Player can vault the shield from side.. but seems like they put a little bit to the edge then a bit diagonal made it a bit harder to get vault prompt unless if that player slightly rotate a bit and found a vault prompt.. I tried that recently tho

and then they nerf Shields by get damage for 5 or 6 melee hit for destroy it. Remember Ubi didn't want us to fun in this game lol.

Put it outside the door but right in the middle. There's a sweet spot that blocks the door. Be warned your teammates will hate it
