Love the video. When you make these videos, please do NOT forget about the west coast. All these story lines from the big market east coast teams are cool, but the west divisions have won 3 of the last 4 world series, and they are really interesting too. I’ve the videos tho, love the hockey content too. Go padres!

When upper management makes any kind of promise to the fanbase that they're going to do everything to make their team competitive for the championship only to make sub par or par moves; yeah even the players are going to subtly ask "wtf is going on". Especially when you use terms like "full throttle", to any fan that means you'll sign the much needed pieces and big names at all costs, not tip toe as we're getting ready for Spring Training season.

it honestly wasn't a bad offseason but if they hadn't said "full throttle" maybe the fans wouldn't have been so mad. I still think it's stupid that people are saying sell the team though. This is a combination of bad luck and a bad fa market (for pitching) THIS offseason but not a core issue with the team in general. This is the red sox; they will spend little money this year and have the highest payroll in the league the next lol. This year their main plan seems to be to get the new coaching staff in order and fill some off their holes is the team along with drafting top pitching in June. Expect them to make a big splash next year when Walker B Burnes Bieber and soto are all FAs.

Baseball players’ inability to learn english is beyond me…When your face of the franchise can’t even speak english after many years in Boston, it’s a shame. Same for Vlady in Toronto, but also so many players around the league. This is the only major sport that accepts that.

To be fair I live in Boston and Devers is by far our best player and he doesn't need to speak English to get by in this city lol.

@@JVreemer it’s not about being able to get by in the city at all, it’s a matter of respect towards your fanbase and your teammates. After all those years, the guy can barely communicate with his teammates. Hockey players must speak English wherever they are from. A Japanese football player playing in a German league is expected to speak German after a while. A Croatian football player signing a contract in Spain is expected to speak Spanish after a while. A Portuguese football player signing with a Brazilian teams is… oh, nevermind ;). You get the point. I just think too many Spanish-speaking baseball players are selfish and disrespectful, I refuse to believe they're all too stupid to learn some basic English after many years.

@ericpelletier7721 I get your argument. It took Ortiz and Pedro maybe 10 years to get English down well. Boston just has a massive Spanish speaking population so it's not a need for him in the city. It'd be nice sure but he's one of the best bats in the MLB so I really don't mind. I'm pretty sure Malkin still doesn't really speak English yet lol
