I can't say medically because you are not my patient. You should speak with your provider about your dosage. 6 pounds in 6 weeks may not be bad based on the plan they have you on. Often the 2nd month is where weightloss really starts. If you dont have a provider then please reach out to us: dropweightmd.com
I’m keeping my hopes up. I been off all sugars and fasting from 8pm-12pm implemented a little workout during this journey and my weight is not budging. I started September of 2023 @ 315 on 10cc and now January 2024 @ 312 on 80cc. The money I’m dishing for this semiglutide I could put towards surgery, I don’t know. I just hate my body is stubborn!
I’m six weeks in and don’t think I’ve lost anything. I think a lot of it has to do with how much is needed to lose and lifestyle to begin with. I need to lose 35 pounds now, and I already cut out sugar years ago, only drink water, am vegetarian, don’t have a lot of snacks. There’s only so many adjustments that I can make. If you weigh 450 and just cut out soda, you’ll drop weight immediately. I’m trying to be patient and trust the meds.
I think the same goes for me. I've already cut sugar and carbs out for 7 years and am at the point of getting the scale to even budge. So I started this medicine thinking it was going to be my jump start and still nothing. I need to learn patience, but it's hard.
I am currently on this 3 weeks in haven’t lost any weight, still have all the same cravings, and even more hungrier than I was to begin with. Currently on 0.25
@GinaSchaidt after 3 months and dose increased to 1mg I stop taking it, I had absolutely no side effects not negative or positive just no effects and no weight loss, I was using Ozempic if that helps.
This was actually really Helpful! As i have not lost anything in my first month, even while having some wierd side effects, like headaches, hair loss, badmoods and wierd dreams, so I was like..Wow what am i doing this for? But it helps me to know that It may just take a little longer for my body to respond to this..
Been using wegovy for 13 weeks, I'm on my 2nd dose of 1.7 mg and have only lost 9lb, most of this was the 1st month. I weighed 295 when I started and am now 286. I feel like I've been duped out of my hard earned money. I really hoped this drug would help me, I'm so disappointed. I had better results with keto.
I've been on it fpr 10 weeks I'm at 1.25mg and I've lost about 3lbs its way to expensive to be seeing zero results. I am so disappointed and I don't understand why.
I've been on it for 10 weeks with zero weight loss and minimal side effects my dose has been uped every 3rd week because I've tolerated it well. I am currently taking 1.25mg/50 units and still nothing. I eat healthy, drink plenty of water and I exercise 5 days a week. I simply don't understand what is going on.
Same. I'm coming up on 9 weeks at 30 units (past week) and I haven't seen any changes really. I notice I'm passing slower, but otherwise, not much more than that.
What types of foods are you all eating? My wife stalled on her semaglutide journey because she kept eating bad stuff like candy and other sugary carbs. Yes, her appetite was lower and she couldn't eat as much, but she didn't change the fundamental bad behaviors that led to her weight gain in the first place. I just started semaglutide yesterday, so we will see how it goes!
It works for a few weeks then you just waste time and money. Made me nauseated and constipated for days. I quit using it. Went back to gym.amd sticking to Paleo and Supplements. I feel 10x better!
I'm beginning to think I should stop as well. I've been on it for 10wks I'm now at 1.25mg and I've lost about 3lbs I haven't had any of the normal side effects but all and all just feel unwell I can't say what exactly feels ill I just don't feel good. At 3lbs its been a wasted of time and money for me.
I’ve been on it for a month and a half. I’ve lost 10 pounds, but I feel like I can do better without it because I hate feeling sick all the time. When I started taking 15 units that’s when the side effects hit me stronger. I’ll either go back to 10units or just stop completely.
6 months, and not even a dress size down. F this. I’m barely eating anything, I’ve spent enough to pay for a vacation, and I look the same. I’m done. And angry.
I lost a few pounds in my first 3 months, 4 th month I lost 8 lbs and I'm now starting my 5th month at 2 mg/wk..I have mixed feelings. One year ago I lost 30 lbs in 3 months by diet and cutting Sugar, Dairy and Cooking Oils by 70-80%..So far I've lost 40 lbs total..I still want to lose 20-30 lbs more..
Am I a misfit ?! I’ve been on Ozempic for 4 months and have had a total of 18 pounds loss ! One side effect lasted a week and now moving up to .2 dosage !

Month 2 and I gained 6 pounds. No I have not eaten junk. I’m post menopause and found a 40 extra pounds in 3 years. But I’m taking a oral compound semiglutide
Because the drug stops working after some time, even at high dosage plus you need to exercise cardio and weight training and have a solid meal plan for when you come off the drug. People are too lazy to do this they really want a magic pill so they can just be lazy and do nothing and the weight comes off
