The thing with H was he made grime tracks and rap tracks not just loads of freestyles and daily duppy's and that kind of stuff. Street Crime Uk is a UK Hood Classic. Everyone was listening to that. Most people who were into grime would have a selection of tracks but rarely would they listen to a whole album from an mc. There was only a few mc's on that level. Devlin, Wiley, Kano,Dizzee,JME, and Big H were probs the biggest. And out of those, H's stuff was most the most street and also listenable in any mood. Other artists could be just too hectic for casual listening, or were too mainstream . Skepta back then was making club/dance tunes, all the Roll Deep mc's sold out and were making pop grime, Tinchy Stryder was making pop. H was saying stuff peopel hadnt heard on tracks before. Plus, people knew H and Pres and Bossman and Pabs (bloodline) was actually into that stuff.
