head of the SS lupo looks different then the aluminum version.

I have a Lupo AL version and it sounds like it shaves similar to the Lupo SS 0.58, mild with some blade feel but not as mild as the Mamba 70 IMO. Master Soap Creations is a top value soap base with a good scent range, in the same value range as Stirling soaps with a bit better performance IMO, although not enough to replace Stirling in my collection.🤟😎👍

Nicely done Sig. I hope the Lupo 58 is a version you can get comfortable with. I was too scared to try the Asylum Rx, too many people said it was aggressive, that talked me out of it. Great shame man, have a great week!

always good to see you Skipper - maybe try rinsing your face after each pass to be starting fresh each time - you will rid yourself of the shaved skin cells and bits of hair stuck to your face - let me know how it works out - till the next one - cheers

Thank you, Buddy! I I have tried the risnse between passes in the beginning of my endeavor. I find that I lose residual slickness( and protection) from the soap if I rinse. So that's my reason for not doing it. Also my other mantra: Less mess is a bless... I don't like having soap, water etc all over my counter... Thanks for watching! Have a great week! I sold my game changer because the way it loaded the blade. Maybe I’ll try the lupo next. I have an aluminum BBS that I really like because it’s super smooth. #WAD

#1. The word you were looking for is: desensitized...as in your nose has become desensitized to the aroma of a substance that you use frequently. #2. You know me, always going against the grain :D, but I still don't think it was solely a razor angle error but hey, I don't live inside your skin and I must trust you to know what is what about Y-O-U. ;-) Incidentally, I have some of the Captain Kai Pink SE blades. I got mine when I ordered the Hulk Green version of "Talon" or something, I'm blanking on the name.. #3. I am Hugo Boss fan of anything Hugo Boss. I love how that stuff smells! And guess what? Aftering grumbling and growling for nearly 2 years on the Aliexpress lost razor episode; I finally got that razor model in the Jungle as in Amazon! Now, to try it out.. Adios.

Thank you, Buddy!! - Desensitized!! There it was!! Thanks Buddy!! ;O) - I'll have to go back to the Asylum. I've had two consecutive below average shaves... Most Asylum owners have adviced to try a different ( more top-capy) angle. And also the Cai Titan mild blades. I'll need to explore more into this!! - Hugo Boss makes scents that just hit all my right buttons. I love all the scents except the all AS lotion called selection (I think); it's too fruity and water-melony. - Congrats on the new razor!! Thanks for watching! Have a great week! When I have a rough shave, my go-to mild razor is the Henson (mild). Out of curiosity, is the Lupo milder than the 6S R4 plate?

@@SIGSOLO BTW, after 4 shaves with the Yaqi TFC I am not that impressed. I get an okay shave but not as smooth and comfortable as many of my other DEs. The TFC won't be in my rotation. Maybe after I give it a rest I'll see if my impression changes. But for under $30 shipped it was worth trying. Right now I don't see any DE razor that can draw me away from my 6S. I'll continue to shave vicariously thru your videos 😉
