Slot doesn't rotate just for the sake of it, he never did. He will make tactical changes depending the opponent, he will swap players for performance reasons(as you have noticed), he will rest players if required and he'll swap after an hour or so if he thinks it is safe to do so. Also he won't bring new players just for the sake of it or to please some folks, he never did. Slot is used to a relative small squad of which half is sold after the season just to start all over again the next, this is how things go in NL. On top of that he got the specific task to improve the young players which is the opposite of buying just for the sake of buying like Chelsea and others do.
That being said, comes another question for Slot to be answered. He's never experienced the schedule he's about to face with English competitions plus CL. Maybe after that he'll know how many players he'll need to sustain a season in English Football competitively.
Let's face it. FSG is cheap when it comes to Liverpool and don't want to spend the money. Liverpool is one of the most successful teams in the world and bring in plenty of money. I am tired of people making excuses for the owners.
@@aftereight8341 that money was a loan from fsg to Liverpool which is being paid by the club revenue trust me they haven't put a penny into the club in years
What is your iq? Like do you genuinely believe that Endo is the second best cdm in world football after Zubimendi? Or is it Gravenberch who couldnt even start in the Bundesliga? Do you really believe that Diaz is good enough? A guy who created last season less big chances than Antony... Or do you really believe Robertson and Tsimikas are still good enough to be first team starters? Do you really believe there is no one in the world better than them?? Do you really believe that 3 cbs are enough after the display from Quansah against Ipswitch knowing how injury prone Konate is?
FSG is so cheap that they would rather hire people to put out these PSAs so they don't have to sign players. They aren't really cheap because I heard Henry and his gang bought a yacht.
@@AllRedShow People aren't as stupid as the average fan who can't see past FSG 'saving' the club from Hicks & Gillett, building a training centre and refurbishing Anfield and the one PL and one UCL win in fourteen seasons under FSG. It's cheaper to brief journalists that FSG are bidding £115m for Caicedo than to actually bid for him with the intention to sign him. How does anyone believe that spin when FSG were haggling for around a month with Southampton over a couple of million for Lavia?
arne slot perhaps has better assessment and data analytics of his own squad requirements and standards than any persons who always judge him need 4 6 9 10 11 etc roles.
Gomez could not even make our bench vs Ipswich. We have no room for backups and have enough depth. New signings have to be starting eleven level or better. That means we don't want trash. Zubimendi was offered triple the wages he is currently earning. Got nothing to do with not having money. The club has constantly said we will only sign players which fit the bill.
@@AllRedShow I don't claim to know everything but have done enough research to know that transfers are not based on signing players when you play FIFA, Championship manager or football manager. That is where our naive fans get this delusional narrative on how they think transfers deals are done. There is a reason why Gravenberch is on 150k a week and Luiz Diaz is on 55k a week. Our social media fans are clueless and know nothing and want random names/toys to join the club. Edwards was also brought back for a reason. Whoever was in charge before he came back should have had Trent tied up in a new deal last season already so it could be that FSG was not happy with the direction the club was going in and cleaned the house. Edwards was key to transforming how we did business in the transfer windows and now he is back. With the right people in place, it will ensure that we will not be caught with our pants down replacing Salah and VVD. As you can see, we are already paving the way for Alisson's departure. Keep the faith people and to all our naive and clueless social media fans foaming at the mouth, all of you are going to be put in your place and will have to change your tune.
Most of them are speaking out of ignorance. Just because they dont know what is happening behind the scene. Even these media gurus have nothing, just spreading fake news. @truthinplanesight
It would be a real surprised if Slot can win the league with this Liverpool team. I kind of a feeling that slotball can really do it. Then january we can really splash the cash to get 2 more worldclass player
Why would any club want to weaken themselves mid-season unless they are being offered ridiculous amounts of money, something FSG don't do (unless they sell Coutinho 🤣)?
@@cjewe1z it happens every winter mate ... contracts are 6 months closer to expiring, players can make it known they want LFC, etc. Lots of ways to get things done.
Ask the back o me sack!! You really think that this same squad who burned out in March of last year, absolutely fell off a cliff, can compete against a stronger City, Utd, Arsenal, Villa in the league and CL this year all because Slot makes us move the ball a little different? Get a grip! No signings means another Carabao Cup year and nothing else, not to mention, Trent, Virg and Salah are still leaving next year. It’s an absolute mess.
I absolutely think they can IF they avoid the injury crisis we had last season. Salah, Alisson, Trent, Robbo, Szobo, Jota … that’s over half of our starting XI down last year!! You think city or Arsenal could compete with injuries like that? Absolutely not.
The majority of Karius, Klavan, Chamberlain, Keita, Van Den Berg, Adrian, Davies, Ramsay, Carvalho, Nunez and Endo were signed under Edwards' (or Edwards' protege's) watch. All of them didn't work out, so I don't believe all that analytics spin that FSG put out through mofos like you. Plus, the jury is still out on Szoboszlai and Gravenberch. Bradley is world-class? It takes more than a breakout season to be world-class. You have to prove yourself consistently for at least two or three seasons at the top to be considered world-class. The fans were told that the FSG Slot Machine wanted to assess the squad before making a decision on transfers. Now, we've got an FSG RU-vid mouthpiece telling us that the idea is to get to January. What if there is an urgent need to sign a player in January like what happened in 2021 during the defensive crisis (and UCL qualification target was in jeopardy) or in 2023 during the midfield crisis (and UCL qualification target was missed) and there isn't a suitable player available?
@Allez.6CL, Liverpool were tipped for 4 trophies last season with a team that was just being put together, finish 3rd only because we run out of steam for the last few games, if Slot temper the intensity of the training n this this team gels with no r little injuries this team can n will win the league, jus wait n see this team is improving n have the right spirit to win, even without new signings.
FSG analytics is telling them that they have a decent chance of winning the Top-four trophy (qualifying for the UCL) and the Net Spend Champions League (well, City will most likely win that after selling Alvarez) . That's all they require. (Manchester United and Aston Villa may have something to say about that though.)
We was told if any signing would be August if any..... And Hughes as already made the club money and selling some of the youth Bobby Clark Carvliho Gomez Money back on Tottenham player Sepp we holden out for money on now got it for brenford All that is around 100m made I think January is a good idea I don't want us panic buying
Mate klopp gave them a whole year to prepare. Fsg has year after year promised to spend the next transfer window to address gaps in the team and every year they have an excuse and a tall tale. Reeling from covid, saving for kirby, saving for new anfield stand, saving for bellingham. Same shit every year. And the robots they hired are treating the footballers like ones and naughts on a computer screen.
What if this is the future of how football teams will be managed? What if Liverpool are on the verge of changing what “big clubs” do? What if we’re on the verge of something great?
@@AllRedShow moneyball happened in 2003. Spoiler, they didnt win anyhting even though they saved/made their owners a tonne of cash. Lfc worked because they had an elite man manager under klopp who told them no once in a while and treated the players with respect. Slot can be that, but until he wins something he cant tell them no. Hence we are about to see something ugly. Youth players being demotivated because they are treated like merchandise, a bunch of gaps in the squad will remain unfilled, legends will be discarded like yesterday’s newspaper, we will keep on not winning anything important, ticket prices will go up and the infuriating spin machine will go on like new labour on steroids
Not a single signing by a club not only in the England but also in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and Germany. What if we have 3 major injuries eg. Van Dyke, Sarah and Diaz? January would be too late. This owners spoke of rebuild last year - I'm still waiting for that rebuild. Let's get one thing straight - this club should be equipped to fight for every trophy. Not just to come 4th so that the following year we are still in the champ league which ensures money comes into the club and signing are not done. We always seem to be selling to get money to buy and sometimes we don't even buy.
The rebuild happened last summer mate. Maca, Szobo, Grav, and Endo. I agree we still need more reinforcements but I also see the trajectory and long term strategy here to spend wisely and sustainably. When has Liverpool ever been the club to just go out and make big purchases like city or Chelsea? We’re the biggest club in England but it’s not because we spend the most. It’s because our club has the deepest roots, the best supporters and a club culture that other clubs can only dream about. Money can’t buy that. That being said I’d buy Varela, Inacio and Bakayoko in a heartbeat if I were in charge.
@@AllRedShow That is not my understanding of a rebuild. We lost Milner, Henderson, Keita, Alex Chamberlain, Firming, Fabnono. We brought in the players you mentioned - To me it was only the brilliance of Koop and his staff that got us where we are. Koop probably got tired with this set up. You think he didn't want Bellingham in his team or MBabe. Of course I want us to be doing everything so that we don't transgress the Fair Play system. I think we do that but we don't want to spend an excessive amount because it affects the pockets of the owners. Therein lies the problem. These owners don't love football as do many of them. they LOVE the money they make out of it.
First of all, love all our players and the first team you named, so far so good, however, you just named at least 4 players in that B team that have either been sold or are on the for sell list by next Friday….our depth in our squad is now very concerning. It looks like FSG/Edwards are raising funds to buy a second team. No incomings, no contract renewals, no investment into LFC….. it’s not looking great at the moment. I completely understand why some supporters are in disarray over what’s happening right now. We all expected Edward’s/Hughes to have an impact on this transfer window, especially with a new manager coming in but, the opposite is happening. Being told only one player, who rates about a 7 in the players ranking for his position, is the only player that fits our style of play or squad, is simply ridiculous, I don’t believe that. I also think the only reason they are looking at a goal keeper, and they are struggling to get him over the line, is Allison has requested to leave, along with Kelleher also on the list of plays wanting to leave and is up for sell. So, our squad depth is not so ok as you might think. We all know what Nov/Dec even Jan can be like in the Premier league, along with Cup competitions and champions league and a new manager…it’s going to be along hard slog with our current crop of first team players, who have gone to the well for us sooo many times already, ….now, did I also mention ageing player & players with a history of injuries ? No😂recovery & rotation is going to stretch our current squad to the limit over this period, now you see what I mean. The next 7 days is going to be crucial for LFC and the whole new management team because supporters are also at their limit. All the podcasters & football channels can side step this issue all, they like but it’s the paying supporters that will rightly voice their opinions/anger. I’m personally ok with players leaving and getting more game time and opportunity, providing LFC have a plan to reinvest the money back into the squad and that’s currently not what’s unfolding/happening. Very disappointing so far. Oh and what happened to the very talented young player Rio from Chelsea ? Did they get him over the line?
Yea what are they doing?? They’re stacking cash reserves for something. I hope they know that draining Liverpool to purchase Bordeaux would cause major major backlash.
Looking at the B team, it gives me confidence that Arne Slot has a roster deep enough to compete in both the Champions and the league. For me, I'd like to see a reinforcement at CB and the all too elusive CDM. Adding those two pieces would make my season.
We don’t have Dimi Traoyre (spelling). That boy does have a champions league medal. Just shows what can be done with a good coach and a team that pulls together. Only world class player we had in that team was Stevie G. We now have probably 4 in this current team, Allison, Virg, Trent and Mo. Should be enough to be competitive this year without any signings
The club had the financial platform to bid £111m for a number 6 last summer and only spent £30m on Endo. They have recouped around £50m in sales this summer. My maths makes that a transfer budget of £130m?!
I don't get why fans keep blaming FSG. They don't have anything to do with the transfers. That is all down to Edwards & Hughes. If fans want Liverpool to face point deductions then FSG could just say hey here is £250M per season to spend. I'm not an FSG fan boy, but they made us a self sustainable club. I will disagree, that b team I would believe could challenge for top 5 or 6. There is a lot of quality in that team & some experienced players also. If players we go for decide they don't want to come to us I am asking the question why not. We are one of the top 5 clubs in the world so why are players choosing to go to other teams. Another point is we don't want players to come unless they have a desire to play for our awesome beloved team. If we go for a player they should be like hell yeah I'm coming & do everything they can to make that move happen. Great content once again. 97
this is exactly what I'm talking about!! FSG aren't scouting, in negotations or talking to slot about what he wants. They handed the keys over to Edwards. if anything, fans should be calling for his head if they hate what's going on.
5th???? Last season Brighton finished 11th with 48 points. You really believe that team is that much better than Brighton?? Brighton would beat that 5 0
Waiting for Jan? No one wants to sell mid season, prices are inflated. Its the month for desperation purchases. We will do what we dod last Jan - nothing. Or a couple if seasons ago a Ben Davies from a lower league.
Ah yeah, there's a certain amount that I would agree with you on. But no, Bradley and Gakpo are not world class. They both have the potential to be, absolutely, and 2 lovely young men who I really hope fulfill this. Overall we need a centre back. Sepp and Jarrell are not adequate cover, too inexperienced for a start. I hope we keep Gomez as he ticks most of the boxes for what we would be looking for anyway. An excellent ballplayer who can play across the back and defensive mid if necessary. He has also been a loyal and (mostly) reliable club servant, selfless. He has been mistake prone certainly but has really sharpened up in the last 2 seasons. And we sell him now as he enters his prime? I do hope not.
I love my reds,I believe in FSG I believed in Klopp and I want to believe in Slot. Slot inherited a very very strong team. A team that most people were thinking can win a quadruple and were in a title chase with a completely new midfield, which people don’t understand how crazy that was. A new midfield completely and you’re competing for the EPL but that was Klopp magic and I don’t know yet how much these players are will to fight for Slot. Liverpool fans are so freaking negative and pessimistic .
Maybe so, but it doesn't mean they're not right. We want to really challenge for the top honours, not be top 4 perennials - there's a difference in approach between the two.
How is it negative to demand more from our team. We missed out on 3 DMS (touchemeni, caiceido, Lavia and now Zubamendi). Maybe its our fault for being ambitious
Haven't heard so much BS in all my life! Fans like you is the reason why FSG get away with what they do. We haven't got a squad that could compete in a part-time pub league. Can't wait for the greedy, penny pinching, leeches to sell up and leave our club!! #FSG out!!!
The reason is totally valid. Our squad depth is great and it is one of the ways that we have seen gems like Eliotte, Bajcetic, Quansah, C Bradley and many other developped. Because their pathway to the first team is not blocked. I do believe despite not getting Zubimendi, (Ryan Gravenberch will be more than able to do the No.06 or get moulded into one. But i have looked at the data and followed Tyler Morton Closely. Morton will be the perfect hybrid player of a 6 and 8 and he will ultimately push Jones out. I think there 3 reasons why it was Zubimendi or no one else. - 1. Stefan Bajcetic is the likely king to that throne. Those who know will understand the high ceiling of Bajcetic. We have already seen what he can produced in EPL and against real madrid in CL at the age of 17 years. - 2. Zubimendi was ideal because well he is truly the no.02 after Rodri in that position and he is 25 years of age. Compared to Bajcetic who is now 19, he is 6 years his senior and Bajcetic would have been the perfect foil and understudy to learn, play under Zubi and reach the extremely high ceiling he can reach. 3. The last and final reason, Edwards, Hughes and Slot must have been glismes of Bajcetic magic. Imagine the kid was back after 18 months and Kloop threw him in the last 3 games of the season to seal out and see off the matches. Just imagine how highly he is rated. So if Gravenberch can do the job the first 6 -7 months of this season until Bajcetic returns to full fitness and optimal operating capacity, Liverpool will trust that Ryan Gravenberch, Bajcetic and Tyler morton are the future. We should stop getting into the hype of buying for the sake of buying. One position I think we should upgrade this window though purely because Sepp Van de Berg has been sold and J Gomez will likely leave as well and (Gomez and Konate) injury history is not good, is GONCALO INACIO. He is a must, only 22 years of age, would not be a back up as such just to sit on the bench. He is quality and flexible enough on that left hand side that he will provide VVD a breather (as VVD load and game management needs to be managed now due to his age and we shall need him at optimal level as we go deep into the season) and will rotate with Robertson (Like AKe and Guardiol) does. This will evenly distribute the load between Robbo/Inacio and Timiskas(who will be the true backup to both Inacio and Robbo). Also GInacio will provide quality cover and a better balance due to him being left footed compared to Joe Gomez.
These comments are insane. Liverpool need 3 players for the starting 11. I am genuinly shocked. Like what is your goal for next season? 4th and no trophies? I personally believe we will finish 5th. A few injuries and we are cooked. And certain players are just not good enough. Next season we wont have Salah, Van Dijk or Trent anymore. What are you happy about? Its not like we are going to sign any replacements. Also that "B Team" would get relegated. You are insane if you think it would finish 12th.. We wont win anything in the next 5 years. And I really dont understand how you can defend this garbage.
@@AllRedShow 2 seasons ago our first team lost to Brighton 3 0 and to Brentford 3 1. Now our second team is as good as them? We need a LB, DM, a Diaz replacement, a cb bench player and maybe another midfielder that can rotate. Its so over.
Also its uncertain time for players and therefore not a good time to add too many players creating more uncertainty. However a cdm and left sided defender in needed.
This didn't age well. Sepp and Stefan both leaving and Gomez possibly next - the depth getting thinner. Doak being the main backup for Salah is laughable. However, I do think you make some good points.
I rather we wait until January or in the summer next season, than overspend on panic expensive potential flops in the past like Aquilani, Balotelli, Benteke etc this season.
It's not necessary to make panic buys if you plan in advance. Wait. There is a plan in advance; spend the minimum to get the maximum, which is UCL revenue for FSG. It didn't work in 2023 though. And the way Manchester United and Aston Villa have strengthened it may not work this season, too. 🤣🤣🤣
@@cjewe1z Why spend more if you can extract the very best out of the almost unknown young players and the current squad that you already have. Unless there is certain required qualities lacked and therefore, which is why we need to buy. When needed, yes, we do signed premium for the likes of VVD and Ali with Coutinho's money before. Remember, we are not Real Madrid, Man City or even Chelsea. We don't have bundles of cash lying around the pitch waiting to be picked anytime. As for Chelsea, with more than £1 billion already out their bank account, what happened to their team now? Still unsettled as ever, already bloated squad and another 20 new players arrived and coaches changes every season. We don't need that.
Buying good players if coached right would not be throwing money in to the wind. As a top 5 biggest team in world football we yet again have to deal with FSG crying poverty. Sell to buy for a club of our size is embarrassing. Lfc commercially are a well oiled machine but yet again can afford to pay the money for players. It’s funny that we are renowned for penny pinching however expect teams interested in our players to pay full asking price. Seems a tad contradictory.
FSG are completely out of excuses. We accept what is essentially mediocrity far too much as fanbase. Do we need to finish 8th before ppl wake up? When LFC spend less than any T6 rival in the EPL, while not addressing squad needs, you obviously risk missing out not only titles but ALSO potentially Europe. There’s def no such thing as a certainty on signings but there is a certainty w/ our current players & we are wasting our world class players like Ali, Mo, VvD, Trent etc. Those are the players who win you titles, but they need 1-2 reinforcements. Morale is very important. LFC would have many more trophies under Klopp w/ more backing from owners. No one wants to spend like Chelsea but LFC earn 4th highest revenues itw. The money has always been there, unfortunately the ambition has NOT. FSG are wasting special talent every season. They should’ve sold club 2 yrs ago. Gakpo & Bradley world class? Mate…KDB is world class. Trent is world class. Cmon ppl.
I agree with all red....i think its not fair to buy new player when slot haven't see all perform week in week out and assess what he need.....i rather spent the money to renew contract for few importat player that left 1 year of contract like trent...and i will stick with FSG....we are a few club club that own by sporting group and im proud of that....
Just want to give a shout out to your daily content, thank you for all your work and edits to give us facts and not build on a FSG out movement, thank you all the way from South Africa
We've had a few dodgy signings over the last decade or so, such as Grujic, Markovic, Karius, Keita and Thiago (both injury riddled), as well as Balotelli, Charlie Adams, Rickie Lambert, and to a degree even Mignolet and Bogdan. I'm sure there are more, but Klopp's hit rate was exceptional when you consider the successes and where those successes took the club. The thing with signing someone for a club like ours is that the search for a player doesn't just stop at "how talented are they?". They delve deeper into their character, the character of their agent, are they party goers or home birds with settled relationships etc. If it was just about talent alone, we'd have signings by now I'm sure. Edwards etc go to long lengths to make sure that who they get will "mesh" with the club and its current squad. Think about how many times one of our players has hit the headlines for partying or gambling, it very rarely happens.
News flash: it is not The Owners money. Fans and commercial sponsors and TV companies (also fans money) spend money which goes to the club (not FSG). So yeah it is partially up to the fans.
When u go out and buy a RayBan, does it consider as still your money once the transaction was successfully paid? Football is a business. Though I do understand the sentimentality involved with supporting a sports club, it's still a business run by businessmen.
What FSG is doing is what the Glazers have been wanting do for years after Sir Alex Ferguson left Man UTD. The problem with the Glazers is they did not hire football people to run the club after Sir Alex Ferguson left.
@@Nite-owl Yes, the Glazers are more obsessed about finances at Man UTD. They put bankers in leadership roles at Man UTD. Also the way they bought Man UTD is worse too. They basically bought the club in debt. I mean they borrowed more money than they actually paid out of pocket to buy the club.
I’m no FSG out but Liverpool generate more revenue than both Arsenal and Chelsea yet we spend like a mid table club. I don’t want us spending for the sake of it but we have to back the new manager
And what if the strategy is just to be a money making machine own by people who don't really care about football and fans? I'm not speacially FSG in or out, but it seems like we are always trying to give ourselves faulse hopes regarding transfer business while nothing gets done. Because as Liverpool supporters we are probably some of the most loyal and protective of our beloved club, the owners take adavantage of the situation as they know we'll go on and still go to the games. Liverpool's in our hearts and we'll always be behind our club no atter what but a little present now and then from FSG would send a positve message because we still wanna win trophies
You have a couple of glaring issues with your B team Sepp is off to Brentford, Bajectic is off and so is Doak so the B team is then looking short of 3 players. We have to buy.
@AllRedShow rumours are Doak is going to be sold, Leicester and a few other are interested and Bajectic going out on loan, that's been on the cards all summer
Its all sunshine and rainbows until November hits. Then comes the injuries and they will come. It all goes to shit then. This season still might be fine. But, when next season 3 of our superstars leave we will have too much to do in a summer. I am not greedy and asking for a lot. 2 signings should suffice.
@@AllRedShow what is the plan, If I may ask. No signings as of now when we need a CB, CDM and and Backup RW. Next season, our Captain, VC and an all time great player leaves. How will you fill all these gaps in one summer?. Also, Alisson might leave.
@sunnyjain3939 everyone thinks VVD, Salah and Trent are leaving next summer. How about we wait a bit (because I think they’ll sign extensions) and then we can slate everyone who needs slating.
I like the optimism, but saying Bradley is world class might just be a tad bit premature. Also, it appears the transfer gaslighting the club and their media machine participate in is still working. The world "brilliant" can be applied to a lot of things, but not a team that fails for four straight summers to buy a quality CDM.
4 straight summer's? You reckon we need a CDM now? Consider the fact that we bought Szobo, Macca and Gravenberch in one window. Meanwhile, prior to that we've bought Diaz, main target for Spurs,. Gakpo and Nunez, main targets for Man U. Idiots like you keep speaking yet know nothing about how the club runs it's business. Keep complaining fellow. That is all what u do. I will still be here when our transfer policy pays of. Exactly like how I said Klopp will do us good, and similar idiots said he is a FSG apologist
We got 4th with an injury crisis a few years ago. That was when Van Dijk was injured for the season. Leicester City and Chelsea regret that season. That was when they could have taken 4th away from us.
@@Gadeberg90 Oh, yeah forgot Chelsea got the last UCL spot. Either way both clubs would be kicking themselves for not finishing above Liverpool that season.
@@OsAbliNgin911 Oh yeah they definitely should have. If I remember right Leicester was topping the league for most of that season and then totally fell off. And Chelsea I think were doing fine but not spectacular with Lampard. We were close to ending outside top 6, but then Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams helped stabilize the defence and Thiago came back from the injury caused by Richarlison in game 5. I am not sure what the story is this window. But to retain some perspective LFC’s recruitment has been crazy the last few years. Do you recall the 20/21 centre-back crisis, when Philips and Williams became cult heroes. Also the year when Klopp said “what kind of midfielders do we need ??!?? I have Naby, Ox etc”. I know fans love incoming transfers. But most of us are not asking for the earth. With a modicum of increased investment over the last few years Liverpool could have been vastly more successful. And I can only imagine that had we been so, commercial revenues would have been bigger too. So I do find it hard to understand FSG’s logic.
yea we could have probably won a few more things if another 100m was poured into the team. i'm not sure what the gameplan is but with guys like edwards and hughes at the helm we've got smart leadership. They might prove me wrong over time but i like where w'ere at.
@@AllRedShow a dodgy member of my family works for a car rental company and has met Edwards several times. FWIW he says Edwards is a badass that swears like a sailor. @agx502 I started reading this thinking you had some juicy transfer rumor haha. My mom’s cat was spayed last week and she overheard the vet saying Zubimendi is back on because he treated his dog for lice.

We forget the years Edouards years before klopp ohh how did the highly analytic guy do from 2012 to 2015 am sure we didn't sign anyone who wasn't a guaranteed success
It is always the general thought buying new players, but in our case, not really needed. We do have a great squad. If they stay healthy, we a chance to win trophies. Yes, it would nice. The market today is ridiculously expensive. Of course, when Liverpool are knocking on any door, the answer is going to be high money.
Trent, VvD, Salah and Alisson might leave next summer, Robertson look used and are getting older, Jota, Konate, Gomez and Bajcetic are injury prones. Also we already need players.. Next summer window could be a nightmare. With what money can so many players be replaced? We could end up as a mid table team within a couple of seasons..
FYI FSG are not worried about Liverpool. That is why they hired Michael Edwards. It is his job to give a crap about the club now. FSG basically gave him his dream job, so if he does not succeed along with Richard Hughes it makes FSG look like mugs.
@@AllRedShow It is the main reason Michael Edwards came back to Liverpool. He wanted more control, which he did not have when Klopp was at Liverpool. Other big clubs like Chelsea and Man UTD were interested in his services too.
Liverpool FSG lack ambition full stop. They make money even if we are mid table and for fans that’s unacceptable. Also probably why players keep refusing to come.
Tbh unpopular opinion but we have a pretty solid team and good depth. Its not a title challenging team but its good enough to be competitive. Not sure we should just go sign anyone.
Had to play kids last year, needing rusults from them ,unlike it should be for young ones,,and 7 players have left ,,,adds up to FSG being cheap ,slot walking alone
The answer: We're not Ch£l$s£a throwing money at every position like throwing Shat at the wall in the hope something will stick one day. The RIGHT player doesnt become available very often for the same reason, if they're good enough to become part of LFC starting 11 they're unlikely to be available in the first place. None issue. I'd rather see us give deserved playing time to youngsters than spend big on massive money panic buys flops like the Chelsea Ethos. No signings: no problem! Not a bad thing, as you say Slot doesnt necessarily know where or who he wants yet. CB & DM seem obvious, but then what do we know.. Slot will decide when he's come to his conclusion. Possibly one of the ONLY seasons when I'm not fazed by zero transfers. Slot hasnt had time yet to decide where and who needs improving. Keep the powder dry! Happy LFC fan here.
Yes!!! Excellent post here mate! agree with you - i'm not all that gutted with no transfers at this point. Slot's come in and I think he knows how to get the best out of each player and has a track record of developing youngsters.
We are far behind compared to all 19 rivals And The problems is the Americans owners they love money and don't want to spend on buying players.the best is for them to sell this club and go. Enough is Enough every is the same story that's why Klopp left the club.
I think that you're blind and have an ability to see the bigger picture. What makes you think that is a reality. You sorely underestimate the other teams in the EPL thinking that we can get away with this again
Thank you for a vid that is not the usual ranting about not signing anyone, and FSG being useless ! At the very least, it makes a refreshing change. But I think you also make some very good points. #1 - Lack of elite talents that fit the need and demonstrably strengthen an already very strong team and squad. This is a fair point for maybe one position (6) but certainly not for all our gaps (LCB/LB and RW being those nearest to DM in terms of priority), where we have clearly had no plan and consequently lost out on players who would have been perfect for these roles (Calafiori, Branthwaite and Huijsen would all have been perfect for the LCB/LB role; Williams, Kvaratskhelia would have been perfect for the RW role). We have palpably failed to have a plan in place across these positions. #2 - Keeping our powder dry for the January window. This is an absolutely smart suggestion ! It makes a lot of sense for the reasons you list - allowing Slot time over the first half of the season to see what his squad are like in action and better understand where we need to buy; allowing us time to build a transfer kitty ; letting us get through a hectic autumn schedule and see if injuries or loss of form lead us to change priorities. These are all great suggestions. I would add two more - (i) By leaving our shopping until Jan, we also align better with buying from the S/American market as their season finishes in Jan, which makes it much easier to then sign their players (so, for instance we could now go back for Andre). (ii) By delaying until Jan, we will know for sure where we stand with the contracts for VVD, TAA and Mo. If any of these are going, then we will have absolutely massive holes to fill before next season. Very interesting - so thanks for this vid !!
Szoboslai can play Salah's position on the RW too. I'm sure Jones is a wonderful person, I just don't think he's Liverpool quality. he would fit a west ham or a Tottenham or somewhere there, a rank or 2 below Liverpool.
Hilarious how FSG outers recognize that FSG have put us in position of being a top 5 club globally, a global icon, and yet call for their heads. Make it make sense.
We spent 200m last season. Those will have 1 year to aclimatise to epl…. This year they will cook the epl. Anyone we sign now will only be cooking next season.
What happens when grav struggles? How can you possibly think that Bajetic can step in in at that level. He only played 12 games 2 years ago! If you watched them at the end of the season playing the under21s he was nowhere near the pace for that side, let alone us stop with the nonesense@@AllRedShow
How do we get these players in the middle of the season, teams just don't give up their best players in the middle of the season!!! Ignorance! Times have changed. Your argument is outdated and not achievable and would be far more achievable in the summertime!
For me now Liverpool clearing the warehouse They getting rid of everyone who doesn't reach level After that process they want to bring players who match their own expectations. Liverpool won't be anymore called Kloop 2.0 or 3.0 project They making their own product and face of that product can't be seen as Kloop favourite. Salah will be out VVD will be out Trent might be out Allison might be out They making transformation and at this moment it's pretty obvious 🤷 They want to be associated with Liverpool trophies ( not because J Kloop left the club in great place) . They making decisions about future Liverpool shape...
@@AllRedShow I think before NEXT YEAR summer window will be closed We won't see anymore: Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez, Nat Phillips, Bajcetic, Endo, Seep van den Berg , Ben Doak , VVD, AB1 ( Trent might get new contract )
@@AllRedShow I beg your pardon.... what a tool I am. 😂😂 I'd just finished a night shift and wasn't paying attention.... thought you'd forgotten about him. Apologies
@@AllRedShow They've never backed any of our managers under FSG despite our success, earning 100's of millions but, come transfer day we haven't got a penny to spend! They will say there is no player in the world that could possible make our team better..we have no money so we must sell to buy..Our wages are too high..The grass is too green..Lame excuses after lame excuses we'll sign some youngster, give trent a new contract and FSG will say it's been a good transfer window. They are parasites and a cancer to our club and the sooner more Liverpool fans wake up to that conclusion the better!
