Yo in the 80s hustlas had more money than rappers and set the culture and style. It changed In the 90s with commercialization of rap. Rappers making mad legal money while the crack game that made millionaires overnight in the 80s wasn’t as popping as it was with Giuliani coming in and the police pressing in. So that change over from the 80s where rappers would be wanting to chill with these kingpins and creating relationships than it flipping over the next decade made rappers and hustlas crossing paths way more than how it is now. Rappers nowadays make more money and don’t meet a lot of big money dealers anymore.
It's not really that crazy ol boy said it like a 100 times their all from queens and hip hop is a small circle. The info was given in weird and disjointed manner. The story was simple and straightforward which should of made it easy to digest for a 🐦 🧠 but it was scattered at best when it should've been told as a hood ( meaning neighborhood) beef between different factions or crews from the queens hip-hop scene
I stay replaying that track from E money Bags “I want it” featuring Nas n Horse. E really lived out the infamous quote “It’s Better to be Feared than Loved”
E Money Bags was also friends with Tupac (there's a video with both Pac and E in it). He actually kept a notebook of Tupac's which detailed Pac's plans for the future as far as helping the ghetto communities. After Tupac passed E gave this notebook to Prodigy who was blown away by Tupac's written thoughts and how similar they were to his own views on street progression Edit: My bad Majesty gave Prodigy the notepad which was left at his place by E
On top of that he was upset at Pac and the queens niggaz for the bullshit. He made plans to dead that shit when he came home from the island. But Pac was killed by then.
@@stealthgenetix1754 they're all between 50-53, and they all attended Westinghouse Vocational HS except Chip Fu who attended Erasmus Hall with Busta and Special Ed.
I have the mixtape of the Roc-A-Fella freestyle session. What's crazy is that H. Money Bags kept messing up. He would run out of bars and Bleek or somebody else would have to jump in. He was wack. Jay never even put an H. Money Bags album out. After Jay dropped him, dude was on a couple of independent labels and that was it. All of that beef with Bags for nothing.
E was from a notorious crew from Queens known as the Young Guns. They were about that action. Then some members made the rap group Live Squad in the early 90's. RIP Stretch, Prodigy, E Money Bags and Troy!!
LEFRAK and Queens bridge was wild in the 90’s!! Everybody knew everybody. Every person named in this video was known by all. Even us young gunners at the time. QGTM!! LFC!! 57✊🏾✊🏿
Wow shit was so deep to learn that EMB was a complete strength of leadership in his area he certainly did not know that Coliseum in queens was Supreme Team area fuck pride moves on us in that time fuck I completely have a different perspective on LeFrak City EMB was not at all good shooting at God fuck I have mix feelings dude had big balls
I remember when all this was going down. Preme should have just given E the money back and the whole chain of events never happened. It's unfortunate my dude Jus had to die because of 1000 dollars. RIP Blackie.. You'll never be forgotten
Now that’s real shit! The ignorant shit we do in the streets makes no fucking sense it’s a bunch female raised boys who ever grow up and has female emotions dam near every so called tough guy was raised by a women and act just like one!
Thanks for doing the story on the real (E money bags) these youngsters think this fake rapper of today is the first money bags!!! But they don't know this money bags of today stole that name fam!
We almost at 100 k subs. This guy deserves a plaque on that wall.. he’s all about the details that make the art of storytelling JUICY! I just found this channel last night.
Alot of wild brothers came down south and we tore the streets up! I knew alot of ppl like Bagz. Monsters! North Carolina was crazy in the late 80s early 90s
The funny thing about this is Supreme did not give the money back as a way of saying he robbed the robber, Murder INC linked to Jay-Z, I mean a whole 6 degree of sepration type shit. I think Supreme also kept the lil 1000 dollars to play E Money bags as some lil nigga to him. I think it was just some real street issues and it spilled over to rap which brings in that Queens dynmanic. Great video
Keep up the good work bro!! But correction Sumner & Marcy are not 1 bock away it’s more of a couple of block or “down the block” type of distance….Tompkins projects is between the both of them. ✌🏽
When Black Just died, it hurt the whole hood. He was a good dude. The sad part is he didn’t have to die and would have most likely lived if Preme got him to the hospital fast enough. He was shot in the leg and bled out. Queens was on fire during the Preme /E Money Bags beef days.
@@brooklynisbetta No...You asked for a "tagged" car and Preme delivered. Once you get what you ask for it's yours. There ain't no I want my money back after you get the car. at the end of the day he bit off more than he could chew.
@@erich1308 ,,,,YOU'RE MISSING ONE FACTOR....E-MONEY BAGGS MADE A "DOWN PAYMENT" ON A TAGGED CAR THAT HE NEVER RECEIVED....E-MONEY BAGGS SAW ANOTHER CAR THAT CAUGHT HIS EYE AND THAT'S WHEN HE REQUESTED A REFUND FROM PREME

Escuché en otro vídeo que tuvo problemas con JAY Z, le amenazó y JAY Z estaba asustado... Pero no sé si será cierto 100%. Además yo soy español y no he estado ni he vivido en New York jamás. Simplemente recuerdo este suceso porque lo escuché en otro vídeo en el que hablaban de la vida de E MONEY BAGS.
Let this be a lesson learnt kids, jay z and most rappers rap about the life real street gangsters like e money bags supreme lives. Jay z understood you can’t do both! E money bags kept it all the way real jay z decided to be a business men and jay z is still here married a father and enjoying life! Don’t let keeping it real destroy you sometimes you have to be smart
@@hudrogers2326 king pin?? Jay z was running for top drug dealers. He was definitely in the streets. But he done the smartest thing… he left the streets alone completely and made 100% legal money!
As kid handling work for Supream Team I made my way in meeting a peer lefrak yo this young kids took it serious if green eyes Jermaine my dude influenced intelligence and leardship to me in them days we strive to make it out.
All these street dudes tied in together. It's too mixy lol. Bags lived in the same building as NORE, beefed with Jay z and Supreme, knew tupac, pac knew Haitian jack, Supreme and 50. Black just and rich porter. Like it's too many dots you can connect lol. That's why I stayed out the streets.
@@MrRetroswag Most of them wasn't popular. Knowing someone by recognizing them from around the way and actually being friends is completely different. Everyone knew who preem was, doesn't mean he knew them. If you go record at certain studios, you're guaranteed to run in to certain people. Nas wasn't even street like that, but he observed and reported other people's lifestyles. After fame, all of a sudden everyone knew everyone. It's mythology. 50 was one of the few that was out there. Don't confuse storytime rappers with the true ones living it. As you can see, the realer they were, the deader they became, or locked up 4 ever and a day.
Bags was on 111rd in Queens Village at a bbq sitting in his truck when he was killed. I know this because I had just left there. Big Stretch brother Maj introduced me to him literally minutes before he was killed telling him that I was the one who did his logo then asked me to get it. I heard the shots not too long after I walked off. I’d see Bags in the hood all the time with them from the early 90s till the day he died. He knew 2Pac through Big Stretch and the Live Squad. There’s videos of all of them together on RU-vid.
Bags would of been the bridge to end the beef with pac an mobb deep. Unfortunately things happened before anything could get sorted out. Rest in peace to all the greats, if all these man was alive, the rap game would be top tier business. 💯💯👊🏾
“I hung with E Money too the fucking truth!” -Nas “ I'm forgetting Lefty & Jazz, Pretty Tony & Lance, Head Lou, Mel Son, Troy and E Money Bags." -50 cent
Now if supreme would've just gave E. His Money Back Black Jus, probably Would still be Alive right now, and He'd Be free , and what made Supreme, think he was going to Carry E. Money, like that and it wasn't going to be any consequences behind it, Knowing his Reputation smh, and this is the same way i feel about the whole Beef between Alpo and Demencio, rip
@@bkit5 yeah I always felt that E. Robbing Irv and his People played a big part in why Preme carried Him like that and him being Jacked up off that Nose Candy like Glaze gibbs said that he was doing had him ( Preme) not thinking clearly on that one
I was a teenager, I went to the store and saw his Rip poster on Hancock and Stuyvesant Ave. Didn't know who he was but niggas was hurting for E money bagg!
It's Rap history bro. The White man used the word Hip-hop to take away from BM making Rap and Rap music. Personally I hate the word Hip Hop. The artist are Rappers not Hip Hoppers right ? Rap City, Rappers Delight the first commercial Rap song 1979
Supreme is no longer at ADX. He was downgraded to regular Federal Prison. McGriff began serving his life sentence at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison in Colorado. In 2011, he was transferred to the United States Penitentiary, Lee, a high-security federal prison in Pennington Gap, Virginia.[6] As of 2021, he is housed at USP McCreary in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Thank You for the break down and video and Jay Z is very disrespectful dude only seeking to use those who have that energy, flow and access once gains everybody loses King 👑
Bags also was very close to 50 Cent and Big Nose Troy and it was already friction with that situation. It's crazy how that Black Just thing played out cause Just was like a mentor to 50 even taught 50 how to box. Preme would end up putting hits on Troy, Bags and 50. FUN FACT: I got a family friend whose nephew from the Polo Grounds was one of the hittas on the E. Money Bags hit and the only one who ain't turn government witness. I admired Bags a lot so finding that out over a decade later was crazy to me.
@@paradiseplayer5103 That's how I felt being 16 around people so close to this situation. Bags was even around Pac when Pac was running around with Big Stretch and Majesty from over on Springfield in Queens. Bags knew Biggie also here's a clip of Biggie and Jay wit Bags. Just listen and look at the demeanor of BIG and Jay who were already stars. You would think Bags was the famous one. Long Live E. "I got a family friend whose nephew from Polo Grounds was one of the hittas on the E.Money Bags Hit" That's a fun fact to you? You just let the world know and the people that love Eric you know who killed him....Nothing fun about that.
@@keep_it_low_bro First of all I looked up to Bags coming up. Him and Baby J from Lincoln. I was a kid just getting started in the streets. Everybody knows who the killers were they all locked up. I also stated that I didn't find out that this friend was kin to one of the shooters til I posted a pic of Bags honoring his memory in 2021. Furthermore if you really read into my comments I'm showing how ironic it is that any of these guys were beefing because they was all connected in some way. Maybe fun fact was not the proper term but those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. LONG LIVE BAGS at the end of the daa. 🚫🧢🗽💪🏾🏴💯
This is real interesting simply for the differences between Jay's relationship to E Money Bags through his music compared to Nas. Somewhat parallels how Jay was more commercial while Nas stayed rooted and the music displays that
He was at a cookout at Majesty’s (Stretch’s brother) house. Prodigy said in his book that he went back in the house to make a plate of food, he was about to leave when they pulled up. He died with his gun in his hand. RIP to all the fallen soldiers.
@@shady3legend yea yup they found the video tape of the E Money Bags hit in Premes Crib here in Baltimore! Whoever Preme had hit E, that’s who he had film it too! And the fact he still had the tape at his crib, that tell u bro watched that shit frfr!! That’s some dark shit!! But I guess since E hit black Just, I guess Preme got it back in blood!!!
The real story is that he was set up by a girl which is true cause street dudes can move around without any problem once he arrived at the house the call was made he was over there you gotta remember when you hunt someone you watch their movement money bags was never in the same place twice so in order to get him he had to be set up.
I been trying to watch vids like this about preme, e money bags, and hommo, but I don't get past the first minute. Your vid is much better than others.
Nice vid g. I noticed you mentioned at 16:13 you weren’t sure if an incident took place with Irv & Ja with E Money Bags. There was, and Big Nose Troy was involved with it too. Pardon if someone else has commented something similar to this, too many comments to scroll through lol
Sauce MONEY WrotE "Missing YOU" FOR PUFFY SONG THATS DEDICATED TO BIG, BUT ANY I REMEMBER CLASSIC MIXTAPE D.J. ENVY FROM BREAKFAST CLUB, 50CENT, AND E MONEY BAGS HAD CLASSIC MIXTAPES BEFORE 50CENT GOT KILLED, CAME OUT 1998-1999 STILL GOT IT SOMEWHERE IN THE CUT, BUT DUDE WAS IIIIGGGGHHHHTTTT R.I.P E MONEY BAGS!!!!
TBH E-Money Bags was a marked man after that incident as much of a solid/stand up dude that he was with mad heart even he himself knew his fate was sealed after that stunt he pulled he died with da hammer in his hands real g ish!!... funny beginnings!!!....tragic endings!!!💯
True cause supreme was like The Godfather black just was made so preme wasn’t gonna let the killing slide word was preme had a hit team following e money for a week before they smoked him I know that wasn’t the end of the war when e money got killed
Knowing I have a hit out on me if I was e money I would of left know I would still been hanging around damn that I'm not afraid shh I'd be smart enough not to allow my self to be a easy target..
Dude was an idiot. He tried to kill the biggest kingpin in the city and then goes hang out at parties like nothing happened Doesn't matter how much heart you got if you cant use your head properly
@@katinawhitley9340 yea yup I heard he gave the hit team $20k to hunt him down, and they video taped him for a week straight, coulda hit him at night a few times but Preme wanted it done in daylight so he could record it clear on video! And that’s ultimately what got eem fucked too cuz they found the tape in the tape player at his apartment here in Baltimore!!
Supposedly Big Nose Troy robbed Ja for his chain.Being that,E.Money Bags and Big Nose Troy ran together, that added fuel to the fire.Plus,50 was cool with both of them.
Sauce Money did an interview with Vlad TV. He actually stepped in during the beef between E-Money Bags and Jay-Z over the rapper using the name H-Money Bags. E and Jay squashed the beef. Jay went at Prodigy after he called Jay out in an interview with The Source magazine. Jay had a line in Money Cash Hoes where he said, "New York has been soft since Snoop crushed the buildings", referring to the 1996 New York, New York video by Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound. Prodigy said that Jay was being a hypocrite, because he was silent during the East Coast / West Coast beef. Mobb Deep had done the answer record LA, LA with Capone N Noreaga and Tragedy Khadafi. They also released Drop A Gem On 'Em in response to Pac's Hit 'Em Up. Prodigy said in his book that E-Money Bags wanted a refund from Supreme on the $1,000 he put down on the discount luxury car, because Prodigy had just paid E for a beat he produced. Since E now had this money, he decided that he wanted to buy a Lincoln Navigator instead. I don't know if Supreme's connection with Murder Inc. is the reason why he refused to refund the money.
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
The Supreme Team was over by 1990. Pappy Mason, Brian Glaze Gibbs, etc., were all in prison. Supreme caught 10yrs in 85? & missed all the drama but was still hotter than a fly on pepper when he was released. Gone were the multi millions but Supreme was still a solid street dude that would get down for the crown & always will be.
