I'm a writer who began my journey at the age of 16. Over the years, I've pondered how and when to publish my book, especially in Nigeria, where publication opportunities for young writers are limited. Discovering Amazon KDP through your video was a game-changer for me, presenting a valuable opportunity. I'm currently refining my writings with your guidance, enhancing both content and cover. While I haven't published any books on Amazon yet, I'm confident that with persistence and the grace of God, my future publications will be successful.
I'm also a Nigerian who is currently making atleast 4-5 figures from Amazon KDP. Just don't give up, and make sure you get proper mentorship. Also, don't expect your efforts to miraculously pay off if you don't put in the work. It takes dedication and hard work to succeed."
Sean, I’m going to join your program as soon as I get my projects back from my ghost writer. In the meantime, I’m loving your book reviews and I’m glad you included one of your student’s books because I think that’s a valuable testament to the value of your program. 😃
Got to be fake reviews. The book has been published just over a year so that's more than 1 review per day on average, which must mean multiple sales per say.
@@PixPete That's what I'm thinking. It feels so obvious, but that's why I want @SeanDollwet to respond to give his input. Him and his team I presume have seen it all, so it'd be good to get their honest feedback on it.
Hey Sean, thanks for your time putting this video together. A couple of qs: 1. Does Pubby work for UK KDP publishers? 2. Slightly worrying that last review had so so many 4.9 stars and the cover was amazing, but it wasn’t selling? What are your thoughts outside of your comments on kickstarting and Amazon Ads? 3. Separate from this video but do you have any views on why kdp is asking about A.I generated content? Thank you! 😊
Hi Sean, been following your videos and wanted to say THANK YOU! Also, I'm in the High Content Fiction Genre (300+pages in Horror Fiction) and am curious if your advice would translate to my genre of books. Do you have experience/data points to say that is viable? Thanks so much for your videos, very uplifting and informative. Kind regards
Hi Sean, This question is not directly related to kdp. Now countries such as croatia, hungary, malta, estonia, italy, greece and romania have announced that they are offering digital nomad visas up to two years. Can kdp publishers get those visas? I mean are they categorized as digital nomads? Also I am confused why almost every digital nomad target south east asia? Would like to know your opinion on that.
Thanks for these videos. It has help me to push more in improvement in my books. I create my covers and invest in learning how to illustrate them better ( I try fiverr and I haven’t found a person yet for covers. I can tell the stock photos ) is there a solution for that? This is for children book.
Question: is there a way to determine if the best selling books in each category are achieving that rank simply because of a huge advertising budget? In other words, is the game rigged to reward creators that spend lots of money, or is there an organic growth potential? I'm sure this is a basic question, but this is very new to me. Thank you.
Hi, Sean. I saw your videos and I wanted to follow your guides. But I have problem signing up in KDP because I am not a US resident. I already solve the problem with "getting paid" section but I don't understand the tax info part. Here in Malaysia not everyone need to pay tax (I'm not paying). So if I fill in the form (IRS Form W-8BEN), what does it mean? Should I fill in that form before I can join KDP?
Hi Sean, Great content as always. I am a little unclear about getting 30 to 50 reviews on Pubby in a month. I thought you have to read books to get reveiws. Even if we honestly read and review 20 to 40 books a month, won't Amazon find it suspicious, ie too many reviews in too short a time? I am always worried about Amazon's paranoia. Any ideas will help. Thanks.
I want to give away my book to people. Is it OK (from Amazon) if I make a post in my community Facebook page that I will give a free book if they consider leaving a review on Amazon?
Cause of all the people looking me up and saying my books aren’t selling so I must be a fake guru when 99% of my books are under a pen name. Got annoying so I changed the picture.
@@SeanDollwetThat makes me feel better about using a pen name. I'm going to see if you have a video on that subject, and if not, I hope you'll consider making one on pros/cons and anything else pertinent.
I really don't understand why you always demonize Canva. A good artist can make an amazing design on Canva and someone with no design skills can make a bad design in any app, including higher end apps like Photoshop or Illustrator. The tool doesn't matter, the skills do.
