It was a perfect move for Oh. She knew she wouldn't be able to grow emotionally as a supporting actress on that TV series. She took it as far as she could. She needed to continue her journey as a serious actress. Full length films were next for her. She was a great actress and now that she no longer was tied down with the series, she was able to totally commit to taking on better roles and eventually work her way into lead roles. You can't do that while working as a supporting actress to a TV series. 10 years is much more than enough time. She's ready to shine now!! Fantastic actress and a very beautiful woman!
@@narayastarks Thank God, for our sake, she made the decision to want to leave the tv series and commit to doing full length movies. Did you get a chance to see her in, Sidelines! What a funny picture and she has such a beautiful face. That is what stands out on her. She’s very unique. Beautiful eyes and some actors and actresses, really take to a camera, she’s one of them. She can steal a scene when she’s not even trying to. I hope she is able to get a nice juicy role that will make her shine. Too many lousy scripts can ruin an actor’s cache.
ITA. The first time I watched the series on Netflix I missed most of the humor by Sandra but when I binge-watched the series again Sandra's talent & humor were amazing and off the charts.
It's 2024 and I recently finished watching Grey's but after season 10, I can't continue watching it anymore after she left. Everything is not the same anymore. She's indeed the 'heart & spark' of the series. I really love Dr. Cristina Yang, she's my icon, my spirit & rolemodel. I really love her. I miss her so much. 🥺❤️ But knowing Sandra Oh's reason and when she made sure that Cristina had a proper deserving exit in the show, I'm just really grateful for that, she treasures her character the way that we treasure it too and I really do love her for that! I believe she made the right choice for the character. She's an intelligent woman, indeed. Sandra Oh is my legend. ❤ Now, I'm going to watch her other projects such as Killing Eve and her movies! 🥰
Probably not because she does not want to come back it would probably depend on the storyline, i have not watched killing eve but from what I know, it is also doing great so going back to GA, may be far from being possible. But I sa hoping she could go back just for the final episode.

As much as I loved her character (she was Grey's Anatomy for me) I am equally glad she has stepped up and is getting her due as she is just way too talented to be limited to only 1 famous role.
To be honest I don't think I will ever recover from Christina Yang Leaving Grey's Anatomy, I Just don't see myself watching Grey's Knowing Sandra Never wants to come back.🥲🥲🥲
