This scene caught me so off-guard when I first watched it. I had no idea if they’d have the guts to kill a character in that fashion, let alone _on-screen._ Even if she does come back, it’s still brutal as hell to watch. At the same time though, I love seeing Cookie Run get dark like this. Even if it does emotionally wreck me.
She's actually alive! You need to get more far into the Story and she's confirmed to be the next playable cookie its in the game in the crismon coral pass package image she's sitting with coral

for those wondering (spoilers): frilled jellyfish got revived near the end of the story, but she had a severe case of amnesia due to the fact she is indeed a jellyfish; dw my people shes okey dokey, if you count someone with their entire memories resetted as okey dokey
WHEN I DID THE STIRY I WAS IN THE VERGE OF *CRYING* REAL TEARS. The next thing I know I’m going on a homocide streak and killing everything and everyone I see in the story. But theoretically Jellyfish do live forever. There is this kind of Jellyfish that has the ability of rebirth and is immortal. It’s called the Turritopsis dohrnii 🤓. And Frilled Jellyfishes design oddly looks similar to that jellyfishes color scheme and shape 🤩. So maybe in the story they will implement that feature somehow… hopefully. Otherwise the Sea Hunters crew will have the deal with a legion of angry bees and the wrath of InFiNiTyBeE 😛✌️.
Seriously i gasped so hard when i heard the sound of her getting hurt- i had a feeling she would come back somehow but OW- it hit me right in the feels, especially with White Pearls voice acting.. AAUUGHHH 😭😭

I could imagine a follow up to this in the next anniversary event. Would be tragic for frilled jellyfish cookie to wake up and find her home in ruins. There might also be a bittersweet reunion between the two at the end.
Spoilers: Yea frilled jellyfish is not dead but she lost her memory because of abalone's first crewmate dude anchor and she's remenber a little bit of white pearl (abalone mid)

its actually true, jelly fishes live forever. after they are dying they will become baby again and continue the loop. so if frilled jelly fish cookie become playable. she would have second life which is U N F A I R.
