I agree with you that AD is not ready for marriage. She and Chelsea look like the type who could fall in love with anyone who promise them love. She talked about Clay being a provider. I thought that could be an issue too. Clay is doing them both a favor by saying no. If she loves him enough, she would give him time. After all, they only dated for 6 weeks, unless she is looking for a provider.
When a man is t into you he will wait until it’s a good moment to say”I’m not ready to commit to you”Another words as he proposes and marries someone else does the girl get the hint he wasn’t into you girl.Move on.
Used AD like how his Daddy used him to increase his Cheating ability? The dad was dead wrong!! And Clay unfortunately was collateral damage. I agree with your take that he wants to settle down but I don't think he would know how because of what his dad did... I think it transformed his mental and emotional state of being... Clay had to lie to his mom for years. That's a lot!! I hope he gets the help he needs to get passed this and he deserves an apology from his dad. AD .... you're spot on.
Oh most definitely his dad needs to apologize for subjecting him to that! Parents don’t realize how their actions affect their children into their adulthood.
