It's The Real Group's take on a musical task from the Swedish version of Taskmaster ("Bäst I test"), to be more precise: from the 2021 Christmas special. The task required the participants to perform a Christmas song without mentioning any words you usually expect in such songs, but make use of the contents of a parcel that each of them had chosen earlier, and Marcus Berggren came up with „Baba ganoush“.

In the Swedish version of the TV series Taskmaster they had a Christmas special where they had to make up a Christmas song within a limited amount of time, with the twist that it had to involve a word that was not associated with Christmas (and there was a bunch of Christmas-related words they were not allowed to use). One of the participant's song was based on the Arabic dish Baba Ganoush and it was the doubtlessly best one. For the next year's Christmas special the TV studio thought it appropriate to involve that song in another task: they had The Real Group come on board and perform their version, with the task to count the amount of "ba":s heard.

Ba ba ba. Hush!
