Worked in the Shipyards in Birkenhead in the early 90s. Had a ball with the lads down there. The place was a bit rough then , but now seems, like a lot of towns, to have declined even further. Sam was no fool, she came across as a genuine, decent person who just needed a helping hand and a strong shoulder. Hope she gets well. Great work, Billy. Cheers from the North East.

Hi Billy, you're such a genuine man who has dealt with struggles and overcome demons in your own life. I'm not surprised people are willing to risk their safety and speak to you so candidly about their daily struggle. The Main stream media in this country are a disgrace to everyman man, woman, and child and should feel shame for not covering what's really going on in the streets of Merseyside either side of the river. If you were ever want to come and have a cuppa and just have a conversation I'd be willing to open up to you about what I've seen and witnessed in my own life on this earth.I know you're a tough man made of steel inside and out , but, your only human and doing videos like these on a daily basis could have a long-term detrimental effect on your own mental health so always be aware of this.

Corpy road, Cleveland street and Price Street not as bad nowadays as it was in the late 80s early 90s. Most of the pubs are no longer there nowadays, back then there was a brass on every corner blatantly offering their service for the oldest trade in the world.

My heart breaks for those living with addiction. They don’t start out using drugs knowing what it will do to them in the future. I have a son who struggles with addiction so I understand the struggle of addiction.
So many prostitutes and drug addicts can conquer their problems but help is limited and everyone is different. Mental health is a huge factor and people need to be treated individually rather than put into categories.
It’s a complex illness addiction with so many other illnesses intertwined, more funding needs to be pumped into the services rather than all these other peeps, charity starts at home :/

I knew her I lived in the same place I changed me life but I wasn't in the same stuff ..I just had hard times with getting jobs .. she's a decent woman she's just in a wrong place ..please fuckin help her I love that girl she's a decent person in the wrong place

You know beneath the drugs sam would have so much to offer in life! You can see that. Its just down to wrong choices and so many other decent people like sam just need a break in life
I used to play a pub called 'The Duke' . Late on some of the working girls would come in after work. They were normal, nothing wierd or anything, just making a living. Ps it was a great little pub sadly gone now
I hope Sam learns to get high on life again. It is heartbreaking to see women reduced to this for the sake of drugs. Drugs have ravaged our communities in so many ways. One of the saddest things is seeing young mothers and fathers putting their drugs before their children.
The thing is with addiction is that any addict who wants help to get clean etc, are made to wait for appointments wich is a piss tek, coz a addict has made a massive step to go try get on meds etc,they need help ryt away not made to wait wks later its a big problem all over the UK that aswell, ive lived that life but now im 3yrs clean, alot more things need to change to help these addicts coz they aint bad ppl really, theyve just got on wrong path, but hope sam manages to sort herself out theres a gr8 life for her once she beats her demons, if i can do it anybody can..gr8 vid again billy 👍
