He's a very nice, humble guy. I had a brief conversation with him years ago, and complimented him on his American Gothic show. He was thankful and happy to hear it.
I had such a crush on him, watched Hardy Boys every week, bought every magazine he was in, made scrapbooks and posters on wall., He was just so cute , brought back great memories of teenage girl years
I too was star struck by Shaun Cassidy, in all he has done from the past till now. Rock On Shaun. My favorite song btw is "Memory Girl" 1989. as well as all others.
I do adore Shaun Cassidy .. even took my children to see him in Vancouver BC .. my daughter was 8 , my son was 10 .. and me - still very much enjoy listening to his music and sometimes the reruns of The Hardy Boys . Yes all people will go through the pain of somebody departs from our lives - but we can still listen to Shauns’ music and his humor . ❤
Glad to know that you're a fan of Shaun and were able to see him with your children! Thank you so much for sharing your life story. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
He's back out on tour. I saw him around Thanksgiving here in Fort Lauderdale. He still sounds great and has his nephew Cole Cassidy (Patrick's son) with him ❤🎉❤🎉
Oh what a crush I had on him. He had the good since to step away from what could take him down. So loved and missed, but he is still the whole package. Humble and kind his family comes first and foremost. Love this man. Hope his kids stay as down to earth as he has.
In Japan, "The Hardy Boys" started in 1979. At that time I was 10 years old. I have been a fan of his since then. Once I met Shaun in person in 1993. He performed "Blood Brothers"with his half brother, David. I am happy to get Shaun's activities on iPhone nowadays.🌹😍
I had posters both of Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson on my walls during my early teenage years. I had a major crush on Shaun. He's still as handsome now as he was back then.
They were really well done! In August 1977, I & my family, were at Universal Studios, on a tram tour, when the tour guide said that the Hardy Boys were shooting a scene in the nearby hotel! I attempted to jump off & see them, but was stopped! A few minutes later, the tour guide asked us to be quiet,as they were shooting a scene from a brand new show "The Incredible Hulk"! We got to see Bill Bixby, in a swamp, as he waited for the tram to pass! (It was the very first show!) Fun, but I still missed the "Boys"!
He is back on concert tours, so he's out there. He's also been on interview shows. Just he did a great job writing and prisuc8ng shows while being a family man.
I love his singing my favorite song is dance rock ‘n’ roll and hard to love. I also loved him on the Hardy boys and GH and then when he was coming up singing, he did a bunch of commercials at the time and then showed you where he was going to perform in concert on these beautiful commercialsthat I will always remember
Ahhh sweet. I loved this tribute to Shaun, seems like a really nice guy, hope he stays healthy and happy (and his family). I remember watching his dad Jack as always a snide, *sort of charming (*a thin lipped, fake sneer kind of charming), but definitely the narcissistic baddie in tv shows, like in the Colombo episodes, some of which are my favorite (along with the William Shatner episodes for some of the very same reasons), anyway, I remember the story of how Shaun's mom Shirley Jones was starstruck by Burt Lancaster as a kid and then miraculously became chosen for a role that made her a star in a movie alongside of Burt! ...in her first role!!! (see, positive thinking!!!! it works!!! ;), and then when she and Jack got together......I remember all that. and how he later died smoking in bed.....? I had read that her next husband Marty Ingels worshiped her - so am happy that it seems she was happily married later.......anyway, hard to lose a brother you love.........especially so young. Terrible for David how he grew up under his real dad Jack, apparently. I am sure this played into his drinking later on, God bless him. So hard on a kid not to have a dad's love and approval. Sorry if this is the way it happened, I hope David is at peace now and their families have recovered and are all doing well. God bless them all. So, stay positive! Be happy while we are here!
What I recall of "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew mysteries" was an episode where Shaun and Parker are on a plane in flight. Parker is upset and agitated, and Sean is annoyed with his attitude. When Shaun finally asks him what's wrong, Parker informs him that they'll soon be flying over the Bermuda Triangle ... and the Shaun instantly becomes just as agitated and upset as Parker!
Always enjoyed his music and because of his late start as a singer, never considered him a teenybopper, just a good pop singer. I am mighty impressed by his tv work though. New Amsterdam was kind of hard to follow, but it was solid due to Cassidy’s production and writing. Glad he is still doing things but in a quiet manner.
He was so yummy looking. I was one of the many teeny boppers who fawned over him. I loved his mom, too. She was my favorite tv mom starring in my all-time favorite tv show, The Partridge Family.
It is so easy to categorize Shaun Cassidy as “just another teen idol” whose fan base was mainly limited to the Tiger Beat audience of junior teens and preteens. But seriously, he was a very talented musician and his remake of “Da Doo Ron Ron” is definitely a true classic. He’s also a talented actor and producer who has wisely kept the film and music industry at enough of a distance to keep it from destroying him. Good for him!
Friends, Beautiful, beautiful, Ms. Shirley Jones is ALIVE & will turn 90 next month!! 6:40 FYI. . . . .Shauny & I worked at/for Saks Fifth Avenue, on Wilshire Blvd, when we were kids!!
@@FactsVerse ~~ Well, since you asked… DETROIT LEGEND SUZI QUATRO aka Learher Tuscadero would be awesome. The original ‘73 cast of SESAME STREET ( sans MR HOOPER)🙏~ I’ve seen Luis appear on Law & Order. I remember Morgan Freeman and his powerful voice on a show called The Electric Company ; that would be interesting. Jason Bateman was cynical and neurotic as a teenager on It’s Your Move but I don’t know how he got there. Love him. Toni Basil has an intriguing career and YT channel. Hard to fathom still dancing like she does. ❤️❤️❤️
Not sure why I clicked on this as I actually liked Shaun, but wasn't a crazed teenage fan like so many of my friends. However as of today 9/22/24 FYI SHIRLEY is still alive. Funny that your channel is named "Facts Verse" & yet you gave out wrong information???

@@FactsVerse this is my first time here, so I'm not familiar enough with the content to make any suggestions. I really enjoyed this one since I was hopelessly in love with Shaun Cassidy until I fell in love with KISS. 😄 I didn't follow his career and this is such a refreshing surprise that Shaun took a different path.
