I have an unusual question. Does Amazon position companies better than individuals as book authors? Can having a company on Amazon have a positive effect on the algorithm?
I don't know the algorithm but thinking it from business point of view, Amazon will always think for their profit. So no matter if the publisher is an individual or a company, as long as the book is selling well, Amazon will position it higher.

I am just wonder about this because true reviews are from real buyers and not from a website. Please, don't get me wrong. You are a great teacher. Great video as always Sean! Was wondering when you mentioned to improve the book title, how can we do it? KDP doesn't let us change the title once it's published..if we already have some sales and reviews will republishing the book with a new title affect it?

Hi Sean please help me out. I keep getting this message back on my coloring book. I used Book Bolt to format it. I have submitted this numerous times and keep getting this message. FYI I set it up as Bleed. Here is the message I keep getting. We checked your files and found issues you need to fix before your book can be published on KDP: Interior Add 0.125" (3.2 mm) to your book's page width and 0.25" (6.4 mm) to the page height to ensure that the images in your manuscript extend beyond the edge of the page. Once you have added the size, extend any images or backgrounds that you want to reach all the way to the edge of the page 0.125” (3.2 mm) beyond the trim line. This prevents manufacturing issues when the file is trimmed to size. See examples PDF page(s) 77, 79, 153, 155.
Since he hasn't responded I will since I have experience in publishing. A "bleed" means the picture runs to the very edge of the finished page. A margin will leave white space between the picture and the edge. In order to have the picture reach the edge you have to add a little tolerance to your page for the cutting during finishing to stay within the picture image and not show any white. They gave you a recommended bleed width and height to add to your image (3.2mm per width edge and 6.4mm for the height). This is simply done by enlarging your image so that it lies outside of the finished (or live) area by the required amount.

Hello Sean. I have a question about DRM (Digital Rights Management) for eBooks. There's a note in the KDP Amazon dashboard that I can click on the box should I want to enable DRM. However, when I tried clicking on it, it appears to be disabled, thus I could not actually put a check on it to have it enabled. Any idea if this is no longer working? THANKS!
hi Sean, i have a similar book to the herbal book you reviewed but amazon say i can't run ads so i assume they can't either? Due to herbal remedies making claims to help any health issue. Any ideas on ways around this?
A note about the herbal books. A fair number of these were created by hijacking’s similar books and having CHAT rewrite it. I wrote two books on family preparedness and this happened to both of them. It sucks when you spend 3 years on a book and then you find a clone on Amazon. For something involving medical care, an author has to have the right credentials and training or the book won’t sell.
