We're creating a community that's ALL LIVERPOOL, ALL THE TIME - It's ALL RED! I've been a Liverpool fan from the States since 2005 (right AFTER the miracle in Istanbul, painfully living through the Rafa years, Hodgeson, Kenny (still a legend), Rodgers and then ... AHHHH Klopp. What a run it's been in the last 8 years. And we go again. Join the community by hitting that subscribe button! Tons of content coming your way!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me to you for doing this stream. A big aplause from me 🙏 The more people complain about FSG the more I fight back and support them. I simply can't understand why anyone would/can complain about them doing it in a sustainable way. I also find it so ungrateful for everything they have done for the club, instead of buying overpriced players. The perfect examples of doing it the wrong way is Man Utd and Chelsea. The state of Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge is a disgrace of their heritage. Before Hicks and Gillett I never paid attention to who owned Liverpool FC. But I really deteste those two vultures and what they did to the club. What FSG then have done deserve all our praise and gratitude. ....and why would Michael Edwards and Julian Ward come back, if FSG were so bad. I would not come back to an employer I thought were bad. And Klopp could have left much earlier if he did't like them and/or thought they wouldn't support him. He could have gone to several different clubs who wanted him, but he didn't. There are so many other arguments proving FSG are great owners and excellent custodians of the club.
Fantastic points! I agree that Edwards wouldn’t have come back if FSG were to bad to work for. He clearly liked working for them so he came back when the door opened.
I think FSG have been decent in their ownership of the club. They have put money into the infrastructure of the club building a new state of the art training facilities, redeveloping the stadium & somewhat around the ground as well. Sure they have made mistakes. One thing they have definitely got right is, we are a self sustaining club. Something other clubs are now trying to copy to some degree. I think on transfers they could have been a bit more proactive in the past. Overall I think it has been a general success
I am forever grateful to them for saving my club from going into administration, but I have always said, if the ambition isn't there to go for the trophies, sell please. But with the new restructuring and everything of the FSG hierarchy, I can see an exciting time ahead. I hope they back Arne Slot properly. I know the Super League attempt has left a sour taste in many fans' mouths but not me. I'm glad we said no, but I honestly can't blame them. They are here to make money and that was a very lucrative prospect, but fans don't want it. and I know Tom Werner has been speaking about playing in New York and Dubai and Tokiyo, but lets not do that. Kenny Dalglish did a fantastic job. When he took over we were 19th at Christmas, we ended the season in 5th, we got into Europe and with the squad we had back then, that was a miracle.
Solid love. SOLID. rebuilt stadium and new training centre. The success on the pitch speaks for itself, as does the decision to hire the Boss and world class back office staff. Note as well that they have rebuilt the club to take advantage of marketing opportunities and have kept debt low. Also, Liverpool is not the place for a Middle East Oil Sheik to own an iconic club. Most importantly, I trust them. All of that is worth of my love.
Liverpool FC management are always too slow to buy players. Most of the times they are overtaken by other clubs even if they were the ones who identified a good player first. I want to urge them to change their approach this time around.
F$G are alright despite their mistakes with layoffs during the pandemic, ticket pricing and the worst thing they did was the stupor league BUT they corrected themselves and for this and all the smart business and the Anfield expansion you gotta respect them absolutely. Also compared to the lot of mostly greedy shite owners of most clubs, we're damn fortunate to have them with even better days of winning to come or at least they're giving fans the quality basis for hoping that the Slot era will bring us more silverware.
I totally trust FSG. They gave us what they said they would. Yes, they have made mistakes along the way, but they have listened to the fans and sorted things out. They could have sold us out long ago as our revenue grew healthier. But they didn't. They have built us a stadium to be proud of. Modernising, but keeping the heart and soul of Anfield intact. They saved us from disaster, they have placed us as one of the largest clubs in world football. What is not to like.
I have mixed feelings. On the plus side they gave us Klopp, the new stands and academy, and haven't put us in debt. But I don't think they backed Klopp enough and I think Edwards coming back who Klopp doesn't like and leaking negative stories about Klopp to his mates in the press (allegedly 🙄) leaves a sour taste. Henry seems like a cold fish who has no real love for the club either. I don't see us being successful under Slot so it will be interesting to see how FSG deal with things if that's the case.
How do you think Rodrygo’s playing style and strengths would complement or enhance Liverpool’s existing attacking options, particularly alongside players like Salah and Diaz?
Rodrygo's versatility, dribbling, and pace would complement Liverpool's attack alongside Salah and Diaz. His technical skills and ability to play on either wing or centrally provide tactical flexibility. At 23, his youthful energy and potential make him a valuable addition for both current and future success.
Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the biggest club in England. Klopp was a draw but Liverpool are still a massive club and a destination club for players.
Brazilians only fail at man utd. Fred and Antony are fresh examples. No Brazilian Liverpool has bought has failed at the club, Melo doesn't count, he was a loan. But if they rejected 120 million, we aren't buying this guy, there is no way, we need to bring in 4 players., 5 if we sell Salah or Diaz. Ait-Nouri, Calafiori, Ederson and Bakayoko would be my picks and if we sell Diaz then maybe we bring in some really big name, but not for more than 120, I doubt that.
I’d be very happy if we recruited those players. There are rumours today that Barca have received a huge bid from Saudi for Raphinha, maybe that would fund their interest in Diaz?
Hey matey! We can dream 😁😁😁. Does Bakayoko have more potential at a lower price? You mention rubbish Brazilians at Liverpool… I would say Arthur Melo and Doni (goalkeeper) fit into that category.
Yeah we've had some shit Brazilians 😅. Thankfully we don't remember much of them. And the good outweighs the bad. Speaking of Rodrygo, I like his versatility and goal threat from multiple positions. Possibly has that edge over Bakayoko. I haven't seen much of his games but from the RU-vid videos I watched it seems like he cuts inside a lot onto his left foot but I'm sure he probably doesn't do that all game. I'd have loved to see clips of him go on the outside sometimes and combine with other forwards. But If we do get Bakayoko I'd be over the moon. But would Liverpool really spend 120 million on Rodrygo or any player for that matter in the current climate? I'd like to know?😅
@@KayZenShoGun Totally agree. Rodrygo is more of the ‘finished article’ and Bakayoko’s development is a little unknown (but I have confidence). I just don’t think that FSG would sanction a move in the 100m+ unless Salah is sold for a ridiculous price. Even then I think Rodrygo has said many times he doesn’t want to leave Madrid.
Zero to none chance this happens. Liverpool are not an appealing club for the established elite, we should accept this by now. We’re a club who pick up a rough diamond and then turn them into elite players.
Very well said. We aren't a big elite club like Real Madrid, Barcelona or even Man U, nor can we pay wages like Chelsea or MC. We have also lost Klopp who was the main pull for the top players we did get. Nobody had heard of Slot until a few weeks ago, I can't see top players wanting to play for him, and the likes of Mo and Virgil are coming to the end of their careers, we aren't an attractive club to come to anymore.
I noticed you got less than 20 likes for this post ( as of writing) which is a shame. I'm enjoying your LFC content and the way you deep dive into related subjects. Keep plugging away I'm sure the likes will increase as the the new season gets closer. Where are you based in the U.S. And will you get to see them on their pre-season tour?
@@AllRedShow So how does an American from Phoenix Arizona come to be a Liverpool supporter? I’m from the south coast of England, more specifically, the seaside city of Brighton. And I get asked about my allegiance to Liverpool regularly. Short answer, distant relatives, parents were married there, and my dad took me to watch my first Liverpool match when I was knee high to a grasshopper (luckily I didn’t get trodden on… much).
@tonygreen3032 my story isn’t as deep as yours. My brothers and I played a video game in the early 2000s called winning 11 … I picked a team called Merseyside Red and fell in love with the captain on that team (Gerrard). It was our first intro to European football. And after that we started watching and got hooked. Unfortunately, my older brother latched onto North London Red (Arsenal) and now he’s an Arsenal fan all the way. That was 20+ years ago. Now we both have kids and are training up the next generation as proper football fans.
Bakayoko is a talent no doubt, but too one footed and for me also a bit too short, and I know MS is also short, but I feel for a modern winger we need someone like Williams. The guy has electric pace, is two footed and can play left or right wing.
Thought I’d let you know that I wasn’t subscribed before nor watched a video of yours but your video came onto my recommended page. Looks like whatever you are doing is working.
Another good list, regarding Bakayoko he didn't have a good game in Belgium 1st game, but obviously you need to see his performance over a season. By the way what you think of Lamine Jamal of Barcelona, he's under 20 with pace, good dribbling skills and plays on the RW.
I would sign John Bakayoko, stick him on the right wing, then play Salah as one of the 10s behind Nunez, assuming he goes with 4-2-3-1. I think Salah should be moved more centrally, maybe in the 10 behind Nunez like I said. he's getting older, so getting him closer to the goal is better. But I agree with you, unless Salah signs a new deal, I would sell him this summer.
Johan Bakayoko is my first choice too. Potent dribbler, looks like he scores goals and he's fast too. I'd have loved to see Mbeumo at Liverpool. He has a belligerence similar to Mane's that just makes life difficult for defenders. But he's more of a Klopp forward than a Slot winger. Likes to stay in the channels between full back and centre back instead of staying eide and isolating the fullback. Nico Williams salary demands are outrageous for a largely unproven 21 year old. Close to 150k already. He would have been okay otherwise.
Playing the right wing doesn’t mean automatically replacing Salah. Mo is likely shifting to the 10 position much like when he plays for Egypt, while pivoting to the right when needed. None of those players (while they are good) can produce what Mo has done!
