I absolutely love Robert Greene, I could listen to him talk for hours and I can read his books over and over. I’ve loads of respect for the amount of effort and research he does for each book. I really hope he carries on writing great books 👍
Pains me when interviewers havent even read his books... yet interview him substantively about his books- all your answers are IN DA BOOKS! Robert plz let me interview you
I ABSOLUTLY LOVED THAT INTERVIEW! Some people complained but it's actually great to see a real conversation between the interviewer and Robert. An interview shouldn't be Robert Greene reciting his knowledge, there are his books for that. It should be an interviewer asking questions we all ask ourselves reading his books and bouncing on what Robert says. So, THANK YOU FOR THAT WONDERFUL INTERVIEW, i really learned a lot and omg the Quibi thing got me sooooo excited!
The interview and the interviewer were AWESOME. It felt like a natural conversation between two normal people in a cafe! And you could tell he was enjoying the conversation, so congrats to the interviewer!
The reason why Robert was accused of selling out is because he gave up the secrets for how most rich people have gotten rich and have stayed rich. Their is a positive and negative way to use 48 laws of power. Misuse of the information is how the rich stay rich. Also, his explanation for why black hip hop artist gravitate towards his book was spot on. He was being modest or trying not to be “so perfect”by saying she needed to ask them but he already knew the reason why. Robert is a genius.
Awesome interview but interviewer interjects way too much. Greene is the one we’re tuning in to watch, would love it if she just asked questions and not try to add her own opinions. Would watch these more in that case
The interviewer is wise and authentic. She can make another person open up and feel connected to her. And she does that in a subtle way. Robert Greene seems so relaxed and happy during this interview. Thank you for uploading. I enjoyed watching this interview so much.
In that envy segment, oh boy, the interviewer got very nervous and anxious for some reason, and barely let Mr. Greene speak. He has a lot of patience. Breathe in, breathe out.
Feels like the interviewer was always wanting to seek validation for her points of view from Greene, and not actively listen to him and absorb his valuable knowledge
Maryam Ihsan yes and no. I would say she’s actually nervous (pay attention to her body language), and in a way, yes, besides being nervous, she doesn’t want to look bad on his own shown with a person she admires. Anyway, I don’t think it’s that bad if you compare it to some of the people who have interviewed him. The first one of chase jarvis is pretty bad for example, while the second he actually changed and adapted to RG.
@@rODIUMuk yes, it was just one example. I don't know if you have seen the two interviews he did with RG, but the difference between the first and the last one, well, it's like he took coke for the first one, and xanax for the last lol.
@@rODIUMuk i think most of us, who follow RG work, would be a bit like her. Nervous. And well, not be exactly the best interviewer in the world. Obviously this is her work (job perhaps? i don't know her), and one would expect a better outcome because of that. If you go to the last minutes of the interview, i think you can easily read her. She's in a more relaxed state, and not overthinking about the course of the interview and the script she had in her mind. Anyway, check out the interview by Phil Keoghan if you haven't yet.
Awesome Interview, You deserve a sub and awesome to see Robert healed from his stroke. I've read all 6 of the books and they slowly change the way you view reality in a very positive way! Thanks for you work sir!
Schadenfreude.. "Oh I love schadenfreude, its amazing" lol. It's either she didn't understand where Robert was headed or didn't know the meaning of the word. This interviewer was unprepared for Robert & that is evident from her nervousness in her voice and her questions she was asking. I have heard quite a number of interviews with Robert & this should be one of the worst.
Nobody takes influence as a bad word. People take NEGATIVE influence as negative. So when you’re a shitty role model don’t expect people to follow your advice.
This was one if my favorites RG interview, my dream is to one day meet him and the interviewer did such a great job she seems like a very kind and smart woman. This was my second time listening to this
I feel this interview is werid. But I love Robert Greene. I don’t know if it’s the camera angles, the show, or the interviewer. But something seems off. But no shame. Still good info!!
This Girl doesn't know what an opportunity she got to meet and interview him. and just ruined it. she doesn't have any idea of how to connect to Mr Robert Greene the best writer in history.
Exactly and she probably will think we are all hating on her but she genuinely needs to listen 👂 and not talk so much! it’s sooooo frustrating, I can’t believe she was this delusional and unprepared. Who ever told her she has the skills to interview a genius like him?!
Lady…. He’s the expert here. Please learn to talk less and listen more. It’s very frustrating because you can tell he’s about to drop another bomb of wisdom and he loses his train of thought because of you interrupting him!!!
The music business is now 10 times worse than when 50 cent made it. Algorithmic suppression within the last 2 years is really putting a nail in the coffin to something that was already horrible. If he wants to know the reality of the business, he should talk to people like me.
I like this interview and you are p sweet but this video would have 2 maybe even 1 or 0 dislikes if you went into that opportunity to talk about Roberts next book “the law of the sublime” holy fuck I’ve never been so let down that you changed the subject. He’s had soooooo many interviews and only 2 as far as I know (the psychology podcast at the 1:05:00 mark and another one) have talked about his next book that people are dying to hear about. Robert has fans that literally look for every interview that he has and while they are all great interesting interviews they’re pretty much the same thing. Few interviewers really go into this subject of the sublime that we are dying to hear more about. I’m sure it was nerve racking to have Robert Greene there but you don’t have to do that much. He can talk for 10 mins straight and keep it really interesting we want to know as much as possible from him any other guest I would ever see on a podcast. If I were doing this interview my goals would be to get him to talk as MUCH AS POSSIBLE about his next book so my podcast would stand out and I would learn more about this book I’m dying to hear about and also to ask questions I had while reading the laws of human nature. Good interview... but could make it amazing if you get him back on
The modern self help industry is mostly garbage, to answer the question. I'm sorry to say but you are better off reading any European classics than anything modern. The Self Help book category is especially bad tbh, hence why Robert Greene books are so refreshing, frankly he's one of the few interesting writers in that field today. Even books like authors like Goggins or Ryan Holiday are entertaining but still frankly garbage if you're being honest with yourself. There are no mind blowing tips or ideas in any of these books. But the thing is people don't want to read books that stimulate their brains anymore. People only read philosophy if they have to for a philosophy class.
Hey Cali - Nancy Pelosi ? she is Catholic , she would never hate lmao . Politicans easy to see -- Trump - Narcissist - duh ... also Mr Greene help her how to not to talk so much . Right .
