I'm from old Europe, and many of us have this idea, this feeling about Americans being our children from a cultural aspect. And children are raised to be better, achieve more and fulfill life. Well done! I am proud of you. ❤

Our family just moved here from the Spokane area 3-4 weeks ago. It's astonishing how much safer we feel as a family living in Idaho. I can take my kids to the park and not feel like I'm constantly looking over my shoulder (I still check my surroundings, but I don't feel as apprehensive as I did while living in WA). The parks are much cleaner, and there's always plenty of other families there too.

Spent a whole week in CDA in May, went to research myself. Wow!!! What a clean and safe and conservative place. Always was drawn to ID, but learned about CDA through your channel. I do intend to purchase in the CDA lake area and will be reaching out to you for sure. CDA made me appreciate living in Kern County CA, its rural and conservative, plagued by Commiefornia policies, but still remains friendly and conservative. God Bless man!

I’m in rural western Washington and my husband and I have always been self-sufficient; hunting, homeschooling our kids, enjoying the beauty of the area and just wishing to be left alone as tax paying citizens. However, our state and county governments are making this near impossible here. Our county even sent us a notice to turn in our neighbors when we see them committing an ‘environmental” offense. Our house will be on the market next month and we’ve already started searching in North Idaho - the true USA.

Truth. Just got back from three days looking around Coeur D'Alene - just a bunch of friendly people, the polar opposite of the people here in western WA. As walked around the parks and hiking trails the one thing that stuck out was no litter and didn't hear a bunch of young people cussing like it was normal conversation etiquette. The move east can't come soon enough......

Wow! So that’s been a thing for a long time. Where do you think it originated from? Do you think that sentiment grew from the ultra hardened mill workers, lumberjacks and miners watching wealthy, soft handed, smooth talking Californians come buy up their town and raise prices on everything? That’s something I never really thought about before. Interested to hear your thoughts.

I'm still in Southern California(behind enemy lines). I just went to the Dr. and had a good talk with him. Overall it seems that the insurance companies are moving everything to a digital database so AI will diagnose people and doctors will eventually lose their licenses if they try to go off of their experience. I know therapists will lose their licenses if they don't go along with children when they pretend and fantasize that they are something when they are not. Like when a girl says she's a boy or a tree. The same goes for schools. I know in the Boise area this is happening too. They are pretending there are a bunch of genders. I'm curious what's happening in Northern Idaho. BTW, did you know a bill passed called The Infrastructure Bill will allow the technology for a car to be able to turn itself off? They are requiring it to be installed by 2026. 19 Republicans who voted in favor of the bill. James Risch & Mike Crapo of Idaho both did.

Slowly you start changing computer backgrounds, cell phone backgrounds and photos around your house to beautiful images of Idaho. It’s now here idea that she came up with all on her own… Or maybe this was the plot in the movie Focus and won’t work at all. Or maybe it will… Anyway, let me know how it goes. I'm reading that Idaho is telling farmers that they can't use the water they need. Conserving... yet the rivers are full and Mountains still have snow. Is there truth to this?
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho 4 месяца назад
I personally feel this story is being blown way out of proportion. I’m not an expert in this topic but this is my understanding. Yes, down in southeast Idaho some farmers are being told to hold off on watering their crops. No I don’t think this is a conspiracy. Here’s why. There are two different types of water usage rights. Senior and junior. The junior water rights are only available for usage after the senior water right holders have exercised their usage rights. My understanding is the senior water right holders have used more than usual this year in combination with lower precipitation and snowpack the last few years lowering the water supply. So in order to not create a massive problem for everyone a law was put in to effect 10 years ago that would trigger if too much water was used. It would limit the junior water right holders usage rights. That’s why we’re seeing these stories on this issue. Now it sounds simple enough, use the water in the lakes and rivers because it’s there and food is important. But there are massive, long lasting effects from doing that and it is not a sustainable solution. We can say, Hey, the lakes and rivers are full, we have plenty of water.” But unless you have looked at the data and charts going back decades you really have no idea if it’s enough or not. Everything is interconnected so solving one problem with a quick fix always has an effect on something else. Our leadership isn’t new and they don’t have a track record of doing shady, conspiracy type things. This problem is complicated and I think we need to have a little faith they’re gonna figure it out.

I’m sorry, if I hear one more person say “I just moved here and I’m Conservative Christian” I’m going to scream. Idaho is the “you do you, I’ll do me, but if you need help let me know”. the problem is that most of the people moving here are bringing here all the problems they had in cali. at some point we have to realize that the problem may just be the people. i have lived here for a very long time. this idea that it is none of other people's business what i do is great in theory but our government in idaho is becoming more authoritarian every day. conservative? not if you actually understand what that is! corporate stooge? that is more like it. for example, suddenly, in this free state, cities cannot choose to regulate short term rentals that are severely damaging our towns. there are many more such authoritarian and stoogie dictates from the corrupt state bosses. the fact is that when you have monopoly of governance, you have disaster. the only real governance happens in balance in swing states and they are also the states who actually control our national politics. as soon as a state become either dem or republican, it goes to hell. now your government has monopoly and does not have to work for you which is the problem. that is why we call them public servants. just that with monopoly, that servant thing becomes a flag they wave to distract you while they pick your pockets clean.
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho 4 месяца назад
I don’t disagree with you on many of your points. Right now we’re living in a time where it’s hyper focused on the problems with no real practical solutions to fixing them. In comparison of state governance nationwide, Idaho is doing well enough that it’s drawing in 1000’s of people. There is no perfect government and like all systems that are overhauled regularly they become stale and rotted. I know that most Idahoans believe in the Live and Let Live philosophy so that’s the slogan we need Idahoans to have and with enough people holding that as a truth it’s more likely for them to vote with that mentality in mind. With that said, I don’t think we have a governance problem, we have worsening governance because of our voting problem. The power of our collectivism has been challenged and the value of our vote feels degraded more than ever. They’re either too dismissive of the power of their vote or attempting a sort of silent protest by not voting. And what’s worse, those who are voting vote for the people they’re told to vote for without any real research so we keep getting these radicals and corporate shills wrecking our communities. If we can just Make Voting Powerful Again we may still have a chance to change the course of this country without getting bloody in the streets. That’s my belief anyway.
@AlsanPine

@@LivingLifeNorthIdaho i agree 100%. the problem is that the people who are coming are increasingly not of the live and let live variety but low information hyper partisans who vote against everyone's benefit. i gave up on parties in the 70's when it became too obvious that they were only focused on gaining monopolies of power so they could benefit themselves instead of serving the people. we can blame the voters all we want, and i do quite a lot of that too, but with all the money going into pure lies, it is almost a full time occupation to educate one's self to recognize fact from fiction. as long as the parties mislead and manipulate everything, it is no wonder that majority of the citizens have opinions based on pure and provable bs! corporate takeover of everything is the problem and most people agree with that but then they fall for the partisan games that both parties play because they are both mostly owned by corporations. the few members who are not corporate stooges are constantly lied about by corporate media. we are a welfare state for the rich and the inequity of earnings between the rich few and the rest of us for the past 50yrs is the unarguable proof. cda area, kootenai county is going through the same thing that la county went through. i can't see much of the night sky anymore. look at the traffic. going from 13k to over 52k population in 30 or so years is just insane. yes, it is still beautiful here but our aquifer cannot handle the current population, never mind more growth. already many wells have dried up on the east side. a couple of dry years and our aquifer which is not an underground lake but an underground river will dry up. still we all act as if growth is an option. i predicted this in the 80's. mark my words. in the next 25yrs, we are going to have water shortage, major fire, major flood, major mud slide, and quite possibly volcanic and seismic activity not to mention other less probable but quite possible major disasters. i studied this area for my geo-physics research. you are young and will be here. i will be, thank God, long dead. you just remember this if you live through it. we have far surpassed the sustainable population in this county. mother nature is about to correct that short sited human folly.

Asked the guide to sell us one he said I have only one! It’s to fill my freezer at the end of the season! Boy was that a disappointment! But we left with 3 female elk and 2 deer between 4 of us!
