@@kingofthanorth I hear Lex's 808s in a lot of beats today as well. I believe he also started distorted 808s. Ace Hood Hustle Hard is probably the first song I have heard that had distorted 808s. Redd came before him, but they're both influential in their own right.

It heavily influenced it but isn't the exact same. Redd, Lex, Zay, and Drumma Boy helped create that. Especially Zay these days. Every Youngboy instrumental has a heavy Zaytoven influence
