Digging deeper into digestive issues and methylfolate....can too much supplementation lead to orange poop? I've been on sertraline for "depression" for over 20 years and new doc suggested methylfolate 2.5 mg. Didn't feel a diff, so upped it to 5 mg, upped again to 10mg. No discomfort by strange colors!! I haven't taken any in 4 days, but same issue, and haven't changed anything else. Just seems like "digestive issues" would also lead to elimination issues. Thank you!

Not asking for diagnosis, just curious. Also, don't know if I have the mthfr mutation. This was just related to psychiatrist suggestion.

Well it does have the potential to speed up transit time. I have a video coming out on this next week. I think that will provide some clarity.

That’s your book???! I have it. It’s really good. Still, this is a very difficult health issue to navigate through. I wonder if it has to do with the gene snp, maybe it isn’t possible to just fix it by taking the methylated bs? Maybe yes, it is a mutation, but maybe to treat it simply and what seems logical, by taking methylfolate and b12, isn’t the splution? I don’t know how to handle the 3 issues you are stating in this video, or how they would be treated. Even if I could, would that then make my system accept and utilize the methyl b’s properly? Because it’s been months now of trial and resultant side effects. Different dosage levels, taking some days off, trying tmg and other stuff alongside…ugh. Are we all at the place of understanding that it may not work well or not for many people rather, as a solution; and also that there are complications possibly. Or probably. But as yet we can’t handle the complications, as to any real solutions healthwise? How do we, as people out in the world, actually make this work if it does, for us?

Often, I have suspected that I have a fungal overgrowth, but in actuality…is that really able to be fixed?

And the trapping, that you mention, how does that get fixed? How does one handle that?

Again, your information in the book and in these videos is extensive, expansive, and brilliant. But I am not finding a way to fix my health, in it all. It’s certainly better than what is out there (the simplistic ‘just take a methyl b’ stuff that’s all over social media)…but I am not seeing any path to fixing or resolving the issues.

Hi thanks for sharing! I know it can be a lot the methylation/ MTHFR things for some people and in some cases it is best to just avoid, if you keep running into issues and can’t find a doctor to help you navigate it. I can’t cover every possible scenario in videos like this but hope to give some general understanding and options to help. I will have more videos coming on this topic in the next few weeks. Good luck

B12 is the cause I think that was mentioned in the video no?

I feel tired, sluggish and feel like I may pass out (never have) when I stand up quickly. I don't think it's a B12 deficiency because I take enough, would taking a methionine supplement help? What do you recommend?

Sorry, that can be so many things too hard to tell. You need a through evaluation by a doctor to get to the bottom of it.

@@swintegrative Thanks for replying. It's not emergency and currently I don't have a doctor but it started happening when I started taking a methylated multi vitamin for the past 3 months. Along with the tiredness I have more hair fall too, I never correlated it to the multivitamin but I had a hunch along the way and recently came across one of your videos regarding overmethylation and tiredness. I've stopped the methylated multivitamin and today feel slightly better but perhaps that's a placebo. I started taking glycine and I'm hoping it will buffer (is that the right word to get rid of) the excess methyl groups. I will have to wait and see for the next few days.

@@coder001could it be vitamin toxicity like A?

@@RBGoodfat interesting, well the vitamin I take per days has about 3500 micrograms not sure if that will overtime result in toxic levels.
