I'm from that era cypress hills housing projects was on fire leaving bodies everywhere. Police would even be afraid to come to cypress hills and pink houses. Queens was on fire a lot of queens hustles got Brooklyn dudes to come out there for security. It served a couple of purposes. One the Brooklyn dudes could move through queens without being know,2 ppl from out of the neighborhood could easily intimidated the locals and get out of dodge if...no when bodies add up. Growing up in those times it was no surprise to c dead men and women even dead mafioso in alleys, staircases,cars and lots in east new York, cypress or pink houses.We are the children of concrete and steel the children of bitter northern cold snow and sorrow.
