IMO Spider Curls are also one of the most effective bicep exercises for growth. Preferably standing spider curls, if you can find a gym that has a Spider Curl/reverse Preacher curl bench at a 90 degree angle.

I would say this is a good super set! Standing heavy dumbbell curls then lighten up the weight and burn out with the seated incline curl no exercise is superior then others they each have there time and place we just gotta pick and choose wisely just my 2 cents

Twice per week for most muscles, larger muscles. Could do 3x for smaller muscles like bi's, tri's, rear delts if you really wanted to...

I’m so glad these science dorks are getting pushback. I was in the comments to one of these pages and I had guys with 0 triceps arguing about the science behind building the long head and if the stretch elicits hypertrophy. They all had noodles for arms, skinny fat, and had been training for years.

I find it funny that he always says "they" have no muscle about science guys when a) they r natural (some of them) and b) they r pretty shredded and actually have muscle.. now i know he likes to talk shit about natty guys but i think he needs a wake up call cause the fact is if he was natural he wouldn't have half the muscle with all the injuries he's had they way he worked out. Now he's learned some things but it seems to me he still doesn't understand the reasons why he's had a hip replacement.. a shoulder replacement.. and yet he talks like the science guys don't actually know more than him.. having muscles doesn't always mean u know what u r doing pal.. it might just mean u move a lot of weight and take roids 🙂

I have a theory that seems to be working, but mixing up work outs and including the shitty variants and such is better than doing the exact same perfect optimal work-out each time. Your body adapts and just mixing it up is more beneficial than the increased activation with better work-outs. I'm a nobody and have nothing to prove it, but just going off my personal experience.

If you want your knees, hip, and shoulder replaced before 45, train like mike. The biggest benefit of science based training is longevity.

The way Mike trains isn't what led to his injuries. How he use to lift, throwing around ridiculous weight and just trying to lift heavier and heavier is what fawked him up

@N8_Dogg it has nothing to do with how he trains. It's his mentality towards other people. He's toxic to the bodybuilding world. The way he trains is perfectly fine. However, I haven't seen it lead to many results in anybody. Some of the things he says are out of line and you would know that if you understood exercise physiology, but clearly you dont.
