“Most players in The Isle are oblivious and do not acknowledge something like a tiny cerato’s footsteps” I don’t consider myself a good player by any means, but whenever I play solo I constantly trip over my own footsteps as my anxiety convinces me that they are not my footsteps and that something is following me

Pro tip. Organs give more nutrition/bites if u drop and then eat them. They can also fill more diet slots if you need a duplicate for a certain diet combo. eating it whole gives less nutrients and the excess doesn't pass over to a second diet slot if its needed.

I've never had any luck starting a carnivore anywhere other than center. I end up starving. The exception is sometimes starting on the beach and eating turtles, but even then, the journey from there to center is a hungry one. AI just aren't reliable enough (or at least weren't in previous patches).

That was a fun video to watch! even if i did get interrupted many time while trying to watch it lol. For future reference, if you do ever get food stuck in your mouth, you can sprint and spam g until the game lets you bite. after that it is possible to eat and drink (although slightly tedious) and the food will eventually rot off your face.... eventually. an excellent challenge ^.^

My favorite strat as a group cerato is to run around them and charge bite without intending to hit them, makes em nervous and is also a pretty sick distraction method xD this was a very fun watch :D

So cool to see, that incredibly large pack of troodons was me. we hit you so many times with venom, i was trying to convince everyone else to follow you i was sure you were going to die but you just kept tanking everything also i hate to say it but i love 1 calling as troodon and just drawing in everything in a 20 mile radius

Just started this game. So far its been fun. My own Cera is a sub-adult. My 4th one and the only one to make it past its first state without another cera eating me.

I'm less than 5 minutes into your video and I just wanted to stop and say that I LOVE your narrating throughout this. It's almost like a story/guide with a realistic perspective of what you will inevitably come across in this game. I've been playing for the past month or so (both legacy and evrima) and I've tried at least half of all the dinos so far. Also, smart choice going with the Cerato. I would be camping every bush, and looting every bone and carcass until I reached full-growth lol. Oh, and thanks for the tip on the shallow sipping-spot! I noticed my fully-grown Deino had a hard time staying hidden there.. xD

No matter how much you are starving you never challange a stego bigger than you. Its takes too long and is too risky. Just use that time to find food or log off.

I'm watching this high and it's crazy. The narration makes it feel like I'm watching a actual movie of a dino just surviving and I am living for it.

As a relatively new player to Evrima, this is the only experience i know. I always spawn center because it's the only place i can navigate without falling of a cliff i didn't see because of the bushes. Only i have no idea where the shallow water is, so there is a 50/50 chance i'll be eaten every time i drink.I have no idea where i should go. And half the leftovers are poison, because i play omni and get sick from eating cerato leftovers. And 9/10 leftovers are from cerato's because they dominate center usually. And then when i finally survived into adulthood. I get stuck on a bush and killed by a small random pachy while i'm unable to defend myself or move at all. Or i die in some other stupid way like falling of a cliff. I have a love/hate relationship with this game. It's totally frustrating at times. But i keep playing it hoping i will do better next time.

The bile lock is inteded i think. The hole thing about cerato as said by the devs is that id you are in a corose and a cera is coming over you need to question if its actually that important. It's hole thing is that it poses a long term danger if you only brush past it much less if gou go for the death.

I like to sit on those rocks as a pteranodon and watch the fun begin

i don't find most the isle videos fun cuz most people don't do it in a good way but this was actually entertaining :) subbed. the video concept/style is nice

when i play a carni i always spawn center and often dont leave it its full with action and food and you dont get bored i dont know why ppl hate it to spawn there

Amazing video and challenge! :D One small tip i have for when youre fighting herbivores like stego and teno is use a bite on your baits. even if its at their tail. most of them use a tail slam/attack once they hear your bite out of instinct. even if youre a utah X)

You normally don’t kill fresh spawns?? I usually don’t kill a juvi that looks like they may have gotten the diets they wanted, but fresh spawns? Pssh, I don’t mind dying as a fresh spawn as long as it’s not the 5th time in a row, so I usually treat fresh spawns as free snacks!😁 Edit: oooo that stego was close to clocking you in the face before it dropped dead! That was an awesome fight.

I spawned as a stego baby cause i wanted to feel that powerful feeling of paranoia while surrounded by preds. Currently half way to juvi, still haven't been found. The raptor sounds are EVERYWHERE

eat organs on the ground and dont swallow them to make sure you get the full value of traits. sometimes u can only take 1 bite and sometimes 5. just depends on the size of the organ but for how small you were u definitely couldve gotten afew bites out of it

You should definitely add a keyboard overlay during a fight sometime. I'm shook that your dino wasn't just cutting around like an NFL running back during that stego fight, and I don't think I've seen any overlays out there

i grew a stego just to fight in center and no one wouid fight me, i didnt care if it was 2 or three carnos i just wanted to see how tough it was

I avoid center because i dont have a great computer and get around 5 - 10 fps when in center

I got on today to play for the first time in months and it was a new map. Couldnt find any schooling fish at all. Also health indicator was gone from tab menu

Lakes and global chat would solve these crowding problems. Everyone is just looking for someone to play or have fun. Global chat made people more hesitant to kill in Legacy because you had a chance to gain a companion.

One vs One against that Stego is one thing but two vs one with voice comms and neither of you were hungry at the start? I wouldn't have been too happy with it taking that long and then not being able to take advantage of the kill. Winner = Stego

I usually either don't spawn in Center, or if I do spawn in Center, I attempt to leave the area as quickly and stealthily as possible. The amount of deinos I've seen camping that center river for fresh spawn beipies is downright criminal. Especially since there's no way a fresh spawn beipi is in any way filling to a deino.

Center is best spawn as your small enough to get scraps to get your diet to 50% growth then run from the center.

It's so unfortunate that center is the only part of the map you csn hsve fun in. It feels a bit like path of titans at the moment where the only inhabited place is crater

What settings do you have in options to keep that 144 frames. Mine goes up to 90 then down a lot but not constant 144 I’m on a high end pc also.. shall I come to your discord and pm you ?

I'd play this game more if I could actually get into the servers. The long server queues are pretty painful, so I prefer PoT instead.

I would not suggest fighting a Stego. They can 1 shot a fully grown Carno and that dino has more HP than a Cerato. I would also suggest playing unofficial servers. Officials are hot garbage with tons of lag and rubber banding plus they have no rules.

You shouldn't worry about packs of raptors I've 4v1ed and won agenst them as the cera

What is the location on that shallow area to drink? I know it isn't the south part of the river, is it the west or east? I've been drinking out of the east river, but most of that seems to be deep enough to let a fully grown croc ambush in.
