the big problem with nac and big pharma is theres no MONEY to be made nac is cheap to produce they say it hasnt been properly tested, but when you say nor was the covid vax tested they suddenly go deaf...nac cured my 60yrs of asthma in a fortnight
I had Covid last year. I had shortness of breath which seemed isolated to upper lobes and trachea seemed like i couldn’t breathe. I started taking NAC 1 tab per day then realized the dose for Covid was 4 tabs. After 3 days the shortness of breath was GONE!!!! And so was my cardiac arrhythmia
That's why they limited it. Glad your allergic response to the spike proteins was stopped in time. Many serious and open doctors are talking of the "C" as an allergic reaction to the proteins, not a "virus", and treating it just fine.
yes & on a budget it's hard to know to which supplements you should invest in the most, reading the other day that taking vitamins doesn't prolong most peoples lives? We don't know which ones we need & are or are not getting in our diets, but I know I don't get enough Vit D so I supplement.
Is she on any other medication? My mom is 80 and I thought this might be good for her, but she takes several medications. I think the Blood pressure med. is the one to worry about.
I'm a 75 y.o. male with lung damage from decades of smoking. I take 1 gram of NAC 1/2 hour before WITH 1 Gram of Glycine which enhances the NAC effect. Really helps with the breathing.
Unknowing of all benefits, I was using NAC for the past 3 years, someone just recommended it, just to support my lungs as I was a heavy smoker and had regular cough, I didn't realise that it not only eliminated my cough but potentially saved my life ...just perfect timing.

After having COVID twice and each time having complications during and after (lungs) I started taking it. Last October I caught just a cold and developed bronchitis. I’m “just” 43 yo but I had enough. I started taking NAC 1000mg daily. I feel great!
Im 58 not jabbed have been exposed to Covid so many times I cant count the last time was two weeks ago...If I ever get sick its Bronchitis the last time was back in 2019 not a sniffle since...I use Zinc Vit C D Quercetin NAC have for 4 years with breaks in between....My family call me teflon I cant seem to catch CV lol....Oh and I was a smoker for the last 10 years gave up two months ago
I read a study indicating that smoking seemed to have a protective effect when it came to Covid. Might be outrageous to admit this, but whenever I've felt a tickle at the back of my throat like a cold or winter bug approaching, for the last 20 years, I've always found that a cigarette makes it go away. Not recommending anyone develops a heavy habit, but it does seem to see off a lot of viruses.
I found out about NAC some years ago from a respiratory health forum and started taking it as soon as I get a virus that gets on my chest. It really does help.
N-Acetylcysteine is given orally in large doses for acetaminophen (Tylenol) overdoses. That was its primary use when I worked as a hospital pharmacist 15 years ago. Didn't see much respiratory use anymore back then. Thanks for the information.
Allergy congestion, coughing followed by snotty and runny nose, I take one NAC and one Quercetine and bam, 45 minutes later, no more congestion for almost a half day. Maybe a bad pollen day, windy, 8 hours duration. If I am outside, windy, cold, I add a pill of Bromelain that Quercetine invariably comes with, but another big dose pill helps and I am good to go.
@@Fian_so- the NAC used for overdose in hospital is in an injectible form, but other than being suspeneded in the injectible carrier solution, is the same compound as in the pills. (Pills having other inactive ingredients sometimes too.)
Watch out taking ALA as it chelates mercury and redistributes it. There is a therapy where you take it frequently three day in a row weekly starting with low doses. Andy Cutler therapy. Clears out the mercury slowly. Have to get rid of the mercury fillings first though.
Thank you for the in depth discussion of NAC. I've been taking 1000 mg capsules for six weeks and I can't believe how much clearer my lungs are. The expensive inhalers I had tried didn't help, but now I no longer have a productive cough. I too became interested in NAC when they shadow-banned it during the "pandemic".

I have been fighting a cytokine storm for three days. So I learned about NAC, glutathione, and Vitamin D3. It's been about thirty minutes and I've stopped coughing, stopped the severe runny nose, and I'm starting to feel much better. You're a brilliant teacher. Thank you.❤

Very informative!! Many people assume taking NAC makes glutathione but don't even realize they need sufficient quantities of glycine and glutamine and are totally unaware of the genetic MTHFR issue - and those are the people that REALLY need glutathione and suffer with chronic toxicity.
I take NAC at night before bed and sometimes if I wake up at night from liver discomfort. I have tried taking glycine at night as it helps me with sleep but I get liver discomfort from that and also from collegen powder. Could I have a genetic problem that is stopping me from processing the glycine properly as I can't find info anywhere of this happening to other people?
do you take any food (especially protein) when taking the NAC? It can cause stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach. Try that first. Glutamine may be low too and that was a game changer for me - I was detoxing like CRAZY after that lol.@@hamishdonaldson9291
Dirty Genes Book! MTHFR is only one of 7. Or search the dirty super 7 genes. DAO is a real nasty if off the rails too (histamine exit) THEN there is COMT... and more.
@@hamishdonaldson9291 are you able to do castor oil packs for your liver? I'm not informed about that particular genetic mutation, other than I think maybe folate is bad for it. But it does sound like your liver is possibly being overtaxed. I would look into the mutation and the liver, for sure. And do things to support liver healing, like castor oil packs.
there are multiple studies around that. one also showing glycine as a rate limiting factor as well. so if you supplement glycine, glutathione level is increasing as well. and because glycine is needed for a lot of other things too, like collagen synthesis, i take glycine and nac with a ratio of about 5 to one.
I havent been sick for more than half a day since taking NAC for around 1 year now, pretty amazing stuff, used to have chronic bronchitis and would get sick if i came with 30ft of someone with a sniffle.

I have been taking NAC for about 2 months and now I can feel the energy of the ancient Sumerian Gods coursing through my veins, giving me the sense that I can bend steel, levitate and or fly on command, run faster than Bolt and push a freight train out of my way all while breathing so much better than before. Is that a normal side effect?
I am guessing that when you talk about a genetic problem in the liver in making glutathione, you’re talking about the MTHFR? Several members in our family have that, so they would need to take glutathione. This is very helpful!
I have MTHFR and I take NAC and C together. It helps to get a good sweat going a few times a week. I take hot steam baths regularly and it's a game changer. ❤ Sometimes I take the NAC and C before my hot bath and then take charcoal after to absorb all the toxins that have stirred up during the sweat. I feel so much better afterwards.
My understanding of the MTHFR gene mutation is it's a problem with methylation and basically results in low folate levels and high homocysteine levels.
Great content! I’ve heard it’s good to occasionally give NAC a break . And for some of us who don’t methylate efficiently, taking glutathione is better.
I'm never without NAC. 6-7 years ago I had bacterial pneumonia. Got that cleared but the producing cough persisted even after a month. Once my naturopath put me on NAC, the cough was gone within 5 days. I have been taking NAC since then. I tell everyone to take it. That and black seed oil. Now my naturpath has me up to 1600mg a day to help with my liver and free radicals.
Really good video. I have one suggestion. The 3 amino acids that make up glutathione are cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid. Glutamine converts into glutamic acid and GABA, but it’s not part of glutathione chemistry.
I have COPD and have been taking 600mg tablet daily as recommended by my hospital doctor to combat excessive mucus. Did I hear you say that it can also be taken via nebuliser or similar to give a better outcome, and in what form would it be. Loved your concise, but detailed explanation in this video and have subscribed. Many thanks - Geoff
. I am hypothyroid and I became very sensitive to foaming agents in shampoos, toothpastes and fluoride. The latter would make my gums swell up and my face would become puffy. However, since taking NAC I can now use toothpaste with fluoride in. That being said, I still need to use a SLS free shampoo or I need up with contact dermatitis. Very strange! I believe the glycine and NAC have helped me sleep throughout the night, I now get 4 hours sleep without waking up rather than waking up every hour on the hour. I also fall back to sleep and managed a further 2 to 3 hours....it's been a god send!
Indeed change toothpaste. The fluoride in it is a byproduct that comes from the aluminum industry and it's a neurotoxin. It calcifies the pineal gland (that makes melatonin for sleep among other things).
Flouride also messes with the thyroid gland. get it out of your diet - water, toothpaste!! The pineal gland does many things....one of them is producing growth hormone....use water without Flouride. Europe completely bans Flouride and has for decades. In North America almost every water supply has it. see if you can find a documentary about Flouride. I remember watching one years ago and when Flouride was put in the water at a city water treatment plant the workers had to wear a hazmat suit and when it hit the concrete it began to dissolve it.
Sorry but that toothpaste is bad for you so is fouride in water get a jug and use a filter mouth wash is a nono listerine isnt good and you can get a soft brush clean tong to help also use tongue scraper n rinse filterd water no amagamen fillings ,and n no root canals as they cause lots of trouble and costs to get out once done

Is nac also healthy for people who dont tolerate histamine very well? Nac leads to histamine reactions and therefore inflammation? If it is not good: is it better or healthy again if you combine it with an antihistaminicum like citirizin?
Dr. Anderson thanks for the your valuable opinion about NAC. It sure is a very important amino acid and the rate limiter and effecter of our formation of Glutathione.
He understates the benefits of glutathione. I remember an article on ageing using worms, out of Italy. I cannot find it again. They said it doubled the life of worms and as we age, glutathione production wanes and that everyone over 50 should be taking NAC. Also it is like a super detoxifier in the cell. When lacking the cell function is reduced, along with lifespan. Another therapy is glutathione IV with hyperbaric oxygen, improving brain function, memory etc. But NAC and exercise will do the same. Also with all the excessive glutamine we get in our diets from MSG or various forms, NAC may be good at mopping that up. It's toxic to the brain in large amounts (glutamic acid). Dr Russell Blaylock goes into this a lot.
I think this high glutamic acid was what started or agitated my seizures after a TBI. I’m twenty but interested in leaving medications completely. People don’t realize how harmful MSG can be and it’s regarded as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) but it’s BS. It’s the medical industry.
I just started taking this a couple months ago and it seems to really help you fight off infections. I was starting to come down with some lung issues and it really didnt turn into anything big and i feel it was due to taking NAC. My immune system seems to be ramped up lately.
People should be aware of this fact. NAC is amazing but comes with it's own risks. I took 600mgs for less than a month then stopped. Even at that dose I noticed impaired mood when I stopped taking it.
I have MTHFR genetic mutation and I take NAC and C together to help my body's detoxification pathways. It really works. MTHFR inhibits the body's natural detoxification processes and without NAC and a good sweat a few times a week I feel toxic and fatigued.
I have BOTH genes for MTHFR. My doctors have completely disregarded it and have told me that it's nothing to worry about. I'm starting to wonder if they even KNOW anything about it.
I'm curious, since amino acids are provided (in varying proportions) by most high protein foods, such as chicken, turkey, yogurt, cheese, eggs, sunflower seeds, and legumes, is it really necessary for most people to supplement it?
Dirty Genes by Ben Lynch is extremely helpful. So is a search for the dirty super 7 genes. We cannot eat processed foods and need methylated vitamins. No synthetics like those found in processed foods, (fake B!@ and folic acid)@@curiousc9259
If the Globalist psychos know a drug helps they may tamper with it. I was recently reading about how Ivermectin banned during Covid & doctors sacked etc who used it ( it apparently saves lives if used early with 'Covid' symptoms so the WEF governments had to ban it of course. But it's now been allowed to be prescribed again but apparently some brands at least, now found to contain Graphene ( & who knows what else?) ie the medicines is now very dangerous to take in some cases at least...

NAC also lowers BP and homocysteine. And it boosts nitric oxide. I find that when combined with beetroot smoothies, my BP and resting heart rate drop substantially. Beetroot is also high in betaine which is a methyl donor and also helps lower homocysteine.
I can take glutathione without problems, but I get super tired when I take NAC. I do have many years of mold exposure, so thanks for explaining why I am having this problem. I definitely struggle with my mast cell issues.
@@defrank1870 Yes, but my mold exposure is large, and my body doesn't seem to be able to detox on its own. I do take binders, but still have a long road ahead.
So to sum all of that up, minus the marketing plug, you should take NAC, plus vitamin C (freshly queezed lemon juice) and vitamin E together. You didn't discuss the importance of the best form of vitamin E. While you are at it you might explain why the best form of vitamin C is lemon juice versus all the pharma versions.
We drink pineneadle thee, witch has 5x more vitamin c than Lemon, it also have glutathion. And its not bad to drink. I spice it up with 2 cloves and one drop of on Guard to boost my health. I feel good 😊
Vitamin E as Tocotrienol (EAnnatto by Delta Gold) is what I use. 98% of multivitamins have Vit E as Tocopherol. Majority of Vit E supplements are also Tocopherols, too. Tocotrienols is the most effective vit E out there
Good info, but NAC only has 1 sulfur molecule so doesn't last very long. There is already a product on market that has right cofactors along with right ratio of right amino acids.
Yes there has been some detox supplements and like detox baths and foods like tumeric and ginger and garlic that used to make me real tired for a long time along with atothgy and intermittent fasting but I kept going it took a couple few years to get through it but worth it
Is there a difference in effectiveness in taking NAC and glyNAC? Do they have different benefits for different purposes and possibly different side effects?
@@LThill-ks2uz thanks for the tip. I was just wondering though if both glycine and NAC supplements are synthetic. And if there are supplements from natural sources. Also keep reading some of the side effects from several commentors like heart problems. But haven't yet seen those addressed in the videos.
If you have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome esp. if it is caused by leaky gut, then be careful supplementing with NAC. Leaky gut and MCAS can be a symptom of heavy metal toxicity, NAC is a weak chelating agent and can cause the metals to redistribute around your body and brain. It will make you feel very weird, almost crazy. If that occurs I would recommend getting a hair mineral analysis test done to check for heavy metals. Also heal your gut before trying to detox.
Could taking NAC for a long time make your body lose the ability to synthesize antioxidants by avoiding oxidative stress? Doesn’t the body need oxidative stress to fight cancer and stay fit?🤔
Why don't you do one on phenol sulfotransferase? If I'm not mistaken you need that to break down salicylates, I'm Sal intolerant, which dramatically occurred to me in mid-life. I would love to know why, and if an absence inhibits sulfate conjugation, or if and how histamine levels increase over salicylate exposure if sufficient levels of PST are present. Natural Sals are important to reduce inflammation and as I get older taking these natural ant-inflammatories seems something nobody should miss.
Can I ask why? I have histamine intolerance and would be miserable without NAC. I take one in the morning and one at night. I notice no histamine symptoms when I take it. It decreases my sinus congestion (thins the mucus) that was making me miserable. I follow a low histamine diet but still have issues with sinus congestion.

I developed a severe cough and my muscles cramped all over my body. I also can't tolerate glycine at all, it makes me nauseous and causes spleen pain. just nac was ok until the cough started and I felt really sick. I also hoped that nac would be helpful to reduce my bodypain after covid but it had no healing effect .
