Yeah, but i’m sure she and her mom thought she’d get more experience and get better as a dancer. I think she got better with some things but I think she also got worse with some things, and it definitely wasn’t good for her mental health based on what the moms did alone to her. Most of the girls weren’t that nice to her (other than Nia, Mackenzie, Maddie, & Jojo) and they left her and Nia out of things countless of times. I get Brynn was a bit younger but that’s no excuse to leave her out. She was 14, Kendall was 14 turning 15, Kalani was 16, and Nia was turning 16. That’s not too far apart at all.

Brynn was insanely talented , tbh both Abby and the producers are to blame for making this girls life hell, and don't get me started on jill and "her little Kendal"

@@caseyjennings7420 literally let’s not forget that jessalyn was just as much to blame and sometimes Melissa would jump in as well. I’m just glad that all of that behind her and that she is healing as she should. I hope we do get to see a reunion with her and Mackenzie because I soooo hoped they would have done a duet together either hip hop or lyrical or even ballroom.

Most serious gyms/dance studios for kids have a psychologist. Many kids in seriously competitive sports have panic attacks. I was a junior Olympic rhythmic gymnast and to this day have panic attacks(I’m 35 now). I’m sure the show had its issues, but it wasn’t child abuse. It was no different than thousands of other gyms/studios around the country. I also think, despite what people think about Abbey and the show, every one of the kids from it turned out pretty amazing(and we know it’s not from the parenting), so they must have done something right.

It was not abuse. They signed up for a reality show and their parents had every opportunity to stop it but they didn’t. They wanted the popularity and fam and money, so that’s the cost. They could have handled it better.

I was thinking how good a friend the friend was being.. letting Brynn talk freely and safely about highly emotional and triggering stuff.. but keeping it as light and comfortable as possible. She was obviously friends with her when they were young.. and so ofcourse it was going to bring up some of their shared memories...

Then they are not your true friend it’s a big red flag!

The only problem is that she lies about everything and i know she won’t own up to it, so i don’t really know what to do about it. Girl… lose her. You can’t just hang around people who disrespect you because they’re “fun to hang out w.” If a guy you like is fun to hang around, but constantly disrespects you, would you still wanna date him? The answer should definitely be “no.” And then she lies all the time? Get rid of her.

The show and their hard work are the common denominators. How many other dancers from Abby’s studio became a big name?

these kids were already amazing going into the show. there’s a reason they were chosen to be in the show over hundreds, even thousands, of other dancers that auditioned (and multiple auditions across the seasons were held, when they were searching for select teams and replacements for members who left). abby seems like the common denominator because she was the largest part of the show that never changed through the seasons, even if the kids and mums were revolving doors. the show is the common denominator, because they chose extremely talented kids. but correlation is not causation, and even then, their talent is barely correlated to the show. they possessed remarkable talent long before the show came into their lives. the show only pulled several talents together to make it seem like all talents were under one roof being taught by one teacher. it doesn’t mean the show or the teacher resulted in them becoming talented dancers.
