They only stopped taking new customers after Oct 2023. I'm an existing customer and have been using it daily since then. There is no exit or on ramp for GBP though.
Unfortunately, the UK is not a crypto friendly country... 😞 Trust me, this is only political reasons... Nothing to do with exchanges, or security of the users...
UK is dystopian and overregulated and so is the EU. They need to make rules that serve the people, not the oligarchs or the politicians or the gov, those come last after the people have been served.

@@jameskay428 went through a few where I get all set up just to get told not available to UK users. As for time wasted, admittedly that might be more down to my own personal pessimism. I just made a coinbase account yesterday but I'm trying to learn before I dive right it in.
@@jameskay428I recently tried a couple of apps then got alerts telling me that crypto trading wasn't available for new UK users. I have now joined coinbase and that has some available to me. I'm not a wealthy man and just want to give it a try and I don't expect to be a millionaire now, next month or ever really but maybe just a little at a time and hopefully make what I do have turn into just a little bit more.
Binanace doesn't take regulation seriously it has trouble in many many counties . Other companies don't seem to have any issues getting regulation in the UK or others .
There are a huge amount of exchanges that can no longer operate in the UK! Funnily enough the two biggest American exchanges Coinbase and Kraken are FCA approved. I'm sure it's because they are great and nothing to do with them being American....
Not sure why the case by BSV will prevent Binance from getting regulatory approval if they comply with all the requirements. If BSV wins every crypto can demand that they are listed on Binance.
I could be completely wrong, I was with Binance since 2021, extremely satisfied, now I can’t use it….but all issues with Binance started after FTX fiasco and Binance was first who pulled the trigger, FTX was loved by GG and many others and it looks to me as unforgettable….coincidence, speculation? be that as it may
@@mrjamesjordan1 I know that, but still Dubai been Emirati doesn't make them a country "on the paper". I know where you coming from, but it should be said UAE, or Dubai from UAE.
@@neilbevan6480 I don't know how they are still operating in the UK. They are not FCA approved and officially no exchange is allowed to offer UK customers futures. Maybe they have just flown under the radar but I can't see it lasting.
