Not sure if this will help, but I recommend Cold-Ez to possibly help your cough. They don't taste great, but I think that they do genuinely help to shorten colds. That said, you don't seem tired so that is good.

If you're gonna bring karl to the campaign i think you should theme his army more to a traditional empire one? Like having reiksguard and demigryph knights alongside greatswords for army and gameplay diversity

One important information: a militry alliance makes it much *more* likely to confederate now, not less! You can test this easily by looking at the diplomatic score. I had a -30 for confederation and after the alliance it changed to +17, making a confed possible. This happened multiple times my last few games.

I'm on my 3rd playthrough of an Elspeth campaign. 1st was a multiplayer with friends that didn't get a full experience because others completed the objectives early, then we started a new one. 2nd time solo, Kislev and Dwarves both died pretty early on (by turn 45 I'd say) and I was left defending against greenskins to the south and east, skaven to both the northeast and west, and chaos and norsca to the north. Franz just got stomped by Festus and Norsca, so I ended up confederating him with only Reikland and the forts left to his faction. It just became a slog, with Elspeth jumping everywhere with the gardens just to defend. This 3rd attempt has been more successful, and I managed to securely control all of the empire territory by turn 80-90, although Kislev still died out. So I'd say it's very much a random experience. Elspeth's units are super strong, and Franz isn't as tanky on the field as he used to be.

I'm very partial to both Beastslayer (and Felix's dawning realisation that he's actually a monumental badass if you compare him to people who aren't Gotrek) and Giantslayer (because Gotrek and Teclis's banter and snarking is fantastic) Also, lovely to have you back!

It is a lot of fun playing Teclis once the south has stabilised n friendships, conquest or alliances. Sending Magellan out to explore the seas (a noble) for instance sailing south of India and up the Chinese rivers, finding out what has transpired around the globe.. fun 🙂

Those Ironsides did so much damage to that Ogre line, their HP bar literally just disappeared O_o Haven't had an opportunity to watch lately but now I've got a great backlog to work through :)

@@lionheartx10 I definitely am, I thought they'd be strong with that final upgrade but wow I watched your Malakai videos first so I heard the Amethyst Outriders are also extremely strong so I'm looking forward to seeing their first appearance :D

Glad to hear all is well mate. Just a tip too, there is a tech/research in the same area as the cheaper Amethyst upgrades ( bottom line of the tech tree, I don't remember the tree name) that will show you the capitals for all non-hostile empire factions. It will save you a lot of time if you're trying to find Gelt and Volkmar as opposed to sending an agent, trust me (that was my experience anyway).

Just finished my Tamurkhan-Campaign. So, I can tell you about Malakai and Tarmukhan, I have not started Elspeth yet. For both, the overall experience was that of an very easy campaign, but challenging quest battles (well, at least some of them). But i guess, it depends a lot on some random stuff, especially how your potential allies fair. In my Thamurkhan campaign for instance, the chaos dwarves defended my eastern flank the whole game, I never even saw Grimgor till the very end when i had to finish him as part of the victory conditions. Cathay was strong but had no border with me, Catharine never declared war on me and so on. I had campaigns when it felt like everybody and their dogs would declare war on me and of course those were much harder.

As for Elspeth being OP.. ebery race have some powers that are OP. That is nice. Example: The Skaven Doom Nuke and ability to ambush at will almost! So keep up the fun 🙂

AFAIK going from very hard to legendary just adds more debuffs to my armies and buffs to ai armies rather than any tougher ai programing as such :/

The Empire's grapeshot wasn't overpowered to begin with, it was just the dwarf one that had like a 20 where it should've been a 2 (the dwarf one has also since been fixed however).

Your cough has been prolonged, and as someone mentioned, its probably a persistent viral cold. The best way to beat a cold is actually to get out more and exercise regularly, as well as keeping hydrated.

They've check it but it seems to be bacterial, hence the antibiotics. Thankfully I'm pretty active most of the time but the past 2 weeks especially and I'm always well hydrated but yeah it's not just a cold it seems so I'll likely need another course to fully clear it

Gald you're back and good luck with your new child! I have a master degree in biology, about that cold you have, did you test with a nose swab before taking antibiotics? Most of the times these kind of infections are virals (caused by viruses), and antibiotics don't work on them, they are only effective against bacteria. That's why probably it's doing nothing, and moreover taking antibiotics for nothing really fucks up your microbiote (especially the tummy bacteria) and spreads antibiotics resistance, that's a big problem!!! So please, everyone who's reading this, don't take antibiotics without doing a microbial test before, especially if you have cold, coughs, sneezing, etc. because usually it's a virus infection + it's better to take nothing rather than an uneffective medicine! Yeah they believe it's bacterial hence the antibiotics and that I don't have any other viral symptoms it's not a cold really it's just this very dry yet mucusy cough that can't be shifted even 3 plus weeks. Considering we also had a newborn in the house they were keen to try something else. The antibiotics have certainly helped but they think I may need a different type to fully clear this so will see how things go :)

What even is the point in upgrading settlements like Fort Soll or Helmgard? Other than more defense, what does it offer? Why pump money into the upgrades? Theodore plucked some feathers from his mount and pinned it onto his helmet. Poor birdy. That Ogre lord looked a bit tough to swallow for Elspeth's dragon.

I know this comment wont be noticed but ill give it a shot anyway. I really love watching your videos. I binge all of them. I also really like putting them on to fall asleep to. The problem is all of your intro videos are loud and intense and they always wake me up. Its made me not be able to do it anymore. If any chance you can update that Id love to go back to uping your view stats

I read through all the comments on my videos even if I can't respond to every single one of them. Totally get what you're saying however the general vibe I've been going for with the intros the past few years I've been doing custom ones is to make big punchy ones that really draw viewers in alas they usually aren't great to fall asleep to. I'm always considering new intro options so where possible I'll consider ways to make something awesome and epic without being too loud intro wise :)

A funny little thing , which most English-native peole do not realize... not even the Wise Guys and CA... the German "von" = the French "de" = the Englsh "from/of". It is pronounced like the English word "fun".. as all German "v" sounds = "f".. Vlad = "Vlad", though, as that is a sSlavonic name. Just a bit of FUN (heh) with languages 🙂this was the entire reason for me writing this reminder..heh ... at least I crak myself up (quote from Homer Simpsons).
