Dr. Osborne I have been taking your NAC supplement for about a year especially during cold and virus seasons and it helps with clearing out my lungs and mucus and have less episodes of catching flu. Thank you for all you do for people.
Dr O, I learned so many things about NAC other than it being an anti mucolytic from your lecture. Sperm motility, glutathione precursor, etc. Thank you for giving knowledge. You are much appreciated.
Hi... A friend of mine was diagnosed with vitiligo some years aback and i was told about NAC.. After taking the NAC tablets for about 2 weeks the patches of skin started to clear up. Today she had no vitiligo. The thing is the nurse had told her (my friend) that there isn't any cure for vitiligo. I'm glad I'm hearing of more benifits of NAC. GREAT VIDEO.
Thank you for sharing what over the counter, Tylenol, can do to the body. I just went to a Orthopedic surgeon for a consultation for hip replacement. He said I could stay on over the counter anti inflammatory drugs for 2-3 years with no harm. He just does not know and I did not want to argue. Thanks for sharing truth. Beverly Reid
Try supplementing with Collagen and/or ingest bone broth regularly towards restoring joints. To mitigate pain, DMSO and MSM can be helpful, without causing harm.
Wow what a fantastic lecture. I am 72 I just had a benign 11cm cystf removed from rt ovary. I do take NAC. The surgeon took a photo of my ,liver and said i had a beautiful liver Imagine. My friend who was with me during surgery told him that i take care of myself. I am diabetic off of insulin,in for several years. Have been on keto diet several year. Your discussion on pcos was interesting to me. You are a physician worth listening to. Thank you sir.
During Covid Amazon removed all supplements of NAC. I had to find it from other companies to get it. It’s back now, post Covid. What does that tell you?
I give NAC (600mg, 3xdaily) to my 2yr old twins who had many ASD signs and were non-verbal. I also give L-theanine (400mg, 3x daily to increase GABA). 5 days after starting it only once a day they started saying "uh-oh". I swear by NAC.
Angela, also look into Myo-Inositol. My sibling took it with NAC and PCOS is gone in just a couple of months. But you'll have to change your eating habit to low carbs, or optionally no carbs and alcohol wouldn't help neither.
I've been taking NAC for years. Love to hear the indepth analysis of the positive benefits! By the way, don't ever forget that when C19 was at its worst, the FDA recommended not to use NAC right after it was shown to dramatically help prevent major symptoms after contracting C19. Amazon actually stopped selling NAC for about 18 months due to this. Something very diabolical was going on there.
Thank you very much. I bought two bottles of Thorne NAC during covid but didn't have to use them (not vaxxed). Never got sick. Now knowing the plethora of benefits I'm starting 1,500 MG daily to improve NO2. I'm 69 healthy diet.Dont drink alcohol or smoke. I do feel run down much of the time. Maybe NAC will help. Looking to see if my glutathione levels are good. 135lb 70-80 grams protien daily. We will see. Thanks again. Much appreciated all your work. Leo
I have COPD, since many years back. My life was a misery, always sick, in hospital, on cortizone drips. I had trouble walking, because of low O2 levels. BUT, I always believed that something will happen to give my life back. When I was 8 years old, I had trouble running, I could'nt climb stairs at school. Now, not even a month ago I started with NAC..... what I difference! I am almost like a normal healthy person. Thank you GOD, you gave me the knowledge to read about NAC.
I heard a law was proposed to ban sales without a script (and of course we know why that was) but, passing it was delayed by present administration . 🤔 Maybe we can do better by passing info amongst ourselves. DITCH the establishment I say. 🕉
I take it for flu prevention and was in a hotel with my husband who got COVID and was coughing on me. I didn’t get it (tested daily). I also am a strong believer in using sauna a few times a week. With both I don’t remember the last time I was sick (other than GI stuff because I have celiac and sometimes deal with cross contamination)
I started taking NAC 500 mg with glycine to see if it would help my muscle pain (I'm 75, & after walking or moving around about 10 mins, my whole body begins to ache). I noticed a little relief after about 2 weeks & was tolerating it well, so I increased it to 1000 mg/day. I feel so much better, & can grocery shop now without being doubled over with pain & fatigue by the time I bring it all into the house! Sometimes I skip taking it for a day or two, & the pain returns. I'll take a dose, & within about an hour, I'm pain free again. So glad I learned about it here! Thanks, doc.
Dr. Osbourne; thank you for all of your hardwork! You have changed and saved my life and my future babies based on what I have learned about NAC and gluthatione! Total game changer. I was tested and I am 51% deficient in gluthatione after major surgery! I insisted on the test. I can’t play around. I had 126 fibroids removed!
If you live in the UK you won't be talking to your doctor about any of this stuff unless you're married to them. You have approximately 10 minutes each day from 8am when you can try phoning your doctor to make an appointment. If you get through finally at 8:20 they will tell you all slots to make an appointment have gone. You do this every day for a week and you eventually get through and apply for an appointment. They will then contact you in a week or so to give you a 15 minute appointment three weeks away. Are you honestly going to go through all this just to ask your doctor "Is NAC right for me?". I think you'd be struck off and never get a doctor's appointment ever again.
Hi. I'm in the UK too. I'll let you on a trick to get through. Wait for the clock to turn 8.00, rapid dial my friend, as soon as you get through, press 1. Don't listen to the voice message. Not that the doctor can be of much help. I have been intoxicated by black mould spores. GP hospital all them look at me like I'm talking gibberish. Hematology DR don't know what is Micotoxin. We are on our own here. Our health is in our own hand. I am healing myself with beautiful human beings like DR Osborne. Blessings. 🙏💚
@@Emperess Yeah, whilst everyone else is listening to the options at 8am you're pressing 1. Gets the jump on them. Some of the NHS staff are pretty good. Our GP surgery have two doctors, one is useless and the other is brilliant. They take it in turns so you have a 50/50 chance of good treatment.
No Doctor really practices medicine other than what they’ve been brainwashed to practice during medical school, residency. And my practicing physician in the United States and disgusted about how things are in the world of medicine. Primary doctors can’t even treat diabetes right or are they gonna know anything about any supplementation? Lol! 😮. We need to stay healthy so we don’t need a doctor and we need people like Dr. Osborne to teach us things that we never learned in school..
@@johnkuncho7239 Things have changed a lot since I wrote that comment. Most of the people who were clogging up the NHS have since died so it's now easy to get an appointment.
Dr Andrew Heyman recommends 2400mgs of this for CIRS and brain inflammation. It really helps..!! I’ve sent this video to a lot of people today. Thank you so much..!! 💕
@@TheSilverlover999that was about the dose with equal amount of Glycine given to 70y old for research .. So prolly ok long term for peeps over +50y old YMMV
Dr. Osborne, I have an important question (for me) about NAC and existing tumor or cancer. My sister has HPV and high risk lesions. I wanted to put her on NAC. BUT I found a study that said "NAC treatment enhanced metastasis of lung cancer [16,17]. This could be due to decreased oxidative stress in metastatic tumors, causing them to proliferate and grow in distant sites [17]", and there's another one about increased gluthathione accelerating tumor growth. I wonder if the study was not done properly, or my sister should really avoid NAC? Thank you!
Thank you! My Renal doctor told me about NAC. I have taken 600 mg for several years. I also have RA , osteoarthritis, borderline osteoporosis, hypothyroidism, and hypertension. I recently was diagnosed with tri-compartment DJD in the left knee and have been popping Arthritis strength Tylenol for several weeks! I am going to increase my NAC to 1800 mg a day until I get my knee taken care of! I appreciate the info you shared!
Hello Beth, I think I remember in a previous video he said that someone gave up gluten and the knee pain vanished and they went back to hiking. I put a teaspoon of Curry powder into my vegetable stock every night as the ingredients of curcumin, turmeric, etc, completely knocked out all my arthritic pain. Namaste 🙏
Awesome as Always. Will be using NAC to help with stopping prescription pain killer for Fibromyalgia. Already reduced 25% use. I had my old dental fillings removed 15 yrs ago. But missed the fact that heavy metals were already in body. The NAC is helping remove the toxins in tissues. Which in turn has helped relieve symptoms of mercury and toxin poisoning in body.
Vit C (working in unison with Glutathione) is also helpful to use for detoxification from metals. DMSO (can be applied transdermally to mitigate pain, reduce swelling, induce healing, etc.). It also binds to metals, and can move them over the blood brain barrier. To increase Glutathione production you could also consider using Coffee Enemas.
Began NAC 2 weeks ago. First thing I notice 6 hours after 1st dose was complete ABSENCE of eye floaters. Did not expext this but an unbelievable function of NAC. Hope that us useful to many. Eye floaters gone, eyesight improving. So what else is this stuff helpful with. Anazing!
Thank you so much. I've been taking in a safe for about 8 years now and it's definitely helped my lung function and probably other things I'm not aware of. You are so appreciated
I took NAC for a month, 2 capsules on empty stomach in the morning - that was 1500 mg. Shortly after started taking it, I got stinky bloating and stinky loose stool (but not diarrhea). Despite this, I kept taking it further. This week I lowered my dosing to one capsule - 750 mg at the morning and the stool is much better. I was wondering, is this a typical reaction, does that mean a strong detox reaction that should pass over with time, or the dosage was too high for me? Because as you say, many people do great on 1500 mg.
NAC and CHROMIUM has seriously helped me, I was chronically fatigued very shortly after meals, especially if bread was involved, and I knew I was tittering on being diabetic...I cant express how better I feel within five days of supplementing with both!
Thank you for the advice on NAC very helpful as my meds from the doctors were making me feel very sick and when they (the meds) ran out,I tried different supplements. Have a great day and thanks for the info.
Taking now one 1200 MG cap per day to detox any heavy metals ... from what I understand we should be taking our "green's" also to act as a carrier...thank you for an in depth study..😊
Mold, I would like to know more about about the connection of mold exposure and NAC. Does it mean that the detox effects might be harsh but still it taking NAC would be helpful in dealing with mold toxicity?
I've been taking NAC for about 2 years and have seen sites that report it helps with recurrent uti prevention. So far I have not have another uti while taking it.
I have read that NAC depletes zinc and copper. Should someone supplement with those minerals as well in order to avoid zinc and/or copper deficiencies? Great video as always👌
Thank you for great presentation as always.❤️ Sorry missed this last night being in the UK we have time difference. 😴 Sleep is important 😀. Thank you so much always very helpful greatly appreciated.🤗
What about Collagen supplementation and/or ingesting bone broth&sult regularly towards restoring joints? To mitigate pain, DMSO and MSM can be helpful without being harmful.
The education we are getting from you is beyond measure. THANK YOU !!! I found your website & ordered GI SOOTH & MELATONIN and the next on my list will be NAC. Dr. OSBOURNE you are amazing and we love you!❤❤
I've been taking 500 mg a day for about 2.5 years. I think I'll increase it to 1,000 and see how it goes. Then to 1500. I haven't had any ill effects from it, but I do drink fairly regularly, and this is probably the better dosage, while I taper off.
Look up some vids on taking Glycine with it as it helps raise your Glutathione Levels in Liver and thus should be better able to bounce back from drinking
Would you please add on comment about GlyNAC which is supposed to be more bio available and so need to take lower doses? Is this true? Is the cost worth it? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated-Thank you
Thank you Dr Osborne, great Course. I've been taking NAC 750 Mg and Quercetine since covid but I'm wondering if that enough or if I should take more during the winter. I have a hypogammaglobulinemia without consequences until now.
@@jhakku1401 Thank you so much. I’m already taking 6000mg vitamin C, 25mg zinc, 20,000 vitamin D, and I’m augmenting all of that when I feeling an infection.
Can't wait to watch this! I started taking NAC 1.5 years ago, primarily to help with hangovers and it's been incredible! My hangovers have always been unusual since I was a teenager - from as litte as one glass of wine I get inomnia, nausea, heavy palpitations, feel like I'm burning up, brain fog, fatigue etc. and it can last for days. The symptoms start a handful of hours after drinking, so I suspect I'm reacting to the aldehyde rather than the alcohol itself. NAC massively reduces those symptoms so I never drink alcohol without it (though I still don't drink often). But not only that, taking a daily maintenance dose of 600mg has made me feel so much healthier and I catch bugs less often. It's been incredible!! A game changer! I've told so many people about it and most of them haven’t noticed a benefit with hangovers, so it must be something about the way I metabolise alcohol and perhaps a deficiency in cysteine, glutathione, aldehyde dehydrogenase or something else. But I don't know why I have that issue. I'm sensitive to gluten and caffeine as well (neurological symptoms). My doctor and pharmacist have no answers. Would love Dr Osborne's thoughts on it!
I also had breast cancer when I was just 28, but I don't have the BRCA1, 2 or TP53 genes. So alcohol is one of the possible culprits that lead to my cancer or increased my risk of it.
@@waltraudwerdecker6054drinking alcohol causes B1 deficiency. Start watching videos from reputable drs on here like dr Osborne to learn about B1 deficiency. It’s the silent deficiency drs don’t test or care about but it mimics many diseases.
Thank you so much Dr. Osborne your God sent for me. I have Addison’s disease and I struggle every day. I am taking NAC And I really appreciate the video. It’s a great help. Thanks God bless you.🥰❤️
Thank you for the detailed info on NAC! I’m scheduled for a hip replacement after 1 1/2 years of pt and chiropractic therapy but also have been on naproxen, I’m switching to a smaller dose of Tylenol before the surgery then after eliminating all. Presently I’m on no prescriptions. What would you suggest Dr Osborne for preparing for surgery especially to protect my gut microbiology from all of the antibiotics. I haven’t taken antibiotics in years and am quite healthy at 65, please advise
Always take a good probiotic when taking antibiotics. Check his video playlist. I’m sure he has a good video on taking probiotic. Good luck with your surgery 🤞
I live in Europe and when we had a long lasting cough earlier this year the doctor prescribed an over-the-counter product that is mainly Acetylcysteine with some sweetner. A dissolvable tablet or powder. Please, can you explain what is the difference between NAC and Acetylcysteine without the "N-". I asked the pharmacist and they said the difference is negligible. Thank you.
I quit taking NAC about a year ago due to Stomach pain. Increase mucus in sinusis and throat. Going back on with FOOD to see if that helps. Thanks for all that you do and Teach us~!!!
@@sonshinelove6181Jarrow makes a time release NAC that is much, much easier on the stomach. Amazon took it off their website temporarily during the pandemic but it is available now.
Can you trust that the “organs” these days have not been contaminated with steroids, growth hormones, feed additives etc like many animal products and sources?
It is my understanding that the FDA could not do a rush on the approval of the vaccines. It typically take years of trials etc before approval. Additionally, if there was any OTC supplement or otherwise that had a strong effect on Covid and they could not rush through the approval of the vaccines, so what did they do, ban NAC. It’s disgusting and it’s criminal low cost no long-term side effects or otherwise deadly ones and they take it away from us.
