I had a jack up and till a month ago. He died . He was 18 years old. I had him from 6 weeks old . He was my little boy. He was stuck to my right leg all those years. He followed me everywhere. At night time he would go out side for a pee as l left the back door open every nite. When he came back ,he always looked around the bedroom door to see that l was there. Then he would go straight back to bed. He just wanted to know l was there. If l was awake l would say hi stimp see you in the morning mate. I cry every day, l miss him so much, he was my little boy.
@ana-ek7ss there's a lot of truth to this. I'm not a big believer in things not seen, but there were a series of strange coincidences that made me believe my pup Kenny stayed around for a while after he passed.

My Jack Russell stares at me when we're in an elevator on our mobility scooter. I'll look down and she's looking up at me as the lift descends. I'll give her a pat and then we're off on another adventure.
I was going to say sometime. But majority of the time when my dog is just relaxing he would just sit or lay and stare at me for the longest time while i pretend im not noticing. We would have staring contest and he would win most of the time. Id tell him he's too obsessed with me. Honestly, he makes me very happy. Sometime he stop half way while hes chewing his bully stick and check on me to see if im still sitting around the room somewhere and if i catch him while hes staring we make eye contact and its just something in his eyes that shows me how much he love me.
I`ve occasionally watched the times when dogs were so much better at Human body language than people were at using ... Human body language. Dog trainers know this and use it for training. Recognizing and using body language in a social setting is a necessary skill when your brain isn`t set-up for vocalization and you want to stay in the pack.
@@bluecollarlit Haha thanks man! I was sort of joking around because she's a real sweetheart and smart as a whip. She's a Norwegian forest cat. Some days, I get home from working a 16 hour shift and am so tired I just take a quick shower, don't have the energy to even make anything to eat and pass out. My son says she licks my hair, face and neck then sleeps cuddled up to my back with her arm around my neck lol I love her just like any family member.

My old lab, who waa roughly 10 years old at the time, when I had to have my wisdom teeth surgically removed in my early twenties, and in excruciating pain as a result, constantly stared at me and wouldn't leave my side for three days, except to eat and go outside to do his business, but every time, he would hurry back in and come lay next to me on the couch and would never leave my side, not until I seemed a bit better to where I was able to get up and move around, but until then, he was right by my side. He was frankly one of the best dogs I ever had. I miss him to this day, and when I think of him, I wish I had a time machine just so I could go back and have one more day to spend with him.
It’s a blessing dogs are so cool I’m not religious but I always thought that if there was a God he or she was in a really good mood when they made dogs. I have never given dogs scraps at the table it’s so undignified. Dogs actually really like me without me having to bribe them.
oh, they can! Guess who found out I had cancer 3 years ago (gone now luckily!): my dog! She stepped on top of my stomach and I screamed "AAOO!!!" and pushed her away, then she did it again and again, until I realised there was something wrong and I went to the doctor. There is science now proving that dogs can actually smell cancer. Unbelievable
Dog stare at you because you are supposed to be the leader dog that gives directions to them. When you give no directions or create no order--- it confuses the heck out of the dog and they simply sit and look at you waiting to be told what to do

My lil rescue wants to be on my heels or my lap all the time. He decided after 3 days that I was his person. Lol, he is insecure, and I get that, but I don't like tripping over him every time I turn around. He's my heart, and I'm so happy that I'm his person. ❤❤❤❤

I have had my rescue Chihuahua/terrier since he was one year old. He is now six. 11 pounds of energy and love. He communicates by staring, talking to me, whining, pawing and standing near what he wants. He’s a very good communicator and has figured me out, and I him. He watches me intently looking for direction. He goes everywhere with me. The depth of feelings and connection I have with my little buddy amazes me.
Dogs are supernaturals.i had a jack russel and she were sterilized On the Thursday she were start getting a heavy swollen stomach.On the Friday before the Vet closes she came up to me with no emotions at all Just staring at me deep in my eyes and something told me with a spirit Please Dad Help me?? My dog stares into my eyes sometimes. I tell him how much I love him and he bounces like a puppy, then goes back and lays on the couch. He's 14 years old.
The reason my dog stares at me is because he wants treats. It's a long story but this dog would never look you in the eye and there is a game you can play using small pieces of treats to overcome that. Now it's not only a stare but mental telepathy - stare (saying give me treats, give me treats, give me treats). Other dogs may say something else but his main stare and he will hold this stare for very long periods of time.
My dog will sit with his head between his front legs on the arm of the couch watching me with those big beautiful eyes and I melt like butter in the hot sun
I'm retried and my BC is with me 24/7. She probably stares at me 10 hrs a day. If we aren't hiking, playing fetch or frisbee, or training she is sleeping or staring. Couldn't love her more.

Thank you for not making me feel bad for finding the behavior creepy. 😵💫 I love my Boston but he is a chronic starer. It bothers me, Ngl. It can go on for hours without a break. I'm an extreme introvert so having an audience 24hrs/day is kind of traumatizing for me. I love him, I take extremely good care of him, but the staring has crossed the line. I clicked on this video to see if I could understand him better and thankfully, now I do. I can show him different ways to communicate his needs and hopefully we can find a happy medium
The mutt is testing its rank in the hierarchy, THAT´S the reason, the only reason. As long as you stares back UNTIL the dog turns his head, he knows, that YOU are the leader of the paxk !!! As soon as you look away, he thinks, he is the boss. So NEVER turn away your head as long as your dog stares at you. Stare back until HE turns his head !!!
My staffy stares at me constantly just before dinner everytime everyday ...hypnotizing me with his eyes to make him his chicken dinner and no matter how hard i try to ignore him i just cant, i give in, he has hypnotic powers for sure

Pet sitting. There 1 a dogof the 4 dogs (A sweet do) that stares at me 24/7. He also follows me around like a shadow. The other dogs don’t do that. Does anyone freaking make a video that say it’s because they’re insecure. This is not a secure behavior. A dog that does this, staring at you 24/7 does not fit into aggressiveness, or for food EYC ETC ETC. It is not US normal in anyway. Seems there’s not one video that really addresses why a dog stares.

This is off the subject, but i live near Sacramento,Ca, and at the end of the year, before they clean the pools at recreation centers for kids, they allow dog's to come swim on a Saturday for 4 hours only 5 dollars to get in. Check to see if your city has that event. Pretty fun. Another random thing is i bought an RC car for my Husky and Jack Russell, and they love chasing it and great exercise. Yes, they'll bite at it, that's why i bought a used one, lol. Maybe even a drone.
My dog does that when ever I sleeping or waking up. She then licks my face before jumping off my bed wagging her tail to go bark at the what ever is outside.
Me and my dog play Crocodile Hunter with the kids and she’s so good about it. I’ll roll around on the ground with her using my Australian accent and her tail wags so much when we play.
