@@jkjk42898 thats cap go watch bleach every soul reaper is taught kido at the soul reaper academy whether youre proficient or not depends on your training, Kira and Hisagi are good examples of a soul reaper that does not only focus on sword play but kido as well, momo his a great kido user coz her zanpakto is kido based as well, to be kido master does not require high iq but instead proficiency of reiatsu control, like tesia and hachigen

I also think that Ichigo doesn’t really have that much affinity to Quincies overall. His struggle in the series laid mostly with hollows. He had an inner hollows that wanted to take over and a hollow killed his mother. Just as his hollows nature threatened his friends. His interactions with the arrancars gave him a larger view on hollows. They aren’t just stray creatures that need to be cut at first sight. He’d also want to protect them. During TYBW, Ichigo never deemed the sternritters to be a threat that needs to parish. He had already awakened his true powers and the Quincies were more of a distraction. He was focused solely on Yhwach.

If I’m being honest it’s less of a matter of who he decided to side with and more of a matter of who got to him first Think about it if the wandenrich got to ichigo first he would naturally side with them better yet if they had their own rukia like like character

@@kudosw2870 the vandenreich is a place in which people only have strength, hatred and resentment but nothing worth living for. Ichigo grew up 15 like a normal kid. They would have to kidnap and indoctrinate him from birth

Possible, but Kubo already confirmed that Ishida himself is special, so... Its likely the only reason Ichigo isnt a normal Quincy is his Hybrid nature. Beside, he never learned how to use his Quincy powers and he doesn't want to, nor does he have Talent for the "caster" type of abilities as shown all the way back during the Soul Society arc when everyone was training to get launched from a cannon.

@@FerunaLutelou Jugram and Yhwach were both 'special quincy' living at the same time, its not a there is only one special quincy at a time rule, as both were still around in some form or another when Uryu was born later. i think Ichigo and Uryu are a 'Matched' pair of power gifting Quincy, as it were just like Jugram and Yhwach.

@@fenriswolfq22 Yhwach was born MUCH earlier than Jugram, so while it's true that more than 1 special Quincy can exist at the same time, it's pretty clear they cant be born at the same time, there is a significant generational gap between them. Besides, while both Yhwach and Jugram are special in a similar way, it's pretty clear their power gifting works very differently. Yhwach engraves a letter upon a soul by using his own blood as a medium and can do this to ANYONE regardless of their spiritual race (confirmed by Kubo). Jugram just passively buffs other Quincy around him. While Ichigo and Ishida are DEFINITELY connected through Fate, I don't think they're both special in the same way as Yhwach and Jugram are. Ichigo is special SPECIFICALLY because he is an impossible child born DESPITE Fate. His immunity to Hollow Reiatsu is perfectly explainable by his birth. Ishida's immunity however doesn't have any explaination other than Kubo's "he's special" reply when asked how Ishida survived the Hueco Mundo arc despite being directly injured by the Arrancars/Hollow Reiatsu multiple times. Also, considering that Ishida is presented in multiple ways as opposite of Yhwach and Jugram, I don't think he's a power gifting Quincy either. I would argue he's more of a power draining one that never realised his true potential. We see the evidence of this as early as the Substitute Soulreaper arc during the Menos/Gillian "fight" where Ishida EASILY uses Ichigo's Reiatsu for his arrows. A feat that will only be repeated all the way in TYBW arc by Quilge Opie and only possible because of his Sternritter powers.

You don’t need to pad your argument with a bunch of lore that has no bearing on the basic argument that multiple ’special’ Quincy have been shown alive and well concurrent to each other, and it’s stated that even before yhwach was born there were sometimes unique Quincy born without the ability to manipulate environmental reishi (I suspect they were fullbringers as technically Yhwach should count as he seems to have the eyes of the soul king, or perhaps one eye/pupil to each half, who imbue energy into objects/people rather then draw it in) they were killed off by the Quincy themselves, its was chance or fate as it were that lead to him not getting killed off and surviving to find as yhwach puts it “My other half”. truly anything short of new scenes with new info arnt going to change anyone’s mind on there head canon….

Well folks, I'm gonna expand on my two cents here a little more. I think Uryu is special for an X factor that has little to do with his actual quincy abilities and he was special in this way since birth. Seeing as quincy abilities are strongly associated with blood, whether it be bloodlines or drinking Yhwach's blood, I don't think it has to do with his parents, but rather I think he probably bears a significant Reio fragment that didn't manifest a fullbring. (Seeing as Cour 3 of TYBW seems to be highlighting Uryu's eyes, it could be the optic nerve of the soul king.) Regardless, that rendered him passively immune to the Auswahlen by some effect. Ichigo is a quincy with little talent for gathering reishi (like Haschwalth) and the degree of strength that his friends have reached is not unlike Bazz B's growth. Ichigo also manifested the Almighty, if only for a moment, during Irazu Sando, something that only other 'special' quincy like Haschwalth and Yhwach have been seen using.

He does trains or spars all the time in the story. It's just always the basics or whatever his inner world shows him. The dominant portion of his soul is hollowfied and shinigami. He inherits but never learns the pure quincy stuff from his yhwach fragment. Probably ichibei's fault.

According to Ywach his quincy abilities were only awakened due to contact with Qilge's jail. He probably just had such a huge capacity for reishi that he acted like a vaccuum

It would be really cool if Ichigo in Hell arc will be capable to mix all his powers like Hikone did in CFYOW

Getsuga isnt a quincy technique, his father also has Getsuga. The only difference between then is that Engetsu is a fire type, so it launches a wave of fire. In fact, Ulquiorra literally compares Ichigo's Getsuga to a Cero, and Halibell's Cero looks and works similar to Ichigo's Getsuga (difference being that she has to form her Cero externally, then infuse her blade with it)
