You know that the USSR placed satellites in orbit before the west. They had a LEO space station before the west. They built a 50 megatonnes nuke which dwarfs Castle Bravo at 15 megatonnes. The US would "allow" Saudi Arabia to put their dollars into the US Market. I'm pretty sure Saudi Arabians can buy stocks on the NYSE if they want, and they could do it before 1974 regardless of the deal. It's more like the US can't force Saudi Arabia to keep their oil money in US Banks anymore.

Commodities are priced in usd and countries were forced to keep usd on their books to purchase resources. Never heard if resources were being traded in anything else but usd. Do you have a link?

I also live in Saudi Arabia, and we have had numerous disadvantages due to the SAR being pegged to the USD, us has been exporting its inflation to us here in Saudi Arabia. Even though our economy is much stronger under the leadership of Mohammed bin salman but still we have record high inflation for no reason. Real estate prices are sky rocketing like crazy. I think it’s time Saudi leaves the dollar for good

The thing is, the dollars day as reserve currency are numbered. Its inevitable. It doesn't mean it wont exist ,by no means . For instance there was several centuries when the pound sterling was the reserve currency. Now it no longer is.

Pretty good explanation. The only thing I would possibly disagree on is the time factor. I don't think it will take 30 to 40 years for the US dollar to no longer be used internationally, but, that's only my opinion based on my view of things. Time will tell.

3 key points - 1. Saudi will not have to invest the money into the US economy. Guess where the money will go. 2. There is a new money transfer/trading system. Meaning trading don't need to buy US dollar to use the swift system. I do not know if I trust this new system and central banks.I remember in the 1990s central banks were selling gold like crazy when gold was under $300 an ounce.Now that gold is over $2,300 an ounce they are buying it like crazy.We went off the gold standard in 1971.I remember when I was a kid in the 1960s they used to talk about Fort Knox and the huge gold reserves the U.S..A. had back then.I think we still have a lot of gold reserves more than any other country.However,it is only a faction of what it once was.How come we do not hear anything about this?I would like to know more about this.

US has energy, technologies, food, military might, massive population and many more advantages. Imports will be more expensive if dollar weakens but this also means US businesses will have to produce as imports getting expensive. I don’t see disaster for US as long as businesses small and big can operate freely and INNOVATIONs going on within practical regulations and taxes that is not too high. If tax too high and regulations too complicated and costly to comply, and begins to see mega big tech and corporations moving their bases out of US, then that’s a sure sign for major decline of US in basically all areas. Yes, I agree with this video, alternative non dollar payment system is coming. It means your politicians cannot use sanctions over other countries as effectively as before. Sanctions imposed is to contain evil or not I don’t know. But more sanctions will push more nations to participate in alternative payment system faster. US elections is very very important. When you waffle and lie about what the original agreement was and downplay the effects... that's really kinda all that you had to say! I don't think people are going to interpret your video the way you are hoping :) That's a good thing. The way things have been done in this culture needs to be uprooted and overhauled. It is WEAK.

don't wait for the USD to go down any more- silver and gold are very good stores of wealth to protect yourself against dedollarisation and the the depreciation of the US dollar. Personally I'm also invested in agricultural land - just like Bill Gates - the folk that rule the world or are close to the rulers know what to invest in!!!!
