Sousuke and Kisuke. I feel like Sousuke is just Kisuke's secret admirer since they were still children. Maybe Sousuke saw Kisuke doing an incredible thing as a child without Kisuke noticed. And Sousuke keeps on admiring and observing Kisuke afterwards.
Interesting to think about Unohana training her with her healing factor just spamming.. & what if her bankai is some kind of extreme opposite to healing- just like Unohana
I do hope that Kubo reveals some secrets regarding Urahara in the Final arc. Two birds one stone if Aizen's past is revealed as well since there's a connection between these two mysterious characters. I'm so hyped about Kubo's answer and wish to see it all revealed!
I've always wondered if their names (Kisuke, Sousuke) hinted at some connection, whether just thematically or perhaps something more tangible. With this answer, though, I think Kubo might have simply been saying that Aizen was aware of Urahara at that early point. It could mean that there was something special about Urahara's birth status (like, why was he just allowed to live in the Shihouin manor and hang around Yoruichi in his early years?)
Wow. This is getting crazy. - Are they related? Like brothers? - Are they the same person but they somehow split? - Is either of them a Zanpakutou Spirit and became a Shinigami? 😂😂
He didn't even know the truth of his real bankai and powers till TYBW. There's no way he had the time to think about Quincy techniques when he had to focus on reconnecting to Zangestu and learning enough of his new forged Zanpakuto's before the final battle.
Seriously , we really need 'turn back past the pendulum' to explore more details about Aizen and Uruhara cause it will be interesting to see. Aizen might already aware of Uruhara not only in academy but also in Rukongai. Cause by Kubo's answer before, Uruhara replicated Kirinji onsen and built multiples of them in rukongai. Obviously this will intrigued Aizen , who also love in research new things especially related to royal squad
Aizen's a monster...but that makes Urahara a demon. The only guy smarter, than the smartest guy in the room. He could have used his Bankai to forcibly remove the Hogyoku
It would be really cool if Aizen turned out to be the son of whoever is in charge of controlling hell. Since Yhwach is the son of the soul king and he became that powerful. I think it be great if they were opposites.
This is interesting. Kisuke said of Aizen, "who is this guy". That was after a mere lieutenant countered Tesai's kido. That's from turn back the pendulum.
I like how Kubo answered this one. He knows how to keep us wanting more (now he just has to deliver). With just a few words he adds several fascinating possibilities to both characters. Are they the same age? Was one a mentor or at least a "senpai" to the other? Were they rivals? How did their shared past effect their lives going forward? What if one convinced the other to become a shinigami? Why did they both - independently - gain knowledge of the true nature of Reio?
There are a number of easy ways that stark can be stronger than barragan: Lets just put the two of them to fight... Stark takes out his guns and barrangan also takes his death form as well and starts doing "respira" ... remember that respira is kind of a gas that propagates through space but it propagates at certain speed, now that attack has a range and it is clearly shorter than starks attack, besides, barragan's movements are considerably slower than starks, moreover, barragan lets say can produce an infinite amount of respira but at the same time starks can produce an infinite amount of ceros from his guns. And lets just say that the ceros can "age"... so in that regards barragan seems to have the upper hand... until you consider the rate that both can produce the attacks, lets just say that in an attrition war stark can produce double, tripple, ten times the number of cero attacks than the quantity of respira that barragan can produce, clearly the attacks from barragan will be outnumbered in front of stark to the point where he may be able to get a hit on barragan's actual body even if it is just for a second by exhausting/depleting barragan's coat.... Now lets talk about gran caida, barragan's signature weapon, this weapon was shown in the flashback from barragan's past, so it was not originated from when barragan was reborn as a arancar, however, although this weapon can increase barragan's range attack it is still slower than starks movements so stark still has the upper hand against barragan.... maybe stark may not be able to defeat completely destroy barragan, but surely he should be able to cause some damage while he still is clean, that is probably he got that level appointed by aizen
Aizen could be in the academy at the same time as Urahara or even sooner, I guess. I can see Aizen being a top notch student of his generation, while Kisuke is a lazy one but he can perform his skill on par with Aizen or even better when it comes to the test. I think they are acquaintance at best around that time, but I think both will notice similarity between themselves then decide not to speak about it.
I honestly think they are the opposite sides of a soul kings part...similar to the left and and right hand having opposing views I am thinking either eyes (probably a fragments) or brain I think it's most likely the brain but I noticed when either side I'd being manipulating, kubo focuses on the eyes....and I'm wondering if someone was to look at the Manga, if he focuses on the opposite eye of each other
I mean he HAS seen the soul king. So just like Aizen, Urahara had to be up there once and had to have seen it. I could see it. Senjumaru's Weaving is similar to Benehime's stitching.
Surprising yet not that much. Two of the top chess masters knowing each before a friendship is not that surprising given their similarities, drives and nuances. The key difference is that Kisuke is willing to create true and successful friendships be it with Yoruichi or Ichigo and company, while Aizen only sees his ambition/expendable pawns. Yes Urahara engages in similar behavior but it has no malicious intent and he only wants to save others.
I guess his answer is vague enough to not truly indicate if Aizen saw Kisuke as a potential rival or if he just knew OF him (due to Aizen simply keeping tabs on everyone in the soul society)
I kinda feel Kubo probably isn’t stoked to come back to a weekly schedule or even monthly schedule if he does come back to the manga (to how his health issues suffered in a weekly schedule). If we are lucky maybe he will do a one shot here or there that keeps the story going but who knows
I think hes taking his time. I wonder if he plans on working with the anime studio to have the books adapted as well to give himself even more time to make the manga. With the Success of the Final arc being so great and so loved by all I think everyone involved is realizing that this might be a cash cow. And if all the fans are so captivated they probably figure they can take their time slowly releasing everything. (But idk anything for sure Im just also sorta looking out for Kubo. And would prefer he not rush when it hurts his health)
I don't agree that he isn't gonna come to weekly or monthly manga again. I think kubo would go for monthly or if he is in good mood than he might go for weekly too. I don't think he will do that dropping one shot here and there stuff. He will either go for monthly or weekly I am preety sure cause he is pretty much done with cour 4 additional content.
I think he can go the same route as the mangaka of Tokyo ghoul,his current manga (choujin x) drops a new chapter any time he feels like it,its not the most ideal but I can see kubo doing it.
What?? TYBW was supposed to reveal Kisuke's past, but it got cut? Was it another thing that got cut because of Shonen's pressure and Kubo's sickness?? Where was this said please! Think there's a chance that consequently we'll get it in the TYBW anime?!
I kinda see it as Ichigo is an experiment that Aizen set up roadblocks to make him strong enough to challenge him. While for Kisuke he saw someone who could have rivalled his intellect (and he used Kisuke as a fall guy for his hollow experiments but arguably that ended up helping Kisuke live a quiet life outfit the Soul society laws and scrutiny)
I read the answer as indicting that Aizen himself saw Kisuke future potential and saw his future rival (arguably the only man who is as smart as him) and probably the only person (besides ichigo) who he actually respects as an equal (even if it’s not in pure strength). That’s just how I read the story and Kubo answer. I feel Kisuke is the “what if” version of Aizen who despite being able to rule the worlds would rather live in whatever Norm as currently Happening (while Aizen cannot accept the norm so will use his strength and intellect to change things).
@@Turquoise636 I'd argue that he is Azien's superior in scientific intelligence. But in other forms of intelligence such as manipulation, as well as understanding the psychology and behavioral tendencies of others, Urahara is lacking. Urahara did manage to ultimately seal Azien during battle, which can be attributed to long term planning and other forms of intelligence. But I wouldn't flat out lay a blanket statement that he is smarter than Azien. Just two sides of the same coin.
What u mean? Dude it's cannon, Aizen himself said that Kisuke is smarter than him. And for example Kisuke alone made what Aizen need help for (Hogyoku) and Kisuke's Hogyoku was superior to Aizen's as stated in the anime and manga. And take in fact that Aizen even added part of the soul king to his Hogyoku and yet it wasn't near Kisuke's. Everything is in the manga lol
@@bobkabangu4724 I've read the manga, the novels, and I'm up to date with the Hell Arc. What you just described is his scientific prowess and understanding of his creation. Nothing that you said proves that he is overall smarter than Azien in every aspect. What I'm attempting to explain is the differences in intelligence. If we are quoting feats then Azien planning Ichigo's upbringing and growth, managing to turn soul society against Urahara, and stealing and merging the Hogyoku would have never came to fruition vs an intellectually and strategically superior opponent that you claim Urahara to be. Once again, in some aspects of intelligence (which I feel most sources quote the scientific intelligence, such as the GOAT of the scientific divisions Captain) Hat & Clogs mops the floor with Azien. But in other aspects not so much.
I too agree that urahara and Aizen are parralels I think Aizen might have known about a guy his age dabling in shinigami sciences and took interest in him when they were younger And when urahara got a promotion in pendulum arc, he must've framed him so that urahara doesn't catch on to his experiments As a captain urahara would have followed up on leads and caught Aizen if left unchecked and Aizen kept experimenting
