This comment touched my heart, bless you💞 life isn’t fair on the people who don’t deserve it but I am happy you can see it in another way even if it’s not physically
Some Trivia Info: in 1987 two vampire movies came out. The Lost Boys starring Jason Patric, and Near Dark starring Joshua John Miller. Both Jason and Joshua are half brothers, and their Dad is actor Jason Miller who played Father Damien Karras in The Exorcist.
“You'll never grow old, Michael, and you'll never die!” Loved it Adam...epic as usual. “The Lost Boys” is my favourite 80’s classic! Thank you so much for sharing!! 😊
I’m from Nor-Cal. In the 4th grade I had to do a project on the Santa Cruz mission. My mom took me to the mission to take photos, get reading material and tour through it. After that, she took me to the boardwalk where it was obvious they were filming a movie. I asked a man fumbling around with camera equipment what the movie was about? He said “it’s a movie about vampires.” I thought a movie about vampires at a beach sounded funny until I saw the movie, then it all made sense. Thanks, Adam!
I love how Adam's film location videos always send me off on a tangent. After now listening to "Cry Little Sister", watching a documentary about the making of Lost Boys, visiting the IMDB and then viewing the film in its entirety, I can now resume Adam's video. I am currently only 4 minutes in.
DAMN and here i was thinking i was visiting the old Lost Boy's bridge every time i went to santa cruz beach boardwalk. Lol love this video! i was singing along with u when i heard cry little sister, lmao!
Dude, that was Epic! I’ve always wondered where this bridge was. It’s good to see you there reliving the movie. Your commentary was on point and hilarious as always. “Thall shall not fall” off of the bridge lol I’m glad you made it and was able to upload this video. I have to quote you here “Pretty freaking cool!” For sure man. Thanks a ton for this one. I think I’m going to have to watch the movie again soon. Stay hydrated my friend lol pack a cooler
RobFuz That’s Awesome Brother! I was just going to say if it was your first time I really really want to hear your reaction after you watch it :-) 15 years is a long time though. I watch it at least once a year normally around October but because of this awesome video I’m gonna have to watch it tonight too :)
Great find! I love the Lost Boys. I can't believe how warm it's been getting out there also. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley then I moved to Canyon County. Now Las Vegas, and Los Angeles has been getting just about as warm. Thank you!!!
This is amazing! I'm so glad you filmed this, I'm a massive lost boys fan. I first saw it 28 years ago,, (when I was 12), and finally got to see kiefer last year in concert. Best night of my life!
One of my favorites. My aunt recorded this off tv when I was 11. (1989) I loved it so much she gave me the VHS tape she had recorded it on. I cut the TV guide ad out that said "Sufs up, Suns down, time to fly" and taped it all over the VHS box and still have it to this day. Thank you!
So cool that you did a video on the Lost Boys bridge in Santa Clarita! It was recently restored and retrofitted as a bike path/pedestrian hiking bridge. I ride my bike across that bridge quite often.
Nice!!! Thanks for taking us there!!! And also for actually going to the river bottom to see the under-view of the bridge. By far, the BEST vid of this vid yet! PLEASE do the other LOST BOYS film locations too!!! I’ll gladly wait for it, Brother! Keep up the good work! 🎠🎡🎢🎷🌑🦇😎
So glad you did this adam. Great work dude! Especially that you decided to take a shot from rhe ground looking up like in the movie. Other people havent in the past. Damn i love that movie. Mustve watched it 200 times . Greatest soundtrack too
Actually filmed in Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Santa Cruz CA, as an extra in the movie.aka SAnta CArlo. Dunno bout filming in both spots but I know SAnta Cruz bridge, they look very similar and long drop to water below. Flying Frog Brothers where on the Boardwalk and IN store and cast doubles drove motorcycles off Boardwalk, a fact.
Oh...and I'm really looking fwd to more filming locations, when you have a chance...I've heard Santa Clara was changed from Santa Cruz, because they didn't want to be associated with "Murder capital of the world "... is that true? Lol...
Just two or three nights ago, I was perusing Netflix and settled on Lost Boys. Adam, I'm a little bummed you didn't doff your shirt and recreate the sax solo.
Another fantastic film location episode!! I always liked Interview, the more dramatic twist kind of appealed to me. Definitely a fan of most vampire movies though!
Lost boys is the best movie hands down! Cry little sister is one of the best songs! I’m not a huge Manson fan, but he did a fantastic cover of “cry little sister”
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollercoaster_(1977_film) - The crazy guy who blows up coasters goes to 3 different theme parks, MM was the last of the 3 in the movie :)
Classic movie, Rollercoaster. Very cool that they were able to use the real names of the parks in the film. The finale of the movie filmed at Magic Mountain, before it became Six Flags Magic Mountain, and of course using the newly opened coaster, Revolution, for the final action scenes. That movie actually scared me so much that I never rode the Revolution until my 20s! Of course the Revolution is still at Magic Mountain, famous for being the first looping coaster, and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Fright Night is by far my favorite vampire movie. The Lost Boys is definitely my 2nd favorite though. This bridge looks like such a cool place to hang out! (No pun intended)
Thank you Adam, this has been my fave movie from day one, I watched this film 3x a week every week through my teen years..now it's only 3x a year sadly. Best movie, best movie soundtrack🖤 oh and I'm a new sub thanks to this vid 😘xx
