We have arguably not seen college protests like this since the 1960s. They are becoming more disruptive, more violent, and increasingly more extreme in their demands. So today, we are going to address some important questions…What is actually going on? Where is it actually taking place because it isn't just on University campuses? Why is it actually happening? And what, if anything, should be done about it?

I am Stunned. Here’s the problem at these universities. Columbia University has 36,000 students only 8800 are undergrads but 19001 are international students on F-1 Visas. That’s almost 53%! That’s totally ridiculous, it used to be the rule of thumb in international recruitment and admissions not to go over 12% of the campus being international. Columbia’s numbers used to be around 6 %. Those numbers jumped recently. That means the university has gotten dependent on international student money because they are full payers often in cash. They depend on that money for their cash flow. It always comes down to the money. Follow the money. Now if Biden would do his job, and not be so worried about getting the votes back, he would cut off their federal government grants and funds. They get a lot of money from our tax dollars. And they should start taxing big time their billion and sometimes trillion $$$ endowments. It’s ridiculous. These universities are like mega corporations - and they pretend they are socialists! Hypocrites!

I lived in Israel for a year in 2006 I have returned 5 times since. Since 2005 when Ariel Sharon FORCED and REMOVED 7,000 Jews who lived in Gaza Israel has been dealing with their Violent attacks in one form or another. I was surprised to see even then Israel would Star Flight Palestinian children with heart problems for life saving surgery. Palestinians with cancer received treatment in Jerusalem. First off Remember Gaza IS a CITY in Israel. Billions of dollars have gone to Gaza over the years and NOT ONE bomb shelter has been built for the women and children they claim to care about. Mayhar Tousi Tv posted a video of nothing but Palestinian men on the beach. With all the AID that has gone to Gaza they could be like Monaco and the French Riveria. Every single Christian needs to read the book of Obadiah (Torah Class) The Jews were the Palestinians because of The Romans IT'S historical fact. Land goes back to Abraham's time

I have said this as well. There is 25 miles of Mediterranean coastline which could be turned into a beautiful destination spot. The money generated from tourism alone could help the area thrive. But instead all the money which was poured into Gaza was used to build tunnels & buy weapons.

@user-cx1pb4bf9j 27 дней назад
I'm not sure about that it goes back to Abraham or specifically to descendants of Abraham, remember that the Hebrew fought and won the area from the Canaanites, Philistines...etc. Though I guess you can sort of say that in the fact the area was populated by the descendants of Shem or Sem. Technically, Israel regained the territory by fighting. They won, it's theirs. Hamas started the war and if they lose the land returns to Israel. Israel has tried for peace but Hamas won't have it. Israel sadly is in a position where as long as Hamas is in power they will know no peace and since Hamas has been in power for so long generations of Palestinians have been brainwashed to their way of thinking, this is why the surrounding Middle Eastern states won't let them across the border. Lebanon has enough problems with Hezbollah, they don't want Palestinians that w/Hamas leanings added to their troubles. It is not just the Christians that should read Obadiah but then most Christians are on Israel's side.

(3) If you fail to adhere to the two previous demands, you will be charged with trespassing and removed from campus to your new residence-jail.

Majority of that class has died from overdoses, or are working as bartenders, paying off a useless Art degree. I have no degree, a loving husband, 4 children and a tiny homestead. I've never been more fulfilled. Stop telling kids they need to know what they want to do with their lives by the time they are 18 years old. As a Eastern Europen, let me explain to you: a huge chunk of that fund is sent to these institutions with the express intension of funelling it back into election campaign (and the rest is "transit fee", aka, the actual funds which they get to keep for their "cooperation" in this scheme). Its basically a roundabout way to government fund the "correct" candidates. We here use "oligarchs" for this verysame purpose.

They literally ALWAYS do this. These are the very same people who protested with BLM, all while not giving two shits about any cop that had been killed. Sadly, it isn't human life they care about. It's "certain" lives, but not others. They also apparently know nothing about how war goes. War is ugly. Always has been. The reaction to the military operations in Gaza by Hamas and Palestine supporters is exactly the same as what you hear about the Crusades. They call them unprovoked attacks on peaceful Muslims, but in truth, just like the Crusades were a response to hundreds of years of violent invasions by Muslim forces, the operations in Gaza are a response to violence by Hamas. The protestors in the 1960's and 1970's were almost completely ignorant of the real issues behind the protests. I know I was -and I am sure I was equally arrogant as today's youth. I personally felt totally fooled and humiliated when I learned the truth about those issues. I won't be fooled again. That said I see two issues here. I see an issue with our boomer leaders trying relive their glory days vicariously through the young people who are blindly following a crowd paid for by enemies of the United States. I also see an issue wherein the majority of these ignorant young people have never actually been taught what is in our constitution. Worse still, corporate press have been corrupted and paid for by the WEF, Soros funded groups and Vanguard to name a few. While their arrogance is infuriating, their eventual destruction and humiliation will be sad to see and will likely be far worse than anything I felt when I learned the truth.

College reform: Only certain degrees are eligible for financial aid and the requirements for attaiing financial aid is higher, classroom attendance will be recorded for those receiving aid, minimum of 3.0 GPA or they must repay loan in full. GPA of 3.8 and higher the loans are reduced. Attaining a "society beneficial job" loan is forgiven. If investing in college and higher education is important for society, then the society should have a say in what is needed, how their money is "invested", and have oversight into the outcomes. Because what we are spending and what we are getting out is out of sync.

Their are so many better solution, starting with colleges exploitative cost for a piece of paper that has lost its value. 20 years ago a degree meant something, today it don't even get you at the front door at most jobs. Companies are cuttng employees in insane numbers, either cutting or replacing with low wage jobs overseas. The insane housing prices that have outdone the great depression. Stangnate wages with rising cost of living. Hell, McDonands have become so expensive that their primary customer, often low income individuals/families, are leaving due to their price hikes. Food pricing in general have taken a big hit, we are hungry, but big companies are buying out farming land to sell housing that no one can afford. Or even worst, building entire neighboorhoods that are rentals. American dream is dead. Taxes and debt are here to stay.

Not even one other famous oration they could speak about? I have a book on famous orations and MLKs letter ain't in it, lol. In psychology, first thing they spoke about was how to teach LGBT students. Again, wtf? Needless to say, my very conservative son quit. He said he couldn't sit through this BS and I didn't blame him.
