I am from Dublin, Ga. Was born and raised there. I am in Canada at the moment and have been since feb. I was feeling home sick and i just want you to know your video has really helped me feel better
Hometown Girl so be sure to read this in my "Ignorant Southern Accent" please. Dublin is a great town, maybe you should have taken time to stop at some of the shops and restaraunts in town, maybe some of the Southern Hospitality you would have encountered would have rubbed off and you could have incorporated it into your next narration. Is there crime? Yes in every single city you visit there will be. Are there poor parts of town, yes in every single city you visit this will be the case. Does that mean we're all sitting here in our overalls with tobaccer dribble running down our chins? No, and its ignorant to make such an assumption. Try to squeeze in a little positivity and broaden your mind by not judging an entire population based on the fabrications spun by the latest Hollywood depiction you've seen. Youll enjoy your trips more and so will your viewers. Bless Your negative, narrow minded little heart and try to enjoy a day.
Yeah I felt the commentary definitely took away from the video and did put a negative light on the town for people who’ve never been there and may be interested in relocating there. I also agree about there’s crime everywhere I’ve been around some of the wealthiest people and neighborhoods in south east Georgia due to my job and I’ll tell you they have major issues as well but a lot of it isn’t highlighted and covered by news outlets and other media for obvious reasons. But if you ever find the perfect town here in America or anywhere else for that matter please document it for all to see.
Extremely well said!! I got the very same impression. Stopped watching it about halfway through. Lived there more than 30 years. I was insulted by this video.

Maybe I just simply misunderstood your comments about "inbred hicks" and similar. But I lived in Dublin, Georgia for more than 30 years, went through school and graduated from high school there. But I never heard anyone say "bless your heart". I showed your video to my brother-in-law here in Northern Ireland and he said he thought that you were insulting the town. If you are going to do a travelogue, then you should at least make sure that you actually know something about the place. Quite clearly you did not. Locals who have made and uploaded videos about the town comment on places, including what they used to be. It makes it so much more interesting for the viewers. Simply speeding along and making derogatory and anti-Southern comments is not helpful to people who might be visiting the town. You certainly seem to have a great hatred for the South and Southerners in general anyway. How sad for you both.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS well read this then, the station you drove by with the green roof beside bubbas tires the owner of it is in his mid 70’s and he still goes out there and busts his ass everyday doing tires after owning the place for 30 yrs Dublin is a small city not super small but small but if you even cared to chop it up with people a little bit you would’ve met some great people and also the title said the real streets of dublin ga but you didn’t go through a hood at all go through Duncan street, Moore street, sherwing ave, Stubbs park, etc you wouldn’t have even made it out of there talking how you was talking bro🤦♂️ you can’t sit there and shit on peoples home and expect them not to care I mean dude come on you from Florida according to your handle😂

I found it extremely offensive also. I lived there for more than 30 years myself. I reported it to RU-vid for "hateful and abusive content" but they haven't removed it.
