Every year during Tokyo Auto Salon, the Car royalty of Tokyo host a private car meet. It's invite only, and the location isn't known until the day-of.
This year's meet was leaked a bit and quite a few more people than intended showed up.
On a completely unrelated note, we managed to find it and I decided to make a vlog about it!
Knowing major media such as @LarryChenPhoto would be there, I didn't think bringing a camera would be an issue and it seems I was right.
However, I will keep the exact location secret just in case, and I filmed as respectfully as possible. I was relieved to see other uuuuh coincidental attendees were just as respectful, and while a large number of people did show up, nobody got out of hand, and everyone deferred to the real ones who were actually invited.
Speedhunters did a feature on it as well so I encourage you guys to check it out!
I completely fangirled over Larry Chen though as he's the only celebrity I know who's doing a skill I'm spending my life trying to perfect -- so naturally I have a huge amount of respect for him.
Other guest appearances are @dustiinw @ALBO @masalovescars and honestly quite a few big names I didn't know until that night.
At any rate, we went to the meet then spent the entire night chasing down Tokyos more rebellious enthusiasts as the cops shut us down one parking lot after another.
My camera died, but the experience will never leave me.
Huge shout out to @tlaccone for making it all possible by coordinating this trip.
